Pokemon: The Unova Saga(moved from Sega)

The sandstorm seemed to pick up a bit as they got closer, though they had the shade so the heat wasn't as bad. Justin held on tighter to Oliver seeing as he weighed less and was smaller, fearing he could get blown away. "Man whats up with this sandstorm!" he said, shielding his eyes as he walked onwards.

"Just our luck to be caught in a sandstorm..." Ray held out an arm around his eyes to block the sand.

Lucy tried to keep up in the sandstom, "Maybe.... we should find a place to rest" she suggested

Spring nodded. "If we can find a place."

Justin searched for a place to take cover for a while until the storm passed. Eventually he saw some old ruins to the right, pointing over towards there after taking a drink of water, also letting his Pokemon have some "I think I see some ruins over there." Justin said as he began leading them towards there

Ray nodded, heading in the direction of the ruins.

"Good... shelter" Lucy said following

Spring heads there. "What are these ruins?"

Justin led the others into the ruins and it was definatley a little bit cooler inside. The old ruins also provided great coverage from the sandstorm that was going on. "This is perfect! We can just wait here until the sandstorm stops!" Justin said, sounding quite relieved.

Oliver jumped down and walked through the sand, looking around. "Oshawott..." (I've never seen a place like this before...) he said as he looked around, seeing ancient writing on the wall.

As Justin walked in further, he suddenly tripped over something in the ground "WAAAH!" he shouted as he fell face first into the sand. He groaned a bit as he got up "What was that!?" he questioned

"What?" Ray turned towards Justin to see what it was.

"....Did you just lose your balance?" Lucy asked, wondering how he fell

Spring walks up. "What happen?"

Justin looked around and apparently what he saw, sticking out of the sand was a brown and black crocodile-like Pokemon with dark eyes. It appeared quite angry and Justin slowly backed away when he realized the Pokemon was angry "Sorry...Sorry I didn't see you there." he said, though suddenly the Pokemon lunged at him with its mouth opened wide and teeth glowing white for a Crunch attack.

"OSHAAA!" (JUSTIN LOOK OUT!) Oliver cried out before he attacked the Pokemon with Aqua Jet to protect Justin. He managed to hit the hostile crocodile-like Pokemon and dealt some super effective damage.

Justin sighed a bit as he got back up "Thanks Oliver!" he told his Oshawott as he landed in front of him. He briefly checked his pokedex to learn the Pokemon was a Sandile. "Sandile please! I didn't mean to trip over you! We're just here to take shelter..." he explained

"Maybe it thinks it owns the place?" Ray guessed.

"It may be our best bet then to just stay out of his way"

"It seems hostile." Spring nodded, adn aggered with lucy.

Justin tried to calm down the Sandile down, though it only tried lunging at him again. He jumped back and it was then when he realized they needed to retaliate, though Oliver seemed to want to fight more. "Alright Oliver use your Water Gun!" Justin told Oliver

Oliver let loose a jet of water at the desert croc, though Sandile dug underground. Oliver looked around, trying to find out where Sandile was. Oliver spotted the sand rising a bit and he suddenly jumped up into the air.

As Sandile lunged upwards and attempted to attack Oliver with Crunch, Justin saw this as an easy attack. "Oliver use your Razor Shell!" Justin told Oliver who had just enough time to pull off his scalchop and slash at Sandile.

Sandile fell to the ground and though he took heady damage, it used Stone Edge on Oliver, firing numerous rocks at the sea otter Pokemon. Oliver was unable to dodge most and ended up getting hit by a couple shards of rock.

"Its alright Oliver! You can do this! Use your Aqua Jet on Sandile!" Justin told Oliver as his Pokemon got up.

Oliver soon encased himself in a jet of water and launched himself at Sandile who then dug underground again. Oliver stopped the attack quickly and landed on the ground.

"Oliver use your Water Gun into the hole!" Justin told Oliver who then blasted the hold and managed to hit Sandile and send him flying out of the hole. The resulting attack knocked the Sandile out much to Justin's relief.

"Or that can work. Good job, Oliver." Ray commented.

"Ya... though... are we just going to leave the guy out here?" she asked

"I think it best to take him along." Spring said.

"Great job lil buddy!" Justin said to Oliver who smiled at Justin and Ray. Justin eventually thought for a moment before he pulled out a pokeball "I think I'll catch it." he said before throwing the pokeball which shook three times before clicking. Justin walked over to pick it up "Alright! We got a Sandile!" Justin cheered

"Lavaaa!" (Yahoooo great catch!) Ty excitedly congratulated Justin

"Oshawott!" (Yaaay we did it!) Oliver cheered

"Good job, Justin." Ray congratulated him.

"Congrats, an even bigger team now" Lucy said "...now... just have to wait out this storm..."

"Good work hon." Spring huged him.

Justin hugged Spring and thanked everyone. He decided they should wait longer before the storm had passed and it was a good ten minutes before the sandstorm seemed to die out. "Alright I think its safe enough to leave now." Justin said as he, Ty, and Oliver walked back out into the sweltering heat of the desert. It was more clear now and good enough to leave.
