As they walked in, the portal behind them closed, The two guards looking at them approaching "h...halt" they said "....we need a moment" they said, a bird flying deeper into the town

Oliver rolls his eyes. “Looks like we are stuck her for a bit.”

A few minutes later, a parade of knights came out, led by an older gentleman, with salt and pepper hair, with a striking resemblance to Malakai "....Come with me" he said "King Ionious would like to have a word with you" he said, starting to lead them through the town, large beasts being hung on pikes, weapons shops all around, bar fights all over as they got to the massive palace, him leading them all in

Bo looks at him, a little wide eye.
“Why does the king want to see us?” Oliver asked him.

"you're arrival was predicted by Grand Wizard Natalie" he said as they got to the doors to the throne room "Princess Rube has arrived"
he pushes the door open, sitting on a throne in the back is a wolfman just like Rube, but older, warn, the colour lost from his eyes hung over holding a staff "Welcome.... Welcome Rube" he said

“Your an princess?” Glimmer asked. “Huh! Do I get to be a princess too?”
“No sweetie.” Tube said. “I told you i’m Not interested!”

he looked at them "Welcome to Escastel" he said in a weak and sickly tone ".....I hear you have no interest in taking up the throne, is that correct?" he said ".....at the very least I hope to change your mind" he said "....for the time being...." he said looking at them all "....you are my esteemed guests" he said "Bruticus, lead them to their rooms, I'd like to have a word with Rube"
"Yes sure" the knight said, bowing, "Come with me" he said
".....I'm staying with Rube" Cam said, "and I guess for now that means Glimmer is too"
"It's rude to oppose the king's wishes"
"I need to make sure Rube is safe" he said
".....very well, him stay" Iounious said ".....he may prove to be the next king of this land for what I know" he said weakly, coughing in between
"....very well, the rest of you follow me" he said, leading them away, to these lavishiedly furnished guest rooms

Bo also stays “I stay with my sister.”
“No Bo, I need you to look after Glimmer.” Rube said passing off the child.
“... if you say so.” Bo said taking the child.

they each were given a massive room fully lined with things and modern accompaniments, lavish, big and comfortable

"you do not wish to lead correct?" he said "but you know what is coming, Lorelei is looking to strike you and every one of my eres down" he said "...you are entitled to all of this" he said "....do you not wish for it to be yours, so you can protect yourself?" he asked her

Gel looks around the room. “Hay Julia. Want to make a mess?”

Rube sighs. “I want to protect my friends and my family.”

"very well" he said "take your time, the offer is open" he said "get to know this place, it's people, it's locals" he said "....I know we look like a bunch of barbarians, and it's because there is some truth to that, but there is more to this world than just us werefolk, so open your mind" he said "....oh and I have given you one of my spare rooms" he said weakly "....our blood, well it's too rich and strong to give in to a human form so easily" he said "for diplomacy, I may need on occasion to take a different form, so I have a few rooms in the palace for that" he said, clapping his hands, as a light blue hue covered the room both him and her turning into more human looking figures, bearing a wolf's tail and wolf ears, their human ears missing "there is a switch by the door if you want to use it" he says, now looking like a weak, broken, tired old man barely holding onto life "...you can choose this, or normal if you wish" he said, as the light became a little brighter the two looking completely human "....I know it has been difficult on you" he said "....at least let me releave some of the burden you suffered while you are here" he said, the light turning back, both of them returning to their full wolf selves

Rube was looking at her hands, stunned for words, looking at Can.

He looked at her, holding her hand
"You and your friends have been given the entire western wing" he said "......I ask that you all make yourself at home, and come meet with me at dinner, my head wizard and and Bruticus will be joining, we.... have a task at the very least we'd like your professional opinion on" he said

Rube follows Cam to there room. “I don’t know how I feel about this Cam.” She told him.

"...for now there seems to be no strings attached" he said walking in the room, ignoring the transforming crystal switch "we just need a place to hide for now, once it's all done we can head back" he said "...The Hand has never stepped foot here" he pointed out "....it's.... a vacation for you" he told her

“I guess.” She said going to see the others. “I want to talk to Oliver about all this. He knows about mythology stuff.

Gel slides into Julia’s room. “Welcome to Fantasy.” She said to her. “So, seeing how we are now in hiding, how about me and you see how vampires live the night.”

"...you saw guys with massive muscles carrying god knows what type of meat with them" she said "...and you aren't going after them?" she said almost laughing "alright, we'll see this night life" she said "Just the two of us?"

"Alright I understand" he said leaning over and kissing her "I'm over my head, but I am here for you dear" he said

Vern knocked on Bo's door "....so I guess dinner is going to be a group thing tonight, not really a romantic date night" he said, unaware of Bruticus' similar appearance to Malakai, not thinking that she'd have any weight on her mind at all at the moment

“We are in a world of fantasy, and all you can think of is mussel men.” Gel laughs. “Well, Bo is definitely going to try to get it on with Vern, Rube is an expecting mother so no drinking for her, there is one other choice. Gwen.”

Bo looks at him, Glimmer playing a game on the bed. “Vern... a ghost from my past may have shown up.”

"...Will be honest probably better bringing bro along" she said 

"W...what are you talking about?" Vern asked

“So just us.” Gel said, “looking forward to seeing how you work.”

“I had a boy I was interested in a while back.” Bo tells him. “And, he died. And, well, his father is here.”

"...you want to talk to him at all?" he said looking at Glimmer "....I think I can keep an eye on her if you need a few" he said

"same to you" she said with a smile on her face

“Your are the best.” She said, smiling at him. Heading off to find the man.

“Get ready, I have a pregame target to try to bag.” Gel laughs, sliding in under her brother’s door.

he turned around, looking at Glimmer "...hi there, I'm Vern, nice to meet you" he said

He was sitting in his room, unpacking his bag, back to her

“I’m Kayla.” She said. “Are you my new Uncle?”

Gel slides up to him, quickly kissing him sliding over top of him.
