Finn: A normal versus a fighting type, Dan is at a serious disadvantage
Clare:.....serious, I use ice types to face a team called Team Flare, and you really think type makes that much of a difference?
Finn: Well I....
Clare: *saw Litleo get hit* just watch and learn brother, *she turned to her brother sticking out her tongue and closing one eye tauntingly* my future husband won'tt lose so easily to something so tried as type advantage
Jude:.... plus..... it's also a fire type.... if there is one unpredictable type in this world, it's the flames of fire

Daniel: Litleo you okay?
Litleo was bruised. But nodded.
Daniel: Ember!!!!!! 
Litleo tried firing multiple flames at Mienfoo.
Korrina: Stop them with Aura Sphere. 
The flames and spheres collided together setting off fireworks. 
Evan: This looks cool!
Alun: It does doesn't it.

Daniel: Litleo Ember! Full blast! 
Litleo: LITLEO!!!
Flames came out of its mouth again. 
Korrina: This again? Mienfoo! Aura Sphere! 
Daniel: That's it now Scratch! 
Korrina: Huh? 
Mienfoo was focused on stopping the flames, that Litleo began charging towards it, it then lashed out, scratching it. 
Korrina: That's sly! Mienfoo! Use Brick Break! 
Mienfoo slammed its hand down on Litleo's head! Knocking it to the floor. 
Daniel: Litleo!
James: That's all she wrote!
Minun: Mai
Turtwig: Turt! 
Evan: That can't be it!
Daniel: Litleo! Can you go on? 
Litleo began to stand up, it then launched a huge flame attack! 
Daniel: That's not Ember! Thats!!!! Flamethrower! 
Alun: A new move!

Mienfoo was struck! The flames continued to burn it! 
Daniel: FULL POWER!
Mienfoo: MIEEEEEEEEEN!
Mienfoo collapsed to the floor. 
Referee: Mienfoo is unable to battle! Litleo is the winner! 
Litleo collapsed from the previous injuries and bruises. 
Referee: Litleo is also unable to battle. 
Daniel: Litleo! That was superb! Return! 
Korrina: Return Mienfoo! This is so exciting isn't it? Machoke you're up!
Daniel: A Machoke? Okay then Froakie let's go! 
Froakie: Froakie!!!!!
Daniel: Froakie you ready to win this? 
Froakie: Fro Fro! 
Korrina: Machoke use Low Sweep! 
Machoke hit Froakie's legs, knocking it down. 
Alun: Froakie are naturally fast, Korrina is trying to slow it down. 
Daniel: Froakie up you get!
Froakie stood up. 
Daniel: Use Water Pulse!
Froakie launched a water attack
Machoke used Brick Break cutting the attack and stopping it before it caused any damage.

Jude: It's... going smoothly
Clare: .....she is not done yet, but I am sure Dan can pull it off

Froakie's tongue wrapped around Machoke. 
Daniel: Alright! Now it's trapped. Use Water Pulse! 
The Water Pulse hit Machoke, causing damage, its eyes began spiralling all over, it became confused. 
Korrina: Machoke no! Try a Dynamic Punch!
Machoke's head was spinning, however, it managed to punch Flroakie's tongue, knocking it back into Froakie's head, it also became confused. 
Daniel: Wait! What? 
Korrina: Confuse my pokemon, and we'll confuse you! 
The two pokemon began hitting themselves in their confusion. 
Alun: Well this is different.
Sycamore: Can't say I've ever witnessed this before. 
Froakie suddenly shook its head. 
Daniel: That's it! Snap out of the confusion! Now finish it off with another Water Pulse! 
The water pulse slammed into Machoke, KO'ing it. 
Korrina: Awww man! That's terrible! Drat! Okay thanks Machoke, you did your best. GO! Hawlucha!
Hawlucha: HAW! LUCHA!
Daniel: Woah! What's that? Is it a wrestler or something? 
Pokedex: Hawlucha, the Wrestling Pokemon. Possessing an artistic way of executing its moves, Hawlucha takes great pride in their elegance.
Korrina: How could it be?! I'm on my last pokemon! Hawlucha do me proud! Use Flying Press!
Daniel: Flying Press? What's that? 
Hawlucha jumped up, it then flipped as it came lunging towards Froakie from above, it slammed into it, KO'ing it. 
Daniel: Froakie!!!!!! Return, thanks for your help, you were amazing. Okay, final battle, I'm counting on you...
Evan: Who is going to be the last pokemon? 
Alun: Minun would be good here, Hawlucha is part Flying. 
Minun: Mai! 
Daniel: Let's go! Starly!
Starly: Starly! Star!
Korrina: A Starly? Huh! Bring it on!

Jude: A flying type versus a flying type.... seems about... even
Finn:....both right and wrong there..
Clare:.... Korrina`s Hawlucha clearly has much more experience battling, with it`s wrestler style fighting prowess, but, because of that fighting type it's weak to those flying attacks
Jude:....so like I said, about even
Clare: More than just because of their type

Alun: Its quite interesting looking at the typing of both flying types, it actually not that even, like you said Hawlucha is a fighting type, Starly isn't just a flying type though, its also part Normal too, which gives Hawlucha the advantage. 
Evan: Wow there's more to types of pokemon than you think. 
Daniel: Type isn't everything. 
James: Starly has't fought much though, is this really the best idea here? 
Alun: What a better way to get more experience than in a gym match. 
Korrina: Use Flying Press!
Daniel: Starly let's go with an Aerial Ace!
Korrina: Look out!
Hawlucha launched itself into the air, then came rushing down to the ground where Starly was flapping its wings. Starly then shot off out of its spot, Hawlucha came crashing into the ground, Starly turned around and came back, smacking Hawlucha with its wings.
Sycamore: He's using the speed of his attacks to get hits, an impressive strategy. 
Lysandre: But if Starly hasn't had much battling experience, then a few hits and it'll be down, so he's got to use that speed to get the hits in before it goes down.

Korrina: That wasn't a bad idea. But Hawlucha has more in it than that! Use Karate Chop! Constantly! Don't stop!
Hawlucha began slashing its way at Starly, who did everything it could to dodge each swipe. 
Daniel: That's it Starly!
Korrina: Okay then switch it up use Aerial Ace! 
Hawlucha then smashed into Starly! 
Starly: STARRR!
Daniel: Starly!!!
Korrina: Okay let's wrap this up with the move we've been practising! Use Thunderpunch!

James: Electric attacks are super effective right?
Sycamore: Correct!
Daniel: Starly get up please! Use Aerial Ace!
Starly laid on the ground, as Hawlucha came running at it, Starly pushed itself up with its wings and used Aerial Ace to shoot into the sky. It began to glow. 
Alun: Starly must of had more experience than we thought!
Evan: What's happening? It looks like Houndour the other day.
James: Is it evolving as well? 
Daniel: Alright Starly! 
Starly evolved into Staravia. 
Staravia: STARAVIA! 
Daniel: AWESOME! Staravia!

Korrina: That's not fair! 
Daniel: Use Quick Attack, and then use Aerial Ace! 
Staravia came flying down at Hawlucha at a high speed, it then picked up speed even more using Aerial Ace, it shot across the battlefield like a bullet, slamming into Hawlucha.
Hawlucha: HAWLUUUUUCHA!
Hawlucha collapsed. 
Referee: Hawlucha is unable to battle, Korrina is out of usable pokemon, the challenger is the winner!
Daniel: STARAVIA! THAT WAS AMAZING! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!
Staravia flew into Daniel for a hug.
Daniel: The way you evolved to win the battle, that was so cool. 
Staravia: Star! 
Minun and Turtwig ran to Daniel. Froakie and Litleo came out of their poke balls. 
Korrina approached them. 
Korrina: That was such an awesome battle, thanks so much! I'm so pumped up! Please accept the Rumble Badge! 
Korrina handed Daniel the gym badge. 
Daniel: Alright! We got the Rumble Badge! 
Minun, Turtwig, Litleo, Froakie and Staravia jumped up beside him
Korrina: Congratulations! 
Daniel: Thank you, and thanks for a great battle. 
Alun: Well done Dan!
Evan: Awesome!
James: Aye not bad.
Flannery: That was great! 
Sycamore: So you'll be wanting to visit the next gym won't you. 
Daniel: Of course! As soon as possible! 
Lysandre: Then may I recommend Courmarine City gym. 
Flannery: I'll add that to the app for our next destination then. 
Alun: That's an ideal gym, its not far from here too. 
Lysandre: Yeah its along Route 12, which cuts through a few towns, in fact, this is the route where we battle lots of opponents isn't it.
Alun: Yeah, your Litleo evolved here didn't it.
Lysandre: It did, didn't it. 
Daniel: Then Coumarine City it is! 
Daniel ran out of the gym with Minun and Turtwig in tow. 
Evan: Wait up!

Finn: While it was fun hanging around with you guys, we have some more snooping to do
Clare: So for now it's bye but not farewell Daniel
Finn: Stop trying to be so overly dramatic and romantic
Clare: Parting is such sweet sorrow
Finn: Oh come on, now you are just doing it to mess with me

The gang said goodbye to the two men as they parted. 
Daniel: So Courmarine City is next on the list!

Along Route 12, snow had began to set, as the travellers walked along on their way to Courmarine City.
James stopped and threw a snowball at the back of Dan's head. 
Daniel: Oh yeah? *throws one back*
The two young men began having a snowball fight, in which Evan got involved too. 
Alun: Winter isn't winter without a snowball fight I suppose. 
Flannery: I hate this time of year, I hate the cold *wrapped up in her winter clothes* I much prefer Summer! 
James ran through some bushes and trees to escape from the snowballs that were being flung at him. 
A trainer caught eyes with him. 
Trainer: Aha! Another trainer, I challenge you! 2 vs 2 battle sound good to you? 
James: But I wasn't planning on battling.....
The gang emerged through the bushes. 
Daniel: Oh James, looks like you've got yourself a battle.
James: But I don't want to battle. 
Flannery: Oh come on, when two trainers eyes meet, they have to battle, you can't turn it down.
James: Wait? What? Since when?
Alun: Since the World Pokemon trainer rulebook was released in 1996. 
James: Really? 
Daniel: Really really.
Minun: Mai

Trainer: Okay let's start this then, GO Tauros, Zangoose!

Daniel: Two powerhouses! 
James: Squirtle! Chespin let's go! 
Squirtle: Squirtle! 
Chespin: Pin pin! Chespin! 
James: Squirtle, Rapid Spin, Chespin use Vine Whip! 
Squirtle went into its shell, Chespin then struck the shell with its vines launching it towards the two pokemon, hitting both.
Daniel: Ouch! A powerful shot! 
Trainer: Tauros use Take Down, Zangoose use Slash! 
The two pokemon struck the two starters, who shot off into the air.
James: Squirtle! Chespin! 
The 2 pokemon landed far away from the gang. 
James: Hey that's not fair. 
Trainer: Ouch.....sorry about that. 
James ran off in the direction of Squirtle and Chespin. 
The gang followed in pursuit. 



Squirtle and Chespin landed in a nearby town. 
Squirtle: Squirtle! Squirtle! 
Chespin: Chespin Chespin *looks over Squirtle to see if its hurt* 
Squirtle gave Chespin a thumbs up. It then suggested heading back to the forest area. 
The 2 pokemon headed back into the forest. 

James: Squirtle! Chespin!! Where are you? 

Squirtle and Chespin heard the calls of their trainer, they followed the voice, as they ran through some bushes, they arrived at a ranch filled with Miltank. 
The Miltank looked at the two intruders with anger. 
Squirtle waved.
Squirtle: Squirt?
Chespin: Pin
The Miltank then used Rollout. 
A herd of Miltank came rolling towards the two pokemon. 
Squirtle used Water Gun, in order to try and push them backwards.
Chespin: Ches!!!! 
The Milbank's hit Squirtle and Chespin! 
Squirtle: SQUIRT!
Chespin: CHESPIN!!!
Squirtle: Squirtle! Squirtle Squirtle! 
Chespin: Chespin? Pin Pin?
Squirtle: Squirt! Squirtle Squirtle! 
Squirtle began discussing a plan as the herd came rolling towards the two pokemon again. 
Chespin nodded, it then used Vine Whip on the ground, it began to dig a trench in the snow. 
The Milbank's hit the two pokemon again, this time causing more damage. 
The gang arrived on the scene. 
James: Squirtle! Chespin! 
Daniel held James back.
Daniel: Wait, they're sorting out a problem on their own. 
Chespin continued to dig its trench.

Again the pokemon were hit, knocking them to the ground, both feeling very weak. 
James: Why are those pokemon attacking? 
Alun: They're Miltank, and they are very protective of the lands they live on, they must see them as intruders. 
Daniel: Squirtle and Chespin have got this though! 
The two pokemon laid on the ground, 
James: Guys you can do it! 
The two pokemon saw their trainer......they then both nodded and stood up. 
Squirtle: Squirt!
Chespin: Ches! 
The two pokemon began glowing at the same time.
James: WOAH!
Daniel: No way! 
Evan: Are they both?
Flannery: Double Evolution! 
Alun: Its rare, but it happens. 
Squirtle evolved into Wartortle, Chespin evolved into Qualladin. 
James: Who are they?
Daniel: Squirtle is now a Wartortle! 
Alun: And Chespin is now a Qualladin. 
James: Wartortle and Qualladin? Cool! 
Qualladin continued to dig the trench. 
Wartortle then used Water gun in the trench. The snow froze the water instantly. 
The Milbank's came rolling towards the trench at a high speed. They rolled into the trench, slipping on the ice and shooting up into the air, they landed on the ground, KO'ing themselves. 
James ran over to his two pokemon. They hugged him. 
James: Uh....that was awesome. 
Flannery: You guys were great. 
James: They were weren't they. 
Daniel: So you've got you're first evolved pokemon. And you were lucky to get a double one. Not bad for a newbie. 
Alun: Congrats.
Flannery: Bet you could get some great pokemon from these two through a trade though.....
Both pokemon got nervous.
James: I said I'm done with that. 
Flannery: Of course you are. 
James: I am! If these two were willing to evolve in order to get back to me, then I must of built up a bond with them
Daniel: That's exactly what we've been telling you. 
James: How can I trade them when they've been doing so much for me. 
Flannery: Really? 
James: Really really! 
James: Return! Take a rest you two! Now come on! Let's keep going?
Daniel: Sounds good to me.

*Jude watched on* Very quick all things considered..... but impressive all the same

Jude:... two factions... both .... seemingly very different in their desires.... and goals....

The gang were getting closer to Courmarine City. 
Flannery: According to my Nav, Courmarine city is so close. 
Daniel: Excellent. 
Minun: Mai
Turtwig: Turtwig!
Out of a bush ran a small pokemon. 
It stopped in the middle of the path. 
Evan: Aw its so small! Its cute!
The small pokemon smiled! Its cheeks sparked, it then ran over to the gang. 
Daniel: Its so cheerful!
Flannery: Aw I want one!
Alun crouched down to the floor, the small pokemon jumped onto his shoulder. 
Alun: Hey Dedenne! 
Daniel: You know this pokemon? 
Alun: Of course I do! Guys meet my Dedenne! 
Dedenne: DEDEDEDEDE!
Minun and Turtwig ran over to Dedenne, they began playing together.
An older woman stepped through the bush. 
Woman: Ah, so that's why you rushed off. Alun!! I had a feeling it was you. Dedenne only gets excited like it did for that one reason. 
Alun: I'm happy to see you too Dedenne! 
Alun then gave the woman a kiss on her cheek. 
Alun: Well guys, meet my mother! 
Daniel: Your Mum?!
Alun: Yeah!
Alun's Mum: Hello, so you must be Alun's friends that he's travelling with. Bet you lot are hungry! 
Evan: Starving! 
Alun's Mum: Well why don't you come back to the farm! We've got plenty of food there. 
Daniel: Really! That would be great! Thanks so much! And its a pleasure to meet you. 
The gang arrived at a large farm with lots of pokemon. 
Alun: Well guys, this is where I grew up, and some of the pokemon here are some I caught on my own journey. 
Daniel: That's quite cool. I love finding out what my friends have caught over whilst on their journeys. 
The gang arrived at the house, they sat in the dining room, the noticed a photograph hanging on the wall, and underneath stood a trophy.
James: So is that your trophy from the Pokeathlon tournaments? 
Alun: Yes, that's the world tournament, if you look at the photo theres my pokeathlon team that led me to victory.
The gang stared at the photo, a young Alun stood holding a trophy, with Dedenne on his shoulder, Hitmontop and Azumarill stood to his side, and behind him stood a Chansey, Flagon and Typhlosion. 
Daniel: Are these your pokemon? 
Alun: Yeah, that's my winning team. 
Daniel: So do they all reside at this farm. 
Alun: Azumarill and Hitmontop are with me as you know, Typhlosion is in the Johto region, but yes, the other 3 are here.
James: Some cool pokemon you got there. 
A door opened, and in came a short older man. 
Alun: Ah Dad! Good to see you!
Alun's Dad: Nice of you to visit your old man son. 
Alun: Well I'm passing through so may as well. 
The door opened again and in came a Blissey. 
Daniel: A Blissey! 
The Blissey started hugging Alun.
Alun broke free!
Alun: Blissey, I know its been a while, but you know I like my own personal space.
The Blissey blushed. 
Flannery: What a sweet pokemon.
Blissey began to hug Flannery. 
Alun's Dad: Blissey here loves a hug, she's affectionate for sure.
Blissey hugged Alun's dad. 
Alun's Dad: Now now, Blissey would you mind bringing in the food. 
Blissey dashed off into the kitchen, it then returned with fresh food!
James: Looks and smells good! 
Alun's Mum: And theres enough for your pokemon too. 
Daniel: Awesome! Out you come!
Litleo, Frogadier, Tyrant and Staravia came out.
James and Flannery let their pokemon out. 
Wartortle, Elektrike and Qualladin emerged, as did Torkoal and Magby. 
Evan sent out Poochyena. 
Alun: Come out guys. 
Azumarill and Hitmontop came out, they then began playing with Blissey and Dedenne, all 4 pokemon were happy to see each other again. 
Daniel: Ah that's so cool.

*Jude send out his Houndoom*
Jude: Quite a squad you have there Alun a nice group of 'mons

Alun: That's not all of them though!
James: You have more? 
Alun: Of course, I was part of many teams so I couldn't be on so many teams with the same pokemon. 
Daniel: Yeah its the same with me, you have to capture many different pokemon! 
Alun: Exactly.
The gang finished their food, all of them went outside to let their pokemon play. 
Alun: So you've met my main team!
A Carnivine appeared in the tree.
Carnivine: CARNI! VINE!
Daniel: A Carnivine? 
Alun: Well hey Carnivine! 
James: Another one of your pokemon! 
Alun: Of course! 
Carnvine lifted Alun up with its vines. 
Alun: Carnivine! Put me down mate! We've discussed this many times! Personal space! 
Carnivine was happy to see its trainer. 
From a small lake, appeared a Walrein.
Flannery: Another one of yours?
Alun: Walrein! Good to see you! 
The gang also passed a generator area, inside the area they could see a large red and white ball.

"....an Electrode?" Jude guest

"....an Electrode?" Jude guest

Sparks came from the ball.
The ball stopped then rolled out from the generator! 
Alun: Correct! Electrode! Electrode supplies the farm with short bursts of electricity which are powerful enough to keep the electricity going on the farm for a week! 
Electrode: ELEC!
Daniel: That's cracking!
Alun was joined by his Hitmontop, Azumarill, Dedenne, Blissey, Walrein, and Electrode! 
Evan: What a cool collection of pokemon!
Daniel: Sure is! 
From the skies above them, a green pokemon flew at a high speed! It began circling above them.
Evan: Who's that pokemon? 
James: Its the same pokemon from the photo! 
Alun: That's my Flygon!
Flygon began to land by the gang amongst Alun's pokemon, Flygon was wearing a brown shoulder bag.
Alun: Flygon is an important pokemon at the farm, he's the farms mail service! 
Daniel: That's cool!
Flannery: Its quite interesting that all your pokemon have been assigned roles here at the farm!
Alun: Yes, well they are retired now, but they would be bored of sitting in the farm all day that to keep them busy, they have taken on roles, Dedenne is the farms scout, he sniffs out any intruders too! Blissey keeps everything in check, healing the pokemon and also helping with the food, Walrein is important for keeping the farm supplied with fresh cold water, Electrode supplies the electricity and Flygon is delivery service! 
Flannery: I wish I could see Typhlosion! 
Daniel: Same! I have a Cyndaquil myself but it chose not to evolve! 
Evan: A Cyndaquil!
Daniel pulled out a photo from his wallet of him, Minun, Turtwig, Cyndaquil, Swampert, Garchomp and Venasaur holding the Battle Tower trophy. 
Daniel: Cyndaquil is down the front there with Minun and Turtwig!
Evan: WOW! I never knew you had so many cool pokemon!
Daniel: That's just a few of them. I've so many more of them scattered all across a number of regions! 
James: What's the trophy for? 
Alun: Is that a Battle Tower trophy?
Daniel: Yeah it is!
James: Battle Tower trophy? Never heard of it?
Flannery: The Battle Tower is a facility of the battle frontier, which were a number of facilities in Kanto and Johto before merging together in the Orange Islands. 
Alun: But if you've got the trophy, you've beaten the Battle Frontier? Which means you're a Frontier Brain, so should't you be fighting others at your own facility? 
Daniel: Yeah but no! As a Frontier Brain I handed my facility to an old traveling friend of mine who was also my teacher from school.
Alun: Ashley of the Battle Lab? 
Daniel: Yeah how did you know?
Alun: Ashley and I trained together to become teachers, and I know he's now a frontier member, I just never realised he was handed his frontier, I just assumed he beat the frontier. 
Daniel: Nope, he gained it from me. But how weird is that? I travelled with both of you, and you both trained together.....its a small world. 
Evan: Cyndaquil are cute pokemon!
Daniel: Oh yeah, back to Cyndaquil, he's in Johto in a sanctuary.....
Flannery: Didn't you say Typhlosion was in a sanctuary in Johto too? 
Alun: I did, he resides in a sanctuary to protect Cyndaquils. He's helping a leader Cyndaquil there.......
Daniel: A leader Cyndaquil? 
Alun: Yes.
Daniel: The leader Cyndaquil is my Cyndaquil!
Alun: Really? 
Daniel: Yes, and helping them is my pal Kurt. 
Alun: That's it! He's the pokemon ranger looking after the sanctuary. 
Flannery: That's amazing! What another coincidence.
The gangs pokemon played with all of Alun's pokemon until it began to get dark. 
Alun: Well its getting dark, Courmarine City is just down the road from here, we should get going if we want to get there before the sunsets. 
Daniel: Yeah, which is a shame because the pokemon were having so much fun together.

The gang said goodbye to Alun's pokemon outside the house. Alun was inside with his father.
Alun's dad: As nice as it is to see you Alun, I don't understand, why have you given up a perfectly good job and income to go travelling again. 
Alun: Because of what happened to Evan's parents, I want to find them, and Dan reminds me of myself when I was his age, and the more and more we're learning about each other, the more and more I'm thinking that maybe there's something more to it, me and him were supposed to meet, theres way to many coincidences which have led to us eventually meeting. I'm not sure why we were meant to meet, but I know for some reason we were. 
Alun's dad: But what about the job? 
Alun: The job is available for whenever I wish to go back. So it's fine. 
Alun's dad: Well then, if that's the case I suppose its fine. 
Alun stepped outside, Dedenne jumped into him, nuzzling him. 
Alun: Dedenne! 
Daniel: Dedenne seems sad to see you go!
Evan: Its so cute, why can't it come with us!
Alun: Dedenne how does that sound? Would you like to come travelling with us?
Dedenne nodded.
Alun's mother appeared.
Alun's mum: I had a feeling this would happen, as soon as Dedenne could smell your scent. 
She handed Alun Dedenne's poke ball. 
The gang waved goodbye to all the pokemon at the farm as they set out to Courmarine City.

*Jude waved as well, joining the group on their forward adventure*

Jude: I am sure if we try looking hard enough Dan we could rope Clare and Finn to tag along with us for awhile *smirked almost sinisterly* wouldn't that be fun? Clare, paling around with you *he chuckled to himself* or 4 will do just fine

Daniel: 4 sounds good to me!


The next morning, the gang arrived outside the gym.
Daniel: Are you sure this is the gym?
Evan: Its just a big tree!
Alun: Yes I'm sure!
Daniel: Well I trust you! 
The gang entered, they were surrounded by many vines which hung from the tree. 
????: Could it be? A challenger? 
Daniel: Hello? I'm here to challenge the gym!
????: Oh my, well lookie here!
An old man emerged from the vines, holding a stick.
Alun: Dan, this is Ramos, the gym leader! 
Ramos: Why hello there young man! I can't quite believe it! I haven't had a visitor come by here for a long time. It seems no one wants to fight an old man these days, these young folk aren't threatened by an oldie like me. 
Daniel: Age is just a number!
Ramos: That's the spirit young whippersnapper! I'm glad you've come along. 
Daniel: A gym leader is a gym leader and therefore to me they are a worthy challenge, it doesn't matter how old they are. 
Ramos: Aha! 
Ramos jumped up.
Ramos: You've brought life to these old bones. However, I haven't got a referee anymore, it has been so long since I had a challenger that my last referee walked out and I never got round to replacing them. 
Alun: I'll step up to that job. 
Ramos: Oh excellent! Then let's get started how does a 3 vs 3 battle sound? 
Daniel: Sounds good to me!
Ramos: Then what are we waiting for?
Evan and Jude went to sit in the stalls. 
Alun: The gym battle between Leader Ramos and challenger Daniel shall not begin. 
Ramos: GO! Weepinbell. 
Daniel: Weepinbell? Pah! Okay then Staravia is up first for me! 
Ramos: Aha you have the first move you lad.
Daniel: Staravia use Quick Attack! 
Staravia came flying towards Weepinbell. 
Ramos: Sucker Punch!
Weepinbell shot a vine out at Staravia, knocking it completely into the wall.

Evan: How did it attack so quickly!
Alun: Sucker Punch allows the user to attack first.
Daniel: That's no ordinary Weepinbell. 
Ramos: Of course not young whippersnapper, its my one! I've raised him well if I do say so myself.
Daniel: Staravia let's try attacking it with an Aerial Ace! 
Ramos: Don't let it get close, use a Power Whip! 
A huge vine smashed into Staravia.
Daniel: Not a Vine Whip but a Power Whip! How can it be so strong. I can't even get close, its vines aren't letting us break through. 
Ramos: Use Poison powder. 
Powder shot out of Weepinbell's mouth and landed on Staravia, its face turned purple. 
Staravia: STAAAAAR.
Evan: What's going on?
Alun: Staravia will definitely faint in this battle now, its been poisoned, its a ticking time bomb. 
Daniel: Yeah well Staravia, if you're going down! You're going down fighting right!
Staravia: STAR!
Daniel: Use Quick Attack! 
Ramos: Sucker Punch!
Daniel: Now use the speed for an Aerial Ace! 
A vine came flying at Staravia, who managed to spin around it and regain a high speed, allowing it get close and swoop into Weepinbell. 
Weepinbell: WEEEEEPIN!
Daniel: Now use...
Staravia was hurt from the poison. 
Daniel: Aerial Ace!
Staravia shot directly down at the ground where Weepinbell lay, it KO'd it. 
Alun: Weepinbell has fainted! Staravia wins the round.
Staravia was hurt by the poison. 
Daniel: Nice work Staravia! 
Ramos: Ohohoho! Young whippersnapper that was a great experience. But I was only just getting stared. GO Jumpluff!

Jude:....for an old guy he sure seems spry

Evan: Come on Staravia! 
Daniel: Staravia use Aerial Ace! 
Ramos: Bounce Jumpluff. 
Staravia went to dive into Jumpluff, however, it shot up into the air. 
Staravia took damage from the poison. 
Daniel: You can do it Staravia! Just a little longer
Staravia: STAR! 
Daniel: Okay use another Aerial Ace!
Staravia shot upwards towards Jumpluff, who came crashing back towards it. 
Jumpluff landed on Staravia. 
Staravia took damage from the poison. 
Ramos: Use Giga Drain! 
Staravia had its energy drained, it then began spiralling towards the ground below. 
It had fainted.
Daniel: Quick! Return Staravia! You did a good job! Thanks! 
Jumpluff floated down to the ground unharmed. 
Daniel: That was tough! But you know what, flying types are weak to Rock! Go Tyrunt!
Alun: But it hasn't had an official battle yet.....

Jude: All the more reason for it's debut to be an important one
