Road to Tomorrow's Heroes

"Honestly no idea, he was always a very secretive hero" she said "even his name isn't known by the agency" she said "which made the Library book come across as sloppy" she said

The woman put down her book, taking the copy he had looking it over "....you don't look like Mr. Blaythed" she said looking at him "...you a friend of his?" she asked him, a confident smile on her face "this book is three months overdo, you really want to pay this debt?" she asked, seemingly giving him an out if he wanted to say he just found the book

“That is odd.” Kiju said shifting back to her normal human form, her face becoming upset as the crystal separated from her.

“I found the book in his old office.” Oliver held out the money. “No trouble to me. Oliver Twist, nice to met you Miss.” he looks at her name tag.

"Literature and myself know the names of roughly 80% of the heroes out at the moment, in case there is trouble we know where to help" she said looking at the screen "....we should go check up on him" she said, turning down her hue, looking like a normal person for a bit, though her hair was still the bright pink of her hero form

"Natalie, Natalie Blaythed" she said extending a hand "so you are the one who took over his old office huh?" she asked, a cocky smile on her face "what a twist intend" she said

“Ok. Sure.” Kiju said looking at her, a bit wide eyed.

Oliver smiles back, giving her a kiss on the back of her hand, returning the cocky smile. “Nice to met you Miss Blaythorn. I didn’t know he would have such a pretty granddaughter.” He looks over at her book. “And such a studious one at that.”

She started to head off 

She blushed a bit, pulling her hand back "I know how your types work, but you don't need to have those false flattery" she said, taking him to the back "you are our towns new hero" she said ".....You have access to our basement level as you see fit" she said, pulling a lever, a bookcase opening like one of those spy movies down to a lower level "they always try flirting with me, like they think that would get them into the collection, I have no idea why they think that would work" she said

“There is a private collection?” Oliver asked, watching her. “I was just being polite.” He follows her, looking at the moving bookcase. “This is a classic.” He lets her lead him in,

"....My Grandfather is a collector of books" he said "everything and anything" she said ".....his private collection has some of history's most note worthy authors and some rare one of a kind more archiological supplies" she said going up to an old fashion Pirate Treasure Map

Oliver breath caught, him looking around “Amazing!” Oliver starts to browse the shelves, “I never knew. These manuscripts... may I?” He asked wanted to read them.

"Mr Twist, you are the new hero of the town, therefore the operator of this floor" she said

Oliver takes a seat with one of the books, getting lost in it almost immediately.

Natalie smiled "take your time down here sweety" she said, heading back to the surface

Oliver takes his time, reading the book, and then exploring the room. “I wonder what secrets you hide.” He said pouring over the pirate map.

The map looked warn and weathered, but still in decent shape

As the pair approached the Library, a column of ice appeared in the middle of the road, trying to knock them back

Kiju falls back, pushing the gem into her chest to transform again, looking around for the attacker:

Rose rolled off, looking around too
"Cam, Kayla, ready to prove your worth?" a White haired woman asked the duo, she wearing a black and blue outfit to match the previous ones
"....Viv, when did you become so cold?" a dark haired boy of seemingly English decent said, looking at the girl
"It has been years since I was recruited, times change", she jumping to the duo, blade in hand, sending a cold gust through the air

Kiju growls, and jumps at her, getting blasted away by a beam of light, a well dressed girl standing before them and Cam. “Stay behind me sir.” She told Can, looking. Ready for the next fight.

"Good" Vivian said looking at Gleam with appreciation 
Cam looked at them, touching a near by telephone both which started to walk and approach the duo
"3 on two, can't even fight fair?" Rose asked them

Oliver comes out of the library, pushing a cart of books with him. “Unable to keep out of trouble Betawave?” He asked her stoping next to her.

"we came to check up on the careless one" she said as ice came in contact with her
"You would do well to take me seriously" the Cold one said, the telephone booth on legs trying to ram into Literature

Oliver grabs the first book, reading it, a great deal of wind starting to blow around them, sand starting to form over the battle flies and blowing at the Daughters

"Blizz, circle around, Glim keep them on the defensive" Cam said, the sword woman circling around, as the telephone booth punched Lit in the face

Blizz made her way behind the girls, blasting Rose with a streak of ice, that rises out of the ground, her taking the hit and shaking a bit ".....how dare you" Rose said shivering 
"Did I find your weakness girl?" she said, moving into swing at Rose with a sword

Literature goes flying back, his books crashing around him, picking himself up; he grabs one, starting to read it out loud, it turning into a shoot gun in her hands. Taking aim, he fires on the phone booth.

Kiju jumps at Blizz, grabbing her fangs and claws and upping off spreads of her armor, until she is blasted off with a beam of light from Gleam.

The Phone booth falls down, Cam sending in a mailbox and parking meter in next

"....that is quite the hit" she said, replacing the armor with a sheet of ice "let me show you mine" she said trying to blast her with a line of solid ice

Literature blast away again, running to get cover from the machines coming after him.

Kiju is blaster even further back, her letting out a roar.

Glimmer Gleam focus on Rose, blasting her down with light.

"When did they get compotent people on their side?" Rose asked

Cam came in a bit closer, a dagger in hand

Blizz looked at Kiju "Freeze" she said, launching a wave of ice, trying to freeze her feet to the pavement
