Dawn of Heroes

“Everyone made it.” Oliver said. “That girl who jumped me. She...” he truns to look at the others.
Rube has scratches on her face, bandages around her head, and a brace on her jaw. She was definitely missing a few teeth.
“Once I have my hand in movable shape, I’ll be able to paint the ruins and cast the spell to un-petrify Jade.” Oliver tells her.

Cam was holding his shoulder, a metal plate now covering his left arm reinforcing it, making the worthless arm at least usable 
"...I thanks" Spike said angry

Oliver looks at all of them. “Where is our leader?”
“She on the roof. She said she wanted to watch the sun set.” Bo said.

Cam's eyes light up in fear "damn it" he said running to the roof, Rube and Bo able to piece together he assumed a suicide was coming up
Spike chased after him, not sure what he was thinking
Mali looked over at Bo "....w...what is happening?"

“He thinks she going to jump!” Bo yelled.
Tube and her try to move, but clearly into much pain, and Oliver couldn’t move as fast.

He rushed to the roof, Spike a little behind him, Cam exhausted looking at her

She was sitting in a chair, away from the edge, clearly not going to jump.

"h....hey" Cam said approaching her

“Hay Cam.” She said, not looking away. “Is Mali up yet?”

"y...ya" he said, looking at her "y....you doing ok?" he asked

“I am doing as good as I can.” Glimmer said, slowly getting up, going to go see Mali.
Out of everyone Glimmer seemed to be the best off, until Malinsees her face, half covered, and clearly having lost her left eye.

Cam and Spike went down with her, the face of relief Cam had when they got off the roof clearly visible to all

Glimmer stands in front of everyone. “It has been a hard time for all of us. I am truly sorry to have let this happened.”

Mali turned away, facing the Window

Glimmer looks at her. “Nothing I can say or do will make it up.” She trails off, sitting down.

"....you are suppose to be the hero" she said "not me" she said "I am an experiment who's joke was to clean your mess up" she said "....that's.... what we were always told to do" she said looking at the wall "......and.... I think it's time we all accept that you needed it" she said looking at the wall tremble in her voice "....I...think..... I..... need to take control of this" she said defeated

“And I agree.” Glimmer said. “I am official announcing my resignation from the potion of leadership, and leaving it up to the group to determine who the leader will be.” Glimmer said. “It was my behavior and choices that has led to this.” She looks at them. “All in favor of Mali leading?”

Cam looked at the situation hesitantly but raising his hand "I"
Mali looked at the wall "I"

Rube and Bo look at one another. “I.” Both of them said.
“I.” Glimmer said. “Congratulations, Mali, your the team leader.” She said.
Oliver looks at Mali, not Voting.

Spike held his vote too, looking at her "...so there it is"

“As I have previously started.” Glimmer uncle told the press, “the bird is very unsatisfied with the output of Glimmer and her associations. As such, She is no longer the recipient of our funds.”
Glimmer head shoots up at the tv, watching her uncle say that.
“We have already chose a new recipient.” He shows of a new girl. “This is Pocket Trick. And she will be the leader of the new Angle Program.” The girl being the same one who took the team down.

".....oh good" Cam said looking at the TV "someone new for the public to build up trust to, that can't possibly go wrong" Cam said

Months later, Bo and Glimmer were sparing in the training room, Glimmer has an eye patch over her missing eye, a a few scares, and Bo had cam replace her missing horn bit with a cybernetic replacement.

"...alright" Mali said walking in "we got word of a strange sighting in a small town not that far from here" she said "....a wolfman.... with red fur" Mali said "saw in the dead of night" she said "....it seems like something we should be looking into" she said "might be Tracker got out and dyed his fur" she said

Oliver overhears this, gathering up his silvered weaponry.
“Isn’t Tracker still lock up in Churchchill Prison?” Glimmer asked using a towel to wipe off her sweat.
