Pokemon: Kalos Adventures

Alun: Yeah you two....*points to the siblings* Any idea of what this is all about?

Finn: It's... pretty obvious...
Clare: before your memory wipe, you were looking into mega evolution for some reason.... while you may have pushed down your memory of important events to you, the facts are close enough to the surface to became noticeable to you when needed.... Really Finn, first time I meet the group of them and I am playing encyclopedia?
Finn: Well you always said you were the talented one
Clare: Gee... thanks *she said sarcastically rolling her eyes* 
Finn: ....how rude, we haven't introduced ourselves to half of your party Flannery *he looked to Alun, James, Daniel and Evan* I am Finn, water type specialist and current part of the team Flare tracker team

Alun: Brain wipe? Are you trying to say Jude worked for these criminals? But had his brain wiped? 
Daniel: Jude? That can't be can it? 
Evan: My name is Evan!
Daniel: Oh right, the name is Dan!
Alun: I'm Alun!
James James is my name
Minun: Mai
Turtwig: Turtwig!
Daniel: These are my partner pokemon, Minun and Turtwig!

*Jude looked on in shock*
Finn: ....I was trying to dance around that way of wording it geezer, the fact that he didn't know has sorta been keeping him in check as of late...
Jude: Wa....wait so that's why you....
Finn: yep... still figured you were part of them, so we acted
*Finn seemed really upset that Jude found out and seemed like he was about to explode*
Clare: *looked at her brother, seeing he was upset, she decided to deflect his emotions* this is my partner Delibird, and I would like to introduce myself as the future Mrs. Dan she said, smirking and winking at Dan, trying to get him to know she was just trying to mess around with her brother, she clearly being the one who kept him in check*
Finn: W....what what what! Clare, come on, you just met the guy and know nothing about him! you can't seriously be saying stuff like that!
Clare: Oh come on, what do I need to know, he's a trainer, he's cute and he's totally not some evil organizations puppets, I mean, there are alot worse options in this room
Finn: you are not going to be talk like that to our new acquaintances, you are going to make them very uncomfortable!
Clare: you are totally right, I am.... sorry about that
Finn: *was looking at his sister, fuming mad, his emotions deflected off of Alun*
Clare:.... but can I at least get a seeing him get flustered was funny? *she turned to Dan looking for conformation*

Daniel: Ah.uh..I...uh...well.... 
Minun and Turtwig jumped onto Dan's shoulders. 
Alun: So Jude, you really can't remember being part of Team Flare? I suppose that's good isn't it! As far as I'm concerned you're one of us.
James: How can you say that? Once part of an evil organisation, always part of one I say. 
Flannery: Oh you would wouldn't you! Leave off him, he can't remember so back off. 
James: Its true though, when he eventually gets his memory back he'll turn back to them and forget us.
Flannery: Oh and you're a Xatu now? 
James: No, but its bound to happen....
Alun: Will you two stop acting like Jude isn't here and can speak for himself. 
Evan: Jude, you won't betray us right? We're friends?

Jude: I don't know why I'd ever work for a group like them, but I do know where my friends are here
Finn: *glared at James* you think they can't be saved huh, you think that once a criminal always a criminal?!
Clare:.... that lady leading that faction of team Flare, that Mable woman..... she's our sister
Finn: and you are trying to say there is no hope for her....
Clare: .....sometimes boy, it's better just to keep your mouth quite... you are less likely to make someone flip a table, case and point, stumbling Dan didn't cause an outbreak from me
Jude:...you know you don't have to trust me James, once a criminal always a criminal..... but those with glass houses shouldn't throw Geodudes

Alun: Not everyone agrees and that's fair enough, everyone is entitled to their opinion, but James remember, not everyone agrees with trading your pokemon away......
James: Yeah but I'm trying to prove to everyone that I was wrong....
Alun: And Jude can't do the same? 
James:.....ah..well..
Daniel: You know, I've known a few friends who....joined evil organisations, and one of them I was especially harsh on and didn't allow them to redeem themselves. But I suppose......like we're saying, anyone can redeem themselves. 
Korrina: Well you know something, the bracelet responded to you straight away and Houndoom allowed you to enter its heart because of your bond together, so he can't be all that bad.
Grandpa: Wise words Korrina!
Korrina: Thanks Grandpa!
Alun: And maybe Mable can be saved too, sure she's doing bad, but maybe she'll come to her senses.

*Finn nodded, glaring at James*
Clare: Listen, I am sorry about your future brother in law being such a tool, it's just who he is, he can't help it *Clare smirked, looking at Dan, fully aware it would annoy Finn*
Finn: STOP it already, he isn't your fiance or anything, just stop bugging the poor man!
Clare: oh, no... I can't, it's too much fun to see you get all angry over it
Finn: now how is it fair that you are using him just to get to me
Clare:... and maybe I like seeing him flustered *she stuck her tongue out at her brother, taunting him with not a real answer*
Finn: Clare just stop it please!
Clare: *looked at Jude and nodded, telling him to keep James in check*

Daniel continue to be uncomfortable. 
Daniel: Well uh....I....so Jude, you're still one of us! Now we agreed once we visited the tower we'd go to the gym.
Korrina: So you're a trainer here to challenge the gym? 
Daniel: Yeah and I've been training hard for this. 
Korrina: Oh yeah? Well I can't wait to see you in action! *blushes, then stares at Clare* Bet you're quite strong *blushes more* 
Daniel: Yeah so the gym leader better look out! 
Korrina: I'll make sure she's well prepared for it then.
Daniel: Oh you know her? 
Korrina: Know her? *spins on the spot* I am the gym leader! 
Daniel: You?!
Korrina: Yeah and Korrina's the name! So how about you come to the gym in the morning? I'll be waiting for you *blushes again*

Clare: ....believe it or not she is actually really tough" Clare warned him, holding up the badge* she is no push over

Korrina: Yeah but you still managed to get the win! 
Daniel: You got a badge? Alright well now I definitely need to fight you!
Korrina: And you will! Tomorrow! I'll see you tomorrow!
Old man: Yes, but I'd like to thank you all for your help today. 
Sycamore: You guys were excellent!

Clare:... so then.... why don't we treat you all out for the night?
Finn: are you really offering, but we have
Clare: Plenty of time for a break, we have been taking on Flare and gathering badges, and I still haven't seen enough of this city, so let's at least go and have some fun in it, with people who seem cool, even if a bit quite *looked at Dan* besides, we have a gym leader, here, no wait two, didn't you say how you one day wanted to be one of those Finn, well take the chance while I chat it up with them to grill those two for answers

Daniel: That doesn't sound like a bad idea, I could do with some food. 
Alun: And Shalour has a great selection of restaurants. 
Evan: Yay food time!
The gang left Sycamore and the Old man at the tower, as they went off for food, each of them shaking Sycamore's hands as they left. 

The gang began to decide on a place to eat, they walked passed a bush along the way, once passed a pokemon jumped out. It began sniffing the air for a scent, and then began following the gang. 
They decided on a restaurant which had an amazing view of the tower. 
Daniel: This place looks good!
Evan: I don't mind where we eat. I just want some food. 
Alun: Then let's get a table here. 
The gang sat down together at a table. 
James: We've been out all day I've been waiting to take this bag off for a while. 
James placed his bag down on the floor under the table. 
The pokemon followed the gang and ran under the table. It began sniffing the ground until it reached James' bag, it sniffed it and smiled, it stuck its head in the bag, before a red laser zapped it inside.

Finn: so.... it looks like James found himself a new Pokemon
Jude:. something sniffing around?
Clare: Oh, a scavenger, awesome!
Finn:.... only you could define something that's trying to steal from one as awesome
Clare: No no no, it's a scavenger, not a thief, something that hunts and looks around, finding what it needs to find in order to survive, sorta like a bloodhound or something, and in a pinch, super helpful for surviving a "night in the woods" *she said trying to adopt a spooky voice to illustrate the point, but the voice coming out terribly*
Jude:...That does sound useful
Clare: well of course, all Pokemon are useful

James: What do you mean? When did I get a new pokemon? *reaches bag and grabs his poke balls* 
Out of the poke balls came Squirrel and Elektrike. 
James: See these are my pokemon.....
Suddenly another beam of light came out of the bag, revealing a small green and brown pokemon. 
Daniel: Huh? Who's that pokemon?  *Pokedex* 
Pokedex: Chespin, the Spiny Nut Pokemon. Chespin can flex the soft spikes on its head, making them so stiff and sharp that it can even pierce through stone.
Alun: That's one of the Kalos starter pokemon. 
Evan: What's it doing here? 
Daniel: Wasn't Guy delivering the starters? I got Froakie in the end, he has Fennekin......
Chespin began sniffing the gang's hands, and its tail wagged.
Chespin: Pin pin! Chespin! 
Alun: Maybe this is the missing Chespin then? And it can smell the scent of the Professor. 
Flannery: That could definitely be true don't you think. 
James: So I've got a new pokemon? 
Flannery: Yeah try not trading this one way *mutters under breath* 
James: I won't. These 3 pokemon are going to be the proof I need Flannery.

Finn: I hope so...
Jude: good luck with that
Clare: I am sure it can be pulled off

Squirtle looked at Chespin. 
Squirtle: Squirtle! Squirtle Squirt! 
Chespin: Pin pin! Pin Chespin! 
The two pokemon shook hands. 
James: Looks like they're getting on. Actually, I'm popping out to check out how strong my pokemon are, can I use your pokedex to check out Chespin's moves. 
Daniel: Sure
James used the pokedex which then told him Chespin's moves.
James: So it knows Vine Whip, Pin Missile, Tackle and Leech Seed. 
James went outside with his pokemon. 


James: Squirtle Water Gun! Chespin cut through it using Vine Whip! 


Alun: Hey maybe James is turning a new leaf? 
Flannery: He still has a long way to go if you ask me. 
Daniel: I think that's because he's got the most to prove to you. 
Flannery: *blushes* What do you mean? 
Daniel: Well you know, he upset you the most. 
Flannery: Oh right *stops blushing* Yeah exactly. A long way to go. 

James continued to train with his pokemon. 
Daniel: Well if James is going to train, I guess I should too. 
Daniel grabbed one last bite of his food before running outside too. 
Daniel: James, let's spar! 
James: Okay, but I warn you, I'm getting the hang of this now. 
Daniel: Starly! Froakie! 
James: Squirtle, Chespin! Let's show him our strength. Use Rapid Spin, Chespin use Pin Missile! 
Squirtle spun towards the two pokemon, with a group of pins following it. 
Daniel: Froakie! Stop Squirtle with a Bubblebeam! 
A bubble came out of Flroakie's mouth, Squirtle span inside the bubble, getting stuck inside.
Squirtle: Squirtle! 
The pins then popped the bubble.
Daniel: Aerial Ace Starly! 
Starly flew into Squirtle, hurting it!

*Jude  and Clare watched the battle, Finn occasionally probing Flannery on what it's like being a gym leader*
Clare:...he's a good friend isn't he?
Jude:...you are talking about Dan?
Clare:..ya...
Jude:....I'd say so, way too naive and trusting, but willing to help out no matter what
Clare: hey, rather be too trusted than a jaded old man *she said in a joking tone*
Jude: I dunno about that
Clare: Hey, me and my brother are trusting a member of Team Flare, pretty sure that puts us in the same boat of naivety as him 
Jude: *smiles* I guess that's true at least

Squirtle and Chespin both fainted!
Daniel: Alright! Still got a long way to go James.
James: Meh, I went easy on you. 
Daniel: Sure you did! 
Evan: Yay Dan! 

Alun walked over to Jude and Clare. 
Alun: Being naive isn't so bad, but Dan is a brilliant friend, and by being that it makes him a great trainer. You know he reminds me of myself when I was his age. And I think great things will come his way. Anyway, Clare I'm sorry to hear about your sister being part of Team Flare, how long has she been working for them?

Flannery: Well, I haven't been in the gym for a while now Finn, its been almost a year since I was last in Hoenn and at my gym, I do miss it though, especially some of my pokemon. But I know my experiences on this journey will make me a better gym leader. Even if I do find myself getting mad at some of the decisions a certain individual makes.

Clare: About 5.... though we have only known about it for the last 3, and only really been able to try and stop them in the last two of them..
Jude: there was a reason you couldn't before then?
Clare: Yep, I was in no shape to be out fighting
Jude: why was that?
*Clare pointed to her eyes, not giving a full explanation, but clearly saying there was something wrong with them*

Finn: well you will learn and see alot more, not to gloat or anything, but Kalos has one of the largest pools of wild Pokemon in the world, making it even easier for you to learn about your type and the other types around

Alun: Its okay Clare, you don't have to talk about it anymore if you don't want to. 

Flannery: That's exactly why I chose this region to visit. Its great isn't it. And such a beautiful region too. 

Professor Sycamore arrived to join the gang for food, along with a tall man, with orange hair and an orange beard. 
Sycamore: You've eaten already. 
Daniel: Yeah Professor, we were hungry.
Sycamore: Well I imagine you would be after the day you've had. These folks have been battling against Team Flare *aimed at the man with him* 
Man: Team Flare? And you managed to beat them? Says a lot about that organisation if they are being beaten by anyone. You haven't paid of the food here have you?
Daniel: Not yet no. 
Man: Well don't worry about that. My name is Lysandre and I'm an old friend of Sycamore's, this is one of my cafe's that I own around Kalos.
Daniel: Woah thank you so much. 
Minun: Mai
Turtwig: Turt! 
Chespin ran up to Sycamore to hug him.
Sycamore: Chespin! Well would you believe it! You've been found. 
James: Yeah it found itself in my bag. I accidentally caught it.
Sycamore: That's great news. Will you look after Chespin for me?
James: Sure its a great pokemon. 
Lysandre: Shall we go inside?

*Jude felt nervous for some reason, very tense, unable to focus around the new man*
Clare: *nodded* I will when the time is right

Finn: ..I think we should join them, I don't know about you

Alun turned around to recognise Lysandre. 
Alun: Well what do you know. 
Lysandre: Well if it isn't my old pal Al. How's it going buddy! *hugs Alun*
Alun: You've known me all these years and know I don't like personal contact yet you always hug me. 
Lysandre: It just has to be done. What are you doing these days? You must be principal by now.
Alun: Not yet, but getting there, at the moment though I'm reliving our youth. 
The gang looked confused. 
Alun: Oh sorry everyone, this is my old friend Lysandre. Me and him are old friends, we used to actually be travelling companions way back and travelled around Kalos together. 
Lysandre: Those were the days, then we both went our separate ways, you went onto teaching and I continued to travel and went to Sinnoh.
Sycamore: Which is where you met myself, as an aid under Prof. Rowan. 
Lysandre: Correct!
Sycamore: I had no idea you two knew each other. 
Lysandre: Will shorty here is one of my oldest pals. 
Alun: I knew eventually by trying out one of your cafe's I'd bump into you. Look at you all Mr Corporate business man! How's Pyroar and Gyrados?
Lysandre: They're doing well. How's Hitmontop and Azumarill?
Hitmontop and Azumarill stopped eating and ran over to see Lysandre.
Lysandre: Ah there they are! Good to see you both. I was saying to Daniel, I hope you enjoy your food because its on the house. 
Alun: Ah, cheers mate!
Lysandre: Not a problem, consider it a reunion present.

Clare: that's awfully nice of you, thank you

The groups interacted, and the gang got to know Lysandre, Clare and Finn more. 
However, darkness fell and it was time to retire to the pokemon centre. 

The next morning, the gang along with Sycamore, Lysandre, Clare and Finn headed to the gym in order to watch Dan's match against Korrina. 

Korrina skated around the battlefield, the gang entered.
Korrina: Finally, I've been psyching myself up to fight you all morning. This is going to be a great battle. 
Daniel: Okay I can't wait to start, what are the rules.
Referee: This shall be a 3 on 3 gym match with only the challenger making substitutions. 
Korrina: So Dan, are you ready? I shall being using Mienfoo as my first pokemon. 
Daniel: I'm so ready for this. Let's go! Litleo. 
Litleo came out of its pokeball. 
Referee: The match shall now commence.
Evan: GO LITLEO!
Alun: Good luck Dan.
Sycamore: This shall be a good match I hope, I've heard from other Professors about how strong Dan is. 
Lysandre: We shall see won't we.
James: He's not too bad. 
Flannery: You're right, he's better than that! He's great. Smash it Dan!

Daniel: Lileo let's start with Scratch! 
Litleo ran at Mienfoo.
Korrina: Use Aura Sphere! 
Daniel: Litleo stop and roll to the side! 
It was too late, Litleo had picked up too much speed, and the aura sphere crashed into its face.
