Pokemon: The Unova Saga(moved from Sega)

"Alright here we go! Oliver use Water Gun!" Justin ordered his Oshawott

"Whirlipede use your Iron Defense!" Burgh ordered Whirlipede as a blue outline surrounded it, increasing its defense.

Oliver's Water Gun pushed Whirlipede back a bit, though it hardly had any effect, making the small Oshawott gasp a bit.

"Oliver don't worry about that! Now charge in for a Razor Shell!" Justin ordered Oliver as he pulled off his scalchop.

Oliver rushed at Whirlipede, holding the energy blade in his paw. As he slashed at Whirlipede, it quickly rolled back. Oliver was surprised how quickly Whirlipede reacted

"Now Whirlipede! Use your Steamroller!" Burgh ordered the Pokemon.

Whirlipede began to rapidly spin with a purple outline surrounding the outer body in a wheel formation. Whirlipede began to roll at Oliver at a high speed.

"Whoa! Quick! Oliver jump up!" Justin ordered Oliver who quickly reacted, easily able to dodge the attack by jumping over it. "Now use your Ice Beam!"

In mid air, Oliver fired bolts of ice down at the Whirlipede though it kept rolling around the Ice Beam. Oliver's Ice Beam created large ice masses on the ground. Oliver soon landed back on the ground and he was struck.

"Wooott!" (Owww!) Oliver yelped as he was flung into the air, colliding into the ground. He took a fair amount of damage from the attack.

"Oliver! Get up! You're gonna be alright!" Justin said to his Oshawott as he struggled to get up.

"Whirlipede use your Solar Beam! The perfect attack to end this!" Burgh ordered Whirlipede who began to charge up a solar between the two horns on its head. By the time Oliver was able to get up, Whirlipede fired the attack

"Oliver! Block that Solar Beam and deflect it back at Whirlipede!" Justin ordered Oliver, knowing his scalchop could deflect the attack.

Oliver managed to pull off his scalchop in time to deflect it right back at Whirlipede. Oliver tilted the scalchop downwards as the beam of light hit, firing it right back at Whirlipede, dealing some damage and pushing it back. The high defenses of Whirlipede decreased the damage greatly though.

As Whirlipede was being pushed back, Burgh had another idea "Whirlipede use your Steamroller with all your might!" he said

Whirlipede suddenly began to use Steamroller into the attack, managing to push through and get to Oliver. Oliver wasn't able to dodge in time and was hit hard by the attack and knocked out.

"Oshawott is unable to battle. This round goes to Whirlipede" The referee declared

Justin frowned a bit, seeing his Oshawott laying on the ground. He walked over to him and picked him up "You did your best, Oliver. Now take a good rest." Justin said as the young Oshawott slowly opened his eyes. He set him down against his backpack.

Oliver seemed a bit upset over his loss, though at least he defeated Dwebble and the battle wasn't over. They could still win this.

Justin grabbed a pokeball and threw it at the arena. "Alright Archen! This is all you!" Justin said, sending out the prehistoric pokemon.

Archen instantly took to the skies as he looked at his opponent. He looked back at Justin briefly, seeing he had full confidence in him. Justin knew Archen had a huge advantage against Whirliped.

"An Archen! I've never seen one up close before. Don't think you can squash us just yet though. Now Whirlipede use your Poison Sting!" Burgh ordered the Pokemon

"Archen dodge it and follow up with Ancient Power!" Justin said as Archen flew out of the way of the stream of needles coming at him.

Archen managed to escape the attack, soon forming a white orb in front of him and firing at the Whirlipede. He fired the orb at Whirlipede.

"Roll out of the way Whirlipede use your Steamroller and attack!" Burgh said

"Attack? How are you gonna do that with Archen in the air?" Justin wondered, scratching his head a bit.

"Just like this. Now soar into the air like a graceful Beautifly, Whirlipede!" Burgh said as Whirlipede launched itself off one of the ice masses Oliver previously created while fighting it.

Archen was surprised when Whirlipede was launched into the air and right at him. "Arr!" (Waaah!) he yelped as he flew right out of the way.

"Archen use your Toxic!" Justin ordered Archen as Whirlipede landed.

"Whirlipede use your Iron Defense again!" Burgh ordered him

As Archen shot a purple acidic spray at Whirlipede, Whirlipede surrounded itself in the blue outline, deflecting Archen's attack.

"Now Whirlipede charge up a Solar Beam!"

"Archen quickly go in for a Wing Attack!" Justin ordered Archen as the beam of light charged up.

Archen swooped down with glowing white wings as it attempted to strike Whirlipede, though Burgh ordered Whirlipede to use Poison Sting as the Solar Beam charged up. Archen was able dodge the attack and strike Whirlipede, dealing a good amount of damage. As Archen hit Whirlipede, Archen was struck by the Solar Beam. Both attacks did enough damage to knock out both Pokemon.

"Whirliped and Archen are unable to battle. This round ends in a draw." The referee said as both Burgh and Justin returned their Pokemon.

"Thanks for the hard work, Archen." Justin said as he looked down at Ty who suddenly had a huge smirk on his face.

"Well done, Justin. It doesn't bug me though that I'm down to my final Pokemon. Leavanny you're up!" Burgh said, throwing out the Bug/Grass preying mantis like Pokemon.

Justin only had one more Pokemon, as well did Burgh. He wasn't worried though, knowing Ty would have a huge advantage. "I think it's about time for you to kick some butt, buddy!" Justin said, smirking at his Quilava

Ty began to let loose some laughter as he prepared to fight, jumping onto the battlefield with a menacing grin on his face. "Quiiilavaaaa." (Oh man you are sooo going down hard!) he said as he ignited his flames

Burgh's Levanny didn't seem to concerned with the fire type, nor did Burgh. "Alright Leavanny start out with your Razor Leaf!" Burgh said

"Ty counter it with Flamethrower and Flamewheel!" Justin told Ty who immediately reacted.

Ty combined his Flamethrower and Flame Wheel to create a counter shield which burned the leaves that were fired at him. He soon uncurled and fired multiple fire balls at Leavanny.

"Oh my! That's new! Leavanny use your Protect!" Burgh said, a bit surprised as Leavanny formed a barrier over itself, stopping the fire balls. "Now use your String Shot!" Burgh ordered Leavanny

"Ty dodge it and use your Flame Charge!" Justin ordered the overconfident Quilava

Ty engulfed himself him self in flames as he charged at Leavanny, dodging the String Shot attacks which kept coming at him. The attack had increased his speed as he got closer to Leavanny.

"Leavanny use your Protect again!" Burgh called out

As Leavanny created a barrier around itself, Justin decided to change tactics quickly "Ty quickly dig down underground!" Justin ordered Ty, knowing what he'd do next.

Ty quickly dove into the ground, digging underground to get underneath Leavanny. Much to Burgh's surprise, the Quilava managed to strike with Flame Wheel from underneath Leavanny, dealing heavy damage to the Bug/Grass type.

"How is this possible!? We used Protect!" Burgh exclaimed, feeling confused.

Justin smirked a bit as Ty did a bit of a victory dance "Easy. The barrier only protects whats AROUND Leavanny. That left Ty able to strike from underneath within the barrier." Justin said, now ready for a follow up as Leavanny got back up. "Now use your Flamethrower!"

Ty jumped up and blasted a jet of fire at Leavanny who was able to jump out of the way of his attack.

"Leavanny use your String Shot!" Burgh ordered his Leavanny, seeing as Ty was landing once more.

Leavanny shot a sticky string that managed to hit Ty, wrapping around his body and immobilizing him. Justin wasn't worried though oddly.

Ty didn't struggle to free himself and he had this grin on his face. Oliver though seemed worried "Oshawott?" (What's he doing?) he muttered.

"Now Leavanny, use your Struggle Bug!" Burgh ordered

A red aura formed around Leavanny and eventually it launched that aura straight at Ty who simply rolled out of the way as Justin just smirked.

"Ty burn the string and use your Dig!" Justin ordered Ty

Ty managed to burn the string and free himself "Lavaaaa!" (You're not gonna stop me THAT easily!) he smirked before he quickly dug underground.

"Leavanny be on your guard! Strike with Struggle Bug again if you get a chance!" Burgh ordered his Leavanny who cautiously looked around, trying to figure out where Ty would attack from.

Ty soon resurfaced to the side of Leavanny and attacked with Flamethrower, though Leavanny was able to dodge the attack and fire a red aura, though Ty dug back underground again, but not before using Smokescreen. A thick sheet of smoke surrounded the area, leaving Leavanny unable to see where Ty would come from first.

Leavanny saw the Quilava resurface and fired a red aura at him, though it missed as Ty dug back underground.

"Ty! Attack with Flame Charge!" Justin called out, really confident they could finish off Leavanny right here.

Ty emerged from the ground once more and began to charge at Leavany, engulfed in flames. He was moving at a very fast pace, though Burgh was able to spot the glow that illuminated from the fire.

"Leavanny use your Protect again and follow up with Hyper Beam!" Burgh ordered his Pokemon.

As Ty lunged at Leavanny, Leavanny created a barrier around itself, knocking the Quilava backwards and slightly into the air. Leavanny then fired a Hyper Beam right at Ty.

"Ty aim your Flamethrower down at the ground to dodge it!" Justin ordered Ty

Ty smirked a bit as he used Flamethrower down at the ground, propelling himself into the air higher to dodge the attack. Leavanny was unable to move briefly as it had to recharge. It was Ty's moment to finish this.

"Finish this with a Flamethower!" Justin ordered Ty who instantly reacted

Ty did a mid air flip before blasting his Flamethrower as his head faced the ground once more. Now over Leavanny, Ty let loose a jet of fire from his mouth, striking Leavanny and dealing a heavy amount of damage. The damage dealt to Leavanny as the flames cleared away was just enough to knock it out.

Ty landed on the ground, crossing his arms and nodding "Lava!" (Now thats what I call a KO!) he said to himself.

Leavanny fell to the ground, unable to battle. "Leavanny is unable to battle. That means the victory goes to Justin and his Quilava!" the referee declared

"Yahoooo! We did it Ty!" Justin excitedly as he ran up to his Quilava

Ty excitedly ran back to Justin, leaping into his arms, laughing a bit. "Quuuilavaa!" (Yeaaaahhh we were awesome!) Ty excitedly said.

"You did excellent Ty! I think you and the others deserve a treat for this victory!" He said, holding his Quilava close to him.

Burgh returned Leavanny after thanking it for a great battle. He walked towards Justin who now had Oliver as well. "That was amazing, Justin. It doesn't even bug me I lost, given your skills. You deserve this. The Insect Badge" he said, handing Justin a jade colored badge that resembled an insect wing.

Justin grabbed the badge proudly from Burgh, thanking him. "Alright! Badge number three!" Justin cheered in victory

"LAVAA!!!" (YEAAAAH WE DID IT!!!) Ty excitedly said, jumping into the air.

"Oshawott!" (I knew we could do it!) Oliver threw in, doing a cute victory dance.

With Justin's battle now finished and the Insect Badge in hand, Justin returned to the group, knowing it was now Ray's turn to face Burgh.

"Good work" Lucy congratulated

Lopunny and Spring run up to Justain and Ty and hug them.

The Drilbur arose from the crowd, sending the Leavanny flying, eventually fainting.

"Thanks" Ray said as he was given the Insect Badge.

"Alriiight! Awesome! Congrats Ray!" Justin said now that Ray had his insect badge. He wasn't sure now what to do since he wasn't sure what time Spring's contest was. He wanted to treat his Pokemon and himself to some Castelia Cone though.

"Good job, you took him down like a champ!" Lucy said

"My Contest is in a few hours, want to get some Ice Cream?" Spring asked Justin.

Ray poked Lucy's side playfully. "How about you? I'm sure they have stuff all over the world here in Castelia City."

Justin smiled at Spring "Sure! I'd love to! Besides I'm sure Ty and Oliver would like some for the hard work! I don't think Archen eats it though..." he said as he began to leave Burgh's Gym

Oliver and Ty seemed really excited for some ice cream

"S..sure" Lucy said almost laughing "We could use a bit of a break"

Spring walks out of the gym. "I hope I can win a ribbon today, You guys did grate."

Justin smiled as he grabbed onto Spring's hand, leading her to Castelia Cone. "Haha! Thanks, sweetie! We can probably try to get in some training before." he said to her

Oliver raise his paw up into the air, waving it a bit "Oshawott Osha!" (I can try to help!) he offered

Ray looked over to the right of him. "Oh look, imports." he walked over to it. "Lava Cookies, Rage Candy Bars... all kinds of stuff."

"though the line sure does seem to be long...." Lucy said "and besides.... I am sure you'll do fine" Lucy said

"I'm going to be using Lora and Austin for this one." Spring told Justin.

Justin nodded as they walked down the street, coming closer to Castelia Cone "Alright! And we'll help you however we can! Haha! I can tell Oliver already wants to help a little bit!" Justin told her

Ty suddenly began to walk ahead of them after jumping off of Justin's back, eager to get to ice cream shop.

"Your right." Ray put the food he had back, and then ordered two ice cream, giving one to Lucy. He took a lick of an ice cream, when memories flowed through his mind, causing a severe headache. "...Must be a brain freeze."

"Just... relax... take a seat.... just let it pass" Lucy said

Spring eats her icecream with her pokemon. 'This is so good!"

Justin ordered himself some ice cream as well as a smaller cone for Ty and Oliver. He sat down next to Spring with Ray and Lucy, enjoying his ice cream. Oliver nuzzled against Justin, showing his thanks while Ty sat back and enjoyed his ice cream

"Good thing this ice cream is cold, were gonna have to go through a desert next." Ray warned.

"Well we do have that contest first.... say... when does that start Spring?" she asked

"yes! we need to leave now, or I will be late!" she started to head off.

"Yeah we should hurry up!" Justin said, though he realized he and his Pokemon still had their ice cream "Meh..I'll just finish it on the way." Justin said as he got up from the bench he was sitting on.

Ray began running as well.
