Pokenic League
This league is being organized by me to be a gateway into the world of competitive battling, here, you will be able to test out a team against a squad of gym leader, elite four, and champion teams to see how strong your Pokemon really are.
The league will first start off with gym leader teams, if you manage to defeat 8 of them, you will be allowed to challenge one of the many Champion teams, which will be based off characters from RPs on this site.
Gym Leaders will force to specialize in a type, and will be changing their teams periodically to better adjust their difficulty, either becoming easier or more difficult.
Elite Four when introduced will be based off a very specific strategy, and in turn, you are going to have to learn to adapt to these situations as the Elite Four members are introduced. These include things like a Sandstorm team, a trick room team, a team reliant on the Regenerator ability, whatever seems appropriate.
The Champion will be based off of RP characters, using any Pokemon they have had access to throughout their travels, giving the most balanced team possible. After the first is beaten, the victor becomes the new champion.
Participating in the league challenge allows you to pick up to 10 Pokemon and 12 items to participate across the many possible battles. There is a limit on these things to prevent you from just changing your team to best suit the gym, and just bring 6 fire types to the ice gym. You are allowed to rotate through Pokemon, changing one a month if you wish. Additionally, you don’t have to provide all items or Pokemon up front, you can choose them as you go along
Upon completing the league, you will be rewarded with one IV bred Pokemon of your choice (no legendaries though), with 5 perfect IVs in 5 stats of your choosing (if requested, I will try to make it a solid 6 as well) with any egg moves, and nature you desire. It will be Kalos based (no move tutor moves not available in Gen 6 will be on the Pokemon).
