Meryl is a girl from Nuvema Town, next door neighbour to Daniel, Dawn and Jack. She started her journey on her own, with her trusty partner Drilbur. They managed to beat the Striaton Gym before they met up with the gang. Meryl has a burn on her arm from Larvesta and Volcarno from when she was younger. Meryl has many secrets one of which is her having a legendary pokemon, however, she only has it for the pokemon's safety, but she later confessed to the gang. But she holds a deep dark secret about her family from the gang. Meryl dreams on becoming a pop star and is a great musician.
