Pokemon: Unova Journeys (Private)

Sid: Low kick and Smash! *Timburr swept the Pokemon`s foot making it lose it`s balance, then swung it`s log hitting the Pokemon in the head with full might*
Timburr: Bur (Easy)

Meryl: Those are some big Scolipedes...

The 2 Scolipede's used SteamRoller.
Roggenrola and Timburr were thrown backwards.
Daniel: Use Stone Edge again!
More Sharp Rocks rose from the ground.
Dawn: Sid try combining a move with Stone Edge!

Sid: Chip away! *Timburr swung it's log and sped up the attack as it struck the two Pokemon*

The 2 pokemon were angered. One used Sunny Day, the sunlight grew stronger. Whilst the other used Solarbeam!
Roggenrola and Timburr were blasted back by the attack, throwing them to the floor causing massive amounts of damage.
Roggenrola: ROG....
Roggenrola began to glow.

Timburr: TIM!
*Timburr started to glow too*

Roggenrola began to change shape.
Daniel: DOUBLE EVOLUTION?
Dawn: Woah! This is new too me!
Jack: Awesome!
Roggenrola evolved into Boldore.
Boldore: (Goodbye you puny pokemon!)
Boldore used another Stone Edge, this time more powerful than before, its blasted into one of the Scolipede's causing it to faint.

*Timburr finished evolving into Gurdurr*
Gurdurr: *Used Chip away*

Meryl: Two at once? Wow! Nice Gurdurr!
Drilbur: Burrr!

The other Scolipede fainted!
Daniel: ALRIGHT!
Daniel ran out to Boldore!
Daniel: That was great!
Dawn: A Boldore and Gurdurr? *Pokedex*
Pokedex: Boldore, the Ore Pokémon. When it overflows with power, the orange crystal on its body glows. It looks for underground water in caves. Gurdurr, the Muscular Pokémon and the evolved form of Timburr. Gurdurr trains its muscles by carrying a steel beam. With its amazing strength, even professional wrestlers can't move it.
Daniel: I'm so glad you won!
Dawn: Yeah, and thanks for saving Piplup! Piplup, you should know not to run off by yourself by now.
Piplup: (BUT I DIDN'T!)
Dawn: Sometimes I do consider you putting in your pokeball.
Piplup: (But I like roaming around)
Dawn: I'm just kidding! *hugs Piplup*
Daniel: Sid, that was fantastic right? Boldore and Gurdurr! The perfect team.

Sid: Ya the two worked really well together

The gang returned their pokemon and continued their journey.


Several days later, Daniel and Dawn were training.
Daniel: Axew, Oshawott! Attack!
Dawn: Deerling and Blitzle! Keep going.
The 4 pokemon battled it out.
Not long after, dark clouds appeared over the gang's location.
Jack: Odd, it looks stormy, yet the weather had no warnings.
Daniel: We should wrap this up.
Oshawott: Osha
Dawn: Right, guys return!
Daniel: Jack how far away is the local pokemon center?
Jack: It was just over the trees up there, not far.
Daniel: Then let's go!
Daniel, along with Minun, Turtwig and Oshawott started running to the Pokecenter.
Dawn: Wait for me!
Piplup: Pip!
Axew: AXE!
The gang started running quickly, but the storm began. A huge Thunderbolt came down from the sky.
The pokemon center was up ahead.
Daniel: Almost there.
Axew was running as fast as it could, but it was laggging behind.
Jack spotted the troubled pokemon.
Jack: Axew come on *picks up Axew*
Jack ran towards the rest of the group, when all of a sudden, a massive thunderbolt hit the ground besides him, causing the ledge to break and Jack along with Axew fell.

The gang made it inside the Pokemon center. They were drenched.
Nurse Joy: Oh no, you poor souls were out in the storm. Please take a blanket, and feel free to sit by the fire to warm up.
Daniel: Thanks.
Dawn: That's so kind of you.
Minun: Mai
Daniel: Right then, Oshawott, Axew, you don't you rest inside your pokeball. *grabs the 2 pokeballs* RET-......Hang on, Axew? Where's Axew?
Dawn: Jack's missing too.
Daniel: Jack....oh no, they must still be out there.
Daniel ran towards the door.
Nurse Joy pulled him back.
Nurse Joy: Please don't be so reckless. The weather warnings are telling people not to leave shelter at any cost.
Daniel: But my friend is out there, my pokemon too.
Nurse Joy: Then I will send out a distress call immediately but in the meantime, I forbid you to leave.

Jack woke up, with Axew curled in a ball on him.
Axew was shaking.
Jack: Wha.....where am I? What happened?
Jack looked around and saw that he had fallen.
Jack: Oh no.
He was soaked, and the rain continued to pour.
Jack: Axew? Oh yeah, I remember now. I have to find somewhere to stay for shelter.
Jack picked Axew up and ran to find shelter, he eventually stumbled across a cave.
Jack: We should be dry in here.

Meryl: *squeezed the water out of her hair* At least were in numbers. Jack's all alone! Well, with Axew maybe!

A call came through to the pokemon center. It was a local ranger.
Ranger: Sorry Nurse Joy, but its too dangerous out there, I couldn't put the pokemon in risk, you'll have to send someone nearer out there to help.
Something appeared outside the pokemon center.
Daniel: What's that? Somethings out there.
Dawn: Is it a person?
Nurse Joy: We must let them they could be in danger.
Nurse Joy opened the doors.
A big cloud like pokemon appeared in front of the gang.
Dawn: Who's that pokemon? *pokedex*
Pokedex: Thunderus, the Bolt Strike Pokémon. The spikes on its tail discharge immense bolts of lightning. It flies around the Unova region firing off lightning bolts.
Nurse Joy: That's the legendary pokemon Thunderus!

Sid: What is it doing here?

Meryl: A legendary? Just here just like that?

Daniel, Minun and Turtwig ran outside!
Nurse Joy: WAIT!
Thunderus looked directly at them, and then a huge bolt of lightening shot down from the skies.
Dawn: DANIEL! LOOK OUT!
Daniel and Turtwig jumped to the sides, Minun was struck!
Daniel: MINUN!
Minun took the electricity into its body.
Thunderus smirked, then vanished into the storm.
Daniel crawled over to Minun.
Daniel: Minun? Are you okay?
Minun was rolling around on the floor, sweating.
Minun: MAI...MAI.....MAI....MAI
Daniel went to pick him up.
Nurse Joy: DON'T TOUCH HIM
Nurse Joy came running over wearing rubber gloves.
Dawn: Dan, we'll go find Jack. Stay her and look after Minun.
Daniel: Right, please find him.
Dawn: We will.
Daniel: Turtwig, you go with them, whatever Dawn says, you listen okay?
Turtwig: Turt!
Dawn: Meryl, Sid! Let's go!
The trio ran out into the storm.


Jack watched the storm from the cave, his Teddiursa and Cubchoo came out to comfort him.
Jack: It looks like we'll be staying here for the night, this storms going to last all night from the looks of it.
Something from the clouds emerged.
Jack: What's that?
Teddiursa: Ursa?
It was Thunderus.
Jack: Whos' that pokemon?
Thunderus began to shoot lightening into the cave.
Axew: AXEW!
Jack: Teddiursa! Let's give this menace!
Teddiursa jumped outside.
Jack: Ice Punch!
Teddiursa jumped at Thunderus, using its fist.
Thunderus was hit backwards.
Jack: YAHOO! It worked! Now use Focus Punch!
Teddiursa began to charge.
Thunderus fired a bolt of electricity at Teddiursa.
Axew: AXE!
Axew jumped in the way of the attack, taking it so that Teddiursa could keep its focus.
Jack: Axew!
Teddiursa fired its punch!
Thunderus was hit into the trees.
Dawn, Sid and Meryl arrived.
Dawn: AH! Thunderus is here too
Piplup: Pip!
Thunderus flew up into the sky, then disappeared, causing the clouds to clear up and the storm to stop.
Dawn: Jack! What happened!
Dawn ran up to Jack hugging him.
Dawn: Man are we glad your safe. How did you do that?
Jack: Oh! You know, Teddiursa did it!
Dawn: Teddiursa beat a legendary pokemon! That's amazing.
Jack: Oh really. Good work Teddiursa.
Dawn: You don't sound surprised?
Jack: Oh right, this is the first time you've seen this. We used to call Teddiursa as the legendary buster throughout Kanto, Johto and Hoenn. He was usually our gangs last resort.
Dawn: That's.....that's amazing.
Axew: Axe! *weak*
Jack: Ah! Axew! *pulls out some potions* This may sting, but it'll help, I promise.
Axew: Axew!
Dawn: Let's get to the pokemon center.

The gang arrived at the Pokemon Center and explained everything to Daniel.
Daniel: That....that's fantastic! Good old Teddiursa to the rescue. And Axew, I'm proud of you for helping out, it was really brave of you to take the attack.
Axew: Axew
The emergency room doors opened, Audino walked out, followed by Nurse Joy.
Daniel: Minun?
Minun then came running out of the door and into Daniel's arms.
Daniel: You're okay too! We're all here together!

Sid: Should have found another way though Axew...

Meryl: Wow, is Minun for sure alright?

The gang continued on their adventure. Arriving in city, Adella City. It was a special day as well.
Dawn: YAY! Today is our day Meryl! The Princess Festival day! The day when everyone girl in the world is made to feel like a Princess! Piplup can be my Prince!
Piplup: Pip! *stands proudly*
Daniel: Great......the one day of the year I cannot stand. Princess Festival Day. Where every boy has to do whatever a girl tells them. Sometimes I wonder why I get out of bed on days like this.
Minun: Mai
Turtwig: Turt.
Jack: This day was terrible when we travelled with Amy........*shivers* Running from shop to shop, for the best deals. Horrible.
Daniel: I know right.
Dawn: Ha! That's silly, if you think that's bad, remember, this time you are travelling with 2 girls.
Daniel's eyes popped out.
Daniel: AHHH! I FORGOT
Dawn: He! He! He!

Meryl: It's a good thing....Adella Town....has.... a Music Store! *slightly evil laugh*
Drilbur: *hid away from Meryl in fear of being used as a shopping cart*

Dawn and Meryl took the gang to a salon, where they spent many hours there, doing make up, hair, etc. Where as Daniel, Jack and Sid had to sit there, bored out of their minds.
Daniel: Please can we do something else?!
Dawn: NO! This is our day!
Minun: MAI!
Daniel: AWWWWWW COME ON!
Jack: THIS IS TORTURE!!!!!!!!
Turtwig: TURT!!!!!

Later as they head to the music store, with the boys carrying hundreds of bags.
Daniel: THIS IS HEAVY! Hey I got an idea, I can train whilst doing all of this!
Oshawott, Axew, Scraggy, and Pignite came out of their pokeballs.
Daniel: Weight training time!
Daniel and his pokemon carried many bags as they headed to the music store.
Dawn spotted a poster.
Dawn: Ooooooooo. AH! A special contest! A girl only contest for the Princess Festival contest. YAY! All Princess' are allowed to enter, no contest passes are needed. Eeeeee and the winner gets a ribbon which can be used in the Grand Festival! I'm entering!
Piplup: PIP

Meryl: That's awesome! Maybe you can- *she froze beside a huge store, and squeed* MUSIC STORRRRRRE! *ran inside before all of the other's had a chance to even look at the building*

The gang checked out the music store, allowing Meryl to purchase all the instruments and cd's she needed.
Then they headed to the main festival event. The Contest.
Dawn wore a new dress, she dressed up as a Kimono Girl.
Margenta: WELCOME TO THIS SPECIAL CONTEST TO CELEBRATE THE PRINCESS DAY FESTIVAL! A DAY WHERE EVERY GIRL CAN FEEL BEAUTIFUL. TODAY WE ARE KICKING OFF OUR CONTEST WITH A COORDINATOR NAMED LUCELLE FROM NIMBASA CITY.

Dawn stood backstage.
Dawn: Okay, Blitzle and Mienfoo, today is our contest. I'm entering you too, so its time to show everyone what we can do!
A girl also dressed like a Kimono girl approached her.
Girl: HA! How dare you copy my idea of dressing as a Kimono girl! I demand you take that off now.
Dawn: But this is the only thing I have to wear.
Girl: I don't care. *stares at her pokemon* Ha, entering with a Mienfoo? A pokemon built for battling? Ha, you are just asking to lose, it won't last at all.
Dawn: Mienfoo has helped me get to the finals before.
Girl: Well last time you didn't have the delightful Monica in the contest did you?
Dawn: Who's that?
Girl: ME DAMMIT! I'M MONICA! YOU SHOULD NOW!
Dawn: Sorry.
Margenta: And next up is Dawn.
Dawn: Uh, I gotta go! I'm up......

Dawn: Blitzle! Spotlight!
From a flowery pokeball came Blitzle!
Blitzle: BLITZLE!
Dawn: Blitzle use Agility!
Blitzle hopped around the stage, creating miniature sparks on the stage as it hopped and increasing in its speed.
Daniel: Huh? What's Dawn doing?
Jack: Dan come on, think. A contest is suppose to show off all aspects of a pokemon. And that's exactly what Dawn wants to do, she's showing off Blitzle's speed.
Dawn: Now Blitzle Flame Charge!
Blitzle's speed increased, as it was surrounded in flames.
Blitzle became so fast that it seemed to be more than one on stage.
Margenta: Such speed!
Dawn: Wrap it up!
Blitzle then used Shock Wave as it ran around. The electricity forced the flames upwards creating a beautiful display of exploding flames.
Margenta: Its like fireworks! But what do our judges think?
Johanna: Contests aren't just about showing off your pokemon's moves. Its about showing off their abilities, and this is what was displayed here.
Mr.S: Remarkable!
Nurse Joy: Blitzle's speed is one not to be messed with, not only did you show off how cute Blitzle can be, you showed off its speed, smarts, beauty and strength. A beautiful performance.
Margenta: And there you have it! Next up....
Dawn ran backstage.
Monica: You call that a performance? That wasn't good at all. Yawn! Wait until you see a real princess, in all their beauty.
Margenta: Another inspiring performance, next up, Monica!
Monica ran onto the stage.
Margenta: Dressed as a Kimono Girl too?
Monica: I DRESSED UP FIRST!!!! ACK! Pull back the curtains and reveal! Simisear!
Simisear: Simi!
Daniel: A Simisear? *pokedex*
Pokedex: Simisear, the Ember Pokémon and the evolved form of Pansear. Simisear loves to eat sweets, which sustain the fire that burns inside its body.

Monica: Simisear use Flamethrower!
Simisear used Flamethrower and began the flames around, creating a swirl of flames.
The crowd cheered.
Monica: Acrobatics
Simisear's tail threw it into the air and grabbing onto the lighting poles up above. Pulling off all kinds of acrobatic skills whilst the flames continued to swirl below.
Monica: And now! Giga Impact!
Simisear dived into the flames, sending the into different directions.
The flames surrounded the stage, and Simisear stood proudly.
Johanna: Simisear showed off a wide range of skills and used all parts of its body to perform.
Mr.S: Remarkable!
Nurse Joy: A performance which really highlights how happy Simisear is! I'd love to see it again and again.
Margenta: Thanks Monica, and now its time for our judges to decide! Which 8 lucky coordinators move onto the next round.
Daniel: COME ON DAWN!
Monica appeared on screen followed by Dawn and 6 other girls.
Daniel: YES SHE DID IT!
Monica: I'm surprised you made it Dawn, but mark my words, I'll be sure to take you down.
Dawn: We'll see. I have faith in my Mienfoo.
The 2 girls made their way through the contest and into the finals.
Margenta: And there you have it. 2 princesses left. On my right, Monica, on my left, Dawn! Start the clock and begin!
Monica: Reuniclus!
Dawn: Spotlight! Mienfoo!
Mienfoo: MIEN! (Bring it on!)
Margenta: A Psychic type Vs Fighting Type! Interesting match up.
Jack: Oh boy, Dawn's at a huge disadvantage.

Dawn: Mienfoo use Hi-Jump Kick!
Mienfoo jumped into the air and flew towards Reuniclus with its leg held out.
Monica: Psychic!
Mienfoo stopped in mid air.
Dawn lost points.
Dawn: AH?
Monica: HAHAHAHAHA! Now throw it!
Mienfoo was thrown backwards hidding the crowd stands.
Dawn: Mienfoo.
Mienfoo got up. Determined not to go down.
Dawn lost points again.
Dawn: That's great Mienfoo! Now Aura Sphere!
Mienfoo charged up a Sphere, then flung it at Reuniclus.
Monica: HAHAHAHA! Psychic!
The Sphere stopped in midair.
Dawn lost points.
Daniel: S--S---She can't do anything.
The Sphere was thrown back at Mienfoo was lost points.
Monica: HAHAHAHA! Face it, its over, you can't hit me! AHAHAHA! I'll take the ribbon now, save us all time.
Dawn: (What do I do? I-I can't lose to her. I thought I've come so far. I can't lose like this, to not even take off a single point from my opponent. I'd be a laughing stock) Mienfoo use Brick Break!
Mienfoo jumped up and then went to slam down onto Reuniclus, only to get stopped in mid air and thrown again, losing points.
Dawn had a 1/4 of her points left.
And time was down to 1:23 minutes.
Dawn: (What to do...What to do?.......)
Mienfoo looked at Dawn. Then smirked.
Dawn: Mienfoo?
Mienfoo began to focus its energy.
Monica: What is it doing?
Mienfoo used an Aura Sphere!
Monica: Catch it!

The Sphere stopped, then from behind the Sphere came Mienfoo, who launched itself over it, then it leaped at Reuniclus, it hit it, sending Mienfoo upwards. Mienfoo did a backflip in the air, using Aura Sphere from above, the sphere hit Reuniclus, followed by Mienfoo who came crashing down into the blob.
Jack: Mienfoo learnt U-Turn!
Daniel: AWESOME!
Dawn: ALRIGHT! U-TURN! ONE MORE TIME!
Mienfoo used U-Turn once again, Mienfoo leapt forward in front of the opponent, then flew upwards. It then did a backflip in the air and dove down onto the opponent, slamming its head into it.
Reuniclus couldn't take anymore and was KO'd.
Dawn: WE DID IT!
Margenta: Reuniclus has fainted which makes Dawn and Mienfoo the winners!
Monica: WAH? *mouth drops wide open*

Mienfoo, Blitzle and Piplup jumped up besides her.
Dawn: Monica, you should never doubt a fighting pokemon, if their spirits there its sure to win.
Mienfoo: MIEN!
Monica: ARGH!!!!!! *storms off*
Margenta: And that wraps up our Princess Day Festival! Thanks to all the lovely princesses!


Later that day.
Daniel, Jack, Meryl and Sid waited for Dawn.
Monica approached them.
Monica: Tell that friend of yours, I'm going to make her pay. She won't get away with beating me.
Daniel: Sounds like the words of a sore loser.
Minun: Mai
Monica: Shut it you. You'll all pay for Dawn's victory. You'll see, you'll soon be sorry.
Daniel: Okay! You were leaving. Bye bye!
Turtwig: TURT
Jack: Some "princesses" can be real sore losers sometimes.
Dawn walked outside.
Dawn: Hey guys!
Daniel: Dawn! Congratulations! You got the Princess ribbon.
Jack: Well done! You make a perfect princess.
Dawn: Thanks! But so does Meryl!
Daniel: Well then princesses, shall we continue on our adventure.
Dawn: That's okay by me.
