Lance approached them, clapping his hands "...you've done amazing work here heroes, stopping us time and time again, getting in the of our process, and even turning Rube into her fully realized self, impressive" he said "....but you are not taking this meta from me, and I am taking mine back" he said looking at them, standing about 100 ft away from them

Bo and Tube freeze, leaving Bo open.

Glimmer steps up. “You don’t seem all that tough. How about you come over here and fight me?”

"I mean I wanted to fight the Superman" he said "but I am going to break your little team" he said
the dead look in Gwen's eyes were now plastered on Cam, who punched Glimmer in the back of the knee cap, tuned out, as Spike came rushing for him

Oliver cusses, running in at Cam to hold him down.

Cam quickly counters with a hit to the shoulder, trying to dislocate it
"Camelot, break them" Lancelot said, him getting the same metal claws he had, holding them over Glimmer, seemingly ready to kill her
"NO!" Spike and Mali both said, both making a mad dash to try and save Glimmer

Glimmer blast Cam with light. “All of you back off!” She shouted to the group, getting up quickly.

Cam was blasted away, the blades at the ends of his fingers missing
"....you are a fool" Lance said looking at Glimmer "you let a killer into your ranks, an assasssin, a murderer, one who belongs to the hand no less" he said "this... is all your failure" he said
Cam standing up the dead look still there, but the aggressive stance gone

“I let a Friend into the group.” Glimmer said going Bright. “And I’m not going to let you take him from us!” Glimmer blasted the ground launching herself at Lance.

Cam moved towards the group as Lance held up a Scabbard to protect himself

Alice jumps on Cam head covering his eyes.

Glimmer keeps up a quick set of attacks.

"You are suppose to be this guiding hope" Lance said looking at her "this light that he threw everything away for a belief in" he said laughing as he blocked her hits "...yet you pal around with some drug addict who's only claim to mean anything being the fact he got powers one day?" he asked "...I guess you who earned nothing have to stick together huh?" he said "or.... did Cam not tell you about the finer workings of your comrades there?" he said "are you oblivious to who your so called friends really are?" he said

he grabbed her, tossing her aside, heading for Oliver

“I have earn my keep.” Glimmer said back. “More than you who only ever gotten by by taking.” She holds both her hands tighter, blasting a massive light beam at him.

Oliver pops both his arms into place. Pulling out his Rosserie, blue fire appearing around Cam.

"you're group consisted of what when you joined?" he asked "a man's who's entire existence is based on revenge against a faceless organization, a puppet who cleaned up your messes you left behind and a worthless excuse of a girl who fell her to find a place she'd feel like she belonged in" he said, swinging at her with the scabbard

Cam ran through the fire, pain not a thought or concern for him at this stage, grabbing Oliver by the throat
"Oliver!" Mali said trying to fly over to help him, Spike getting in and charging in as well

Glimmer breaths heavily looking back at the group. “No.” She turns to try and get back to them.

Oliver Stan’s him with two long blades trying to pull him back.

He ducks, out of the way, the movement of a trained assassin, and ducking to the right, in her exposed state, he reaches forth, grabbing Mali's shoulder, claws digging their way into her

“Mali no!” Glimmer and Oliver shouted, Glimmer coming up on Cam , blasting him.

Cam flies back

"Tristan now!" Lance said as a line of explosions covered up him, Cam, Songbird and Gwen who all disappeared in the chaos

The Familiar circular pattern carving itself out of Mali, her keeling over onto the ground, dead

“No!” Oliver said going her. “No! No!” He holds her.
Glimmer falls to her knees, silent.

Spike walks over, trying to comfort Glimmer

Gel comes up. “No, Mali.”

Songbird laughs at the hide away. “So just like that? You murder on of the biggest heroes.”

Gwen and Cam both looked at her dead in the eye still 
"you are taking this rather well" Lance said "...I wasn't going to be making a personal appearance, but they forced my hand" he said "...do you know what I intend to do to you?" Lance asked her

The mass amount of blood lose didn't even give her a moment to say her goodbyes
Spike tried to help Gel and Glimmer both

“If I had a guess, some sort of breed b*tch.” Songbird said. “But I know things about you. You make metas.” She smiles. “So that must mean I have what it take to be one.”

Glimmer started to grow red. “Find them.”

"yes..." Lance said "Camelot over there's algorithm suggests you have the meta genes" he said "...and you have what I'd like to call a Type C Gene" he said
"Metas can be described in a multitude of ways, Type A are your blow things up types, like Glimmer" he said "you, produce and manipulate that's your metas style, type C, like my own" he said "or Camelot's" he said pointing to Cam "...it is our ALgorithm's suggestion that to produce the strongest Type C meta we can we should produce an ere using you two" he explained on their way to a large base

"How do we do that?" Spike said
Vern slowly started to get up

“So your not going to make me a Meta?” She asked, she looks at Cam. “Eh, he looks decent enough.”

Bo snaps out of her confusion, helping Vern up.

"We'll activate the gene so it is past off to the next" Lance said ".....if it makes you feel any better, you are the first to be matched with him" Lance said "Type As are a bit more common then us, and type Ds work well with Type As as well" he said

He got up looking around for his sister in the mass chaos
