The Resurrection of Hoenn RPG

Grand Festival Finals.
2 Coordinators battled it out.
The four judges, Mr Contesta, Mr Suziko, Amy and Nurse Joy watched as the battle drew to a conclusion.
Vivian: TIME IS UP! And the winner is............Suzaanna!
A girl jumped for joy, she ran towards her 2 pokemon and began to hug them.
Amy handed her the trophy she had earned.
Amy: Congratulations Suzanna! You truely deserved this! I present you! The ribbon cup!
Suzanna: THANK YOU!
The Grand Festival wrapped up.
Sitting in the crowd was a gym leader, Flannery, she clapped.
Flannery: (One day, that will be me, a coordinator, if only I could get out of being a gym leader.)
Also in the crowd was a small boy, however, he was the same age as Amy, he was just short.
The party ended, and the night came to a close.
Amy: Thanks for waiting Tom!
Tom: No problem Amy! It will be like the very old days, although, without Dan and Kurt.
Amy: I'm on a break until the next contest season begins here in Hoenn, so we can go travelling to keep us busy, you want to challenge the gyms right?
A tall girl walked over.
Amy: Flannery long time no see!
Flannery: Why hello Amy, your right it has been a while, how are the group?
Amy: Well, Daniel and Jack have moved to the Unova region, last time I heard from them! Luke....uh....not sure what happened to him.
Flannery: And who is this?
Amy: This is an old friend of mine, Tom, he'll eventually fight you in a gym match.
Flannery: Ah yes, about that, I need to tell my grandad, I no longer wish to be the gym leader, I want to travel and become top coordinator!
Amy and Tom: REALLY?
Amy: Well, Flannery, why don't you join us on an adventure until we get to the gym? We'll be there for you when you tell your grandad?
Flannery: You would do that for me? Really? Thank you!

OOC: Can I use Gen 5 Pokes?

On the other side, a boy with brown short hair, yellow jacket, black shirt, blue pants and blue-black sneakers named Renoz Anoric were sitting on a bench.

He sighed and thought "If I can act properly in contest....".

OOC: Gens 1-4 only sorry.

Amy: Well then, we should head out tomorrow! I've waited a few months to begin my travels again, although, I'm afraid I'm too late to catch up to Daniel, and Jack.
Tom: Yeah, it would be nice to see Daniel again.
Flannery stared curiously at the boy on the other side of the room.

OOC: Can we join at any point?

OOC: It's fine

Renoz didn't realize that Flanery were watching him. As he left the contest hall, his emotion is suddenly changed and said, slowly "Why do I have to worry about that?". "Besides, the Contest is just for a little break from the harsh of the gym". He took his ribbon and looked to it "Although I want more of this shiny ribbon....". He then put it away.

Flannery wondered what the boy was thinking. She thought his expressions were similar.
Amy: So then, shall we head out?
Tom: Sure!

Elsewhere, a battle raged on.
Groudon Vs Kyogre
Groudon used Fire Blast.
Kyogre countered and diabled it with a Hydro Pump.
Groudon used Earthquake.

In Dewford Town.
Brawly stood outside his gym, watching the waves with a group of children in swimwear, all of them stood with Surfboards.
Brawly: Surfs up dudes and dudettes!
Brawly ran towards the sea.
Suddenly, the ground shook.
Brawly: Huh? What's going on?....Kids, GET DOWN! EARTHQUAKE!!!!!
The ground shook violently!

Kelly just finished shooting a major role of a movie in Petelsburg. "Ugh, five hours to shoot a 20 minute scene!"

Renoz walked to his home near the beach. He sat down on a recliner in the yard while looking to stars.

Amy, Tom and Flannery headed to the local Pokecenter.
In side were crowds of people watching the TV.
Amy: What's going on?
Plusle: Plu Plu!
Amy peered over to look, she could see a destroyed town, that had suffered the destruction of a Tsunami.
TV Reporter: It is said that an Earthquake shot through Dewford Town, and then, as if that wasn't bad enough, a Tsunami soon followed. No survivors have been found. Not even the towns gym leader. It is said that Ex Champion Steven was conducting research in the area.
Amy: That's terrible!
Flannery: Brawly? Gone? That can't be, he was such a nice and caring gym leader. He used to teach the children of Dewford how to surf.
Tom: If Dewford was destroyed, what happens to the rest of Hoenn? Could it be in the same state?
A local turned after hearing those words.
Local: You don't think that's true? The rest of Hoenn could be in trouble too?
Tom: I'm not sure.
Amy: How can this just suddenly happen.

Kelly drank a bottle of mineral water, and looked at her Azurill. "Your the cutest Azurill in the world, you know that?" She petted her. She then turned on the TV, and saw the news alert. "Oh no! that's terrible!"

The next day, there was a silence in Hoenn due to the destruction of Dewford town.
Amy awoke in Slateport's famous grand hotel.
She looked outside, it was a horrible wet day, the rain kept pouring down.
Amy: Plusle, I can't believe what happen to Dewford.
Plusle: Plu Plu!
Amy: I wish there was something we could do. But it was completly destroyed.
The door of her room opened, Tom and Flannery were stood in the hallway.
Flannery: Amy, You okay?
Amy: I dunno. I just wish we could do something.
Flannery: I think everyone does, but there is nothing we can do.
Tom turned the TV on.
Reporter: The earthquake suggests that the next place to be hit by an earthquake is Slateport City.
The trio's eyes widenend.
Amy: What?
Reporter: An evacuation will take place later today to get each and every person out of the City and move them up the Mauville City.
Amy: We have to leave?

OOC: I forgot to say, Renoz's house is actually a caravan.

Once Renoz heard the news on the tv in his house, he thought "Guess I have to leave ASAP". He put his up is headgear and carried his recliner back to his house. Then he went to driver's room and start driving to Mauville.

Kelly, Azurill, and her Big bodyguard, Hank, were gettng on her private jet to fly to Mauville. The reason was that Kelly's mother and step-father were in Slateport. "I have to be with them..." She hugged her Azurill tightly.

The buses arrived, and people began boarding them, Amy had never seen so many before.
Amy, Flannery and Tom were waiting to get on the last bus, they wanted to be sure everyone was out of Slateport okay.
Amy: I hope we have time before the Earthquake hits.
Flannery: I'm sure we will.
The buses began to leave for Mauville City.
Amy: Alright here they go.
The first few had hit the road, and made room for more buses.
Amy, Flannery and Tom boarded the last bus.


Elsewhere, Groudon and Kyorge continued to battle, neither of them backing down.

Amy looked at a young boy who had bottle of water on his table on the bus. The water was rippling.

Renoz turned on auto-drive and he looked to right-side window. He saw some buses coming. He thought "Looks like everyone are already prepared for the evacuation".

Amy's bus pulled off and began the journey to Mauvile. However, as they were leaving Slateport. The ground began to shake, houses began to collapse. The buses picked up speed and was just ahead of the chaos. But then, minutes later, a huge tidal wave appeared behind them, it swept through Slateport destroying everything in sight, including the contest hall, and Pokecenter. People on the buses screamed.
Amy: FASTER FASTER FASTER!!!!!!!
Amy held onto the hand rail in front of her tightly.
Amy: Please, please, please....
Tom: We need to go faster! GO Areodactyl!
Areodactyl came out of its pokeball and appeared outside.
Tom: Grab the bus!
Areodactyl latched onto the bus, it then began to lift it into the air.
Amy: That's a good idea!
Tom: Areodactyl are fast and can fly!
Flannery: That's so smart!
Amy noticed the caravan behind the bus was following them.
Amy: We need rope.
She noticed on the back of the bus was a rope which had a hook attached to it.
Amy: Togekiss! GO!
Togekiss came out of its pokeball, it grabbed the rope and flew down to the caravan. The waves of water were catching up. And so was the piles of rubble.
Togekiss launched the rope and hook at the caravan, the caravan was securely hooked to the rope, and began to rise from the ground.
Aerodactyl flew higher.
Flannery grabbed a pokeball.
It went outside the bus, from the pokeball was a Charizard.
Charizard grabbed the bus, and began to help Aerodactyl.
They got higher and higher, they were safe.
The buses below saw, and multiple small pokemon like Wingull, and Zubat began to grab the roofs of the buses, they tried to lift them up. But suddenly. The ground shook, the buses lost control, 10 of the buses crashed, and before anyone could escape, the tsunami wave swept them up.
Amy closed her eye, a tear ran down her face.

Renoz noticed that he has been saved and said "Guess I'll say thanks later". He looked down and saw that some buses were failed to be saved, he said "That's.... Terrible". He start looking down.

The pilot landed in the city. Kimmy began to look for her parents desperetly, not knowing they were on one of the buses that didn't make it.

Amy's bus and the caravan arrived in Mauvile, they parked next to the buses that left earlier that day and made it.
The were children and people crying for their loved ones who had been lost.
A man stood on a stand.
????: People, I am terribly sorry to hear what has happened, we wish to help you all, Please stay here as long as possible, we have enough energy here thanks to the power plant.
Flannery: That's Wattson, the Gym leader.
Amy: I remember him!
Wattson stepped down from the stand to greet Flannery.
Wattson: I'm glad you made it Flannery, its a shame about Brawly, but why aren't you in the gym?
Flannery: Oh well, Grampa is looking after it whilst I went to watch the Grand Festival.
Wattson turned to Amy
Wattson: Good to see you again Amy.
Amy: Hi Wattson!
Tom: My names Tom, nice to meet you!
Wattson: Hello there my boy, its nice to meet you too. So, would you join me in the gym?
The trio nodded.
Wattson lead the group to the gym.
He sat them down and explained the situation.
Wattson: What I said outside? I lied. I'm terrified that the Power Plant's energy is running out, soon the whole of Mauvile and Hoenn will have a powercut.
Flannery: Why?
Wattson: Well, when the earthquake struck Slateport, it destroyed some of the cables which was carrying power. Now the Power Plant is running on emergency power which will run out tonight. We've sent some men to the power plant to fix it, but we haven't heard from them, I'm worried.
Flannery: We'll go check out the Power Plant for you! We'll find those workers!
Wattson: Really you would? Oh, I would be most grateful! Thank you!

Renoz noticed that some people were entering the Mauvile. He then stepped out from his caravan and knocked on the gym door.

Wattson: Who could that be?
The gym doors opened up. Outside stood Renoz
Wattson: Are you a challenger? I'm sorry but under the current crisis, all gym matches have been postponed.

"No, besides I have no time for that" said Renoz. "Correct me if I wrong, but can I evacuate here?".

Wattson: Evacuate the city? Not right now sorry, registers are being held to count the survivors. You must stay in the city. Although, if you do wish to do something useful, you could accompany these fellows to sort out the Power problem?
Amy: That would be helpful!
Tom: We could use all the help we can get.

"That's not what I meant, but whatever" said Renoz. "I'll do it".

Wattson: Then it's settled! I'll take you there now!
Wattson took the group to the Power Plant.
Wattson: You'll need to surf! So water pokemon are needed here!
Amy: Empoleon! GO!
A pokemon came out, Empoleon, who had evolved not long ago.
Tom: Lapras! You too!
Amy hoped on Empoleon.
Tom, Flannery and Renoz boarded Lapras.
They headed across the waters and over to the Power Plant.
