Pokemon: Unova Journeys (Private)

Daniel: WOAH! Sid's using Magmortar!
Jack: We've only seen it battle a few times.
Ashley: Yeah!
Kelgee: But how come? Wasn't Sid always with you guys?
Dawn: There's a lot of things you don't know about Dan and Jack's travels......same for me...
Ashley: You see Kelgee, Sid travelled most of Sinnoh with a different group of friends, we met him in Sunyshore City. That's when he joined our group.
Dawn: Odd! I always assumed Sid was part of the group.
Daniel: Nah, he originally travelled in a group with Mika, although, Mika wasn't in the group for a long time.

Mika: y....ya that's true, but.... why did he bring Magmortor?
Elesa: Sid we should call this….
Sid: Don’t you dare quit on me! *Sid held his hand in a fist* You owe me, I played by the rules, and you had every advantage possible in your court, and you lost fair and square…. Then you turned your back on that and cheated! I won the game and you claimed the prize, you are going to pay for that!
Elesa: I am not Volkner!
Sid: I have had enough of this, Flamethrower!
Elesa: Dodge and use Tackle!
Magmortor: Mortor! *The Pokemon launched the attack one from each hand as Tynamo got closer*
Sid: Spin! *Magmortor then spun around, as the fire did the same, the flamethrower hitting Tynamo and knocking it back*
Elesa: Tynamo! *The Pokemon slowly tried to get back into fighting position*
Sid: Flamethrower! Burn it to the ground! *Magmortor then launched the attack at Tynamo and hit the Pokemon, knocking it out*
Elesa: Tynamo, return, I really think we should end this
Sid: Just shut up and fight me like a man! I have had enough of these excuses!
Elesa: Fine, it that’s how it has to be, Emolga go! *Elesa sent out her second Pokemon*
Sid: Flamethrower! *Magmortor launched the attack towards Emolga*
Elesa: Dodge! And use Electro ball! *Emolga flew out of the way of the attack, and held it’s hand together, and summoned a small ball of Electricity that headed for Magmortor*
Sid: Dodge!
Magmortor: Mag! *The Pokemon tried but was struck*
Sid: Fine, Shadow Ball it! *A Shadow ball was produced, heading at faster speeds than the Flamethroweer*
Elesa: Dodge and use Electro Ball again! *Emolga avoided the attack, this time just barely and then produced an Electro ball which was then launched at Magmortor*
Sid: No more running, Psychic! *A blue aura surrounded the attack, and then the attack flew through the air and hit the wall of the Arena* Quit running!
Elesa: You can’t get us if we run
Sid: Just like you Volkner, try to cheat to win, well I won’t have it!
Magmortor: MORTOR!
Sid: Psychic!
Magmortor: mag! *Emolga was then surrounded by the blue Aura and was held in place in the air*
Elesa: Electro Ball! *Emolga began to load the attack*
Sid: Not that easy! *Emolga was then thrown directly into the wall leaving a dent in it, along with Emolga* Burn it to the ground, flamethrower! *Magmortor followed the attack, and the fire charged through the air
Elesa: Electro Ball! *Qucikly Emolga launched the attack, colliding with the attack trying to hold it back, but the flames broke through the attack and kept on going, hitting Emolga, knocking it to the ground knocked out and leaving fire in the dent*
Elesa: E….Emolga….
Sid: I have had it with the small fries, send in the big guns!
Elesa: Emolga…. Return *Emolga was returned* There is no backing down, Zebstrika! *Elesa’s last Pokemon came out*
Sid: Burn it! *Magmortor began to use Flamethrower at Zebstrika*
Elesa: Dodge and use Flame Charge! *Zebstrika avoided the attack and hit Magmortor, seeming to pick up momentum*
Sid: Burn it all! *Magmortor continued to use the attack, trying to point the flames at Zebstrika, however, it lit the ground on fire, making it harder for Zebstrika to run around*
Elesa: Thunderbolt! *The Electricity was launched from Zebstrika, and struck Magmortor who just continued to use flamethrower, just now leaving a small circle around Zebstrika not allow it much room
Sid: Flamethrower!*The attack was launched*
Elesa: Dodge! *Zebstrika jumped through the flames and landed in a tall tower of fire* Get out of there! *Zebstrika then jumped back into the small confined circle*
Sid: Let’s see you cheat your way out of this one Volkner, Flamethrower!
Elesa: Dodge, then use Wild charge! *Zebstrika got out of the way, landing in the flames, then, charged full force forward towards Magmortor*
Sid: Is that the best this gym can muster? Come on Volkner you are better than that!, Magmortor, Flamethrower!*
Magmortor: Mortor!* Magmortor launched it’s attack, hitting the charging Zebstrika who kept pushing forward while the fires kept hurting the Pokemon*
Elesa: Keep pushing
Sid: End this Magmortor, BURN IT, Take down this guy!
Magmortor: Mag! *The flames picked up strength, which pushed Zebstrika, unfortunately couldn’t hold it’s ground and was thrown through the air, landing in the flames on it’s back, being knocked out
Sid: I….. I won… *Sid fell to the ground* Like it means anything though… nothing changes… *The fire continues to burn, as crew started to put out the flames*

Ashley: Oh dear......Sid.......
Daniel: I don't get it? He thinks he was battling Volkner.....
Jack: That's not good....Sid's crazy.
Dawn: Oh Sid.
Piplup: Pip!
Kelgee: Volkner? He's a gym leader right?
Daniel: Yes, its a long story.
Elesa: Sid, that was crazy. You didn't pull back when I told you to. What kind of trainer does that make you? Here take the stupid badge if it means that much to you. But don't you dare step foot in this gym again. Nurse Joy, take my pokemon to the pokecenter. Now all of you! Leave, Kelgee, come back when you have more pokemon, but do not bring Sid.
The gang were escorted out of the gym.
Daniel: Nice one Sid, you got us thrown out of a gym! What was all that about? It was crazy.

Elesa stood in the gym alone......suddenly a beeping came out of her pocket, she reached in to pull out a device.
Elesa: Hello?.....you were watching? What those were the kids? Right. I hear you..............

The boat set sail! As they sailed off into the distance waving goodbye.
Daniel: So where next?
Jack: Driftveil City, luckily, its a small journey.
Daniel: Great, I can get my next badge in no time.
Jack: And there's a pokemon contests too.
Dawn: Alright, Piplup, we can get our 3rd ribbon here.
Kelgee: That all sounds great, guess I've got some catching up to do.
Daniel: You aren't coming?
Kelgee: Of course not, I've got to beat Elesa at some point. I'll stick around here for a while, maybe make my way to Stiation City. I can't thank you guys enough for all the help, without you, I would be living in a dump still.
Daniel: Ah, its nothing.

Kelgee: I'll see you soon, next time we meet, I'll beat you again Daniel.
Daniel: AHA, we'll see!
The 2 rivals shook hands, along with Minun and Emolga. Then Kelgee turned away and walked away waving goodbye.

Daniel: Well then, now its the 5 of us again!
Jack: Yeah, and Driftveil City is our next destination, the gym leader here is a ground specialist.
Daniel: Then Oshawott and Rufflet will need some intense training for the battle.
The gang began their journey to Driftveil.

The gang made their way West of Nimbasa City.
They approached a draw bridge.
Daniel: A draw bridge huh? Great! Let's get them to lower it for us!
Jack: Driftveil is just over the draw bridge, we'll be there in no time!
Dawn: That's great!
They approach the kiosk, but it was empty, but the sign said it was open.
Daniel: Odd? Where are they?
Dawn: Its clearly not open, so why does it say it is?
Jack: This is odd isn't it.
Minun: Mai *sniffs the air*
Daniel: Something up?
Minun jumped off Daniel's shoulder and ran into a bush.
Turtwig followed, along with Piplup.
Daniel: What's going on?
The gang followed.
Behind the bush was a bowl of pokemon food. Minun, Piplup and Turtwig began to eat it.
Daniel: A bowl of pokemon food in the middle of nowhere? What's up with that?
????: AHA GOTCHA! HIYA!!!!!!!!!!!
A man with big red hair jumped out at them!
Daniel: Woah?
????: Oh, you're aren't wild pokemon? These must be you're trainers.
Daniel: Yes, we are, are you the one who put this food here?
????: Yes, that was me, My name is Alder, you see, the kiosk is empty because the worker has been kidnapped by a group of wild pokemon.
Dawn: Why would the pokemon want the worker?
Alder: Well, you see, the pokemon were all once owned by trainers, but then that lousy Team Plasma began telling trainers to release their pokemon, so that's what they did, the pokemon were upset so they formed a group who cause mischief, however, they wanted to stop trainers and their pokemon continuing with their journey so they stopped the bridge from working so that no one can cross.
Jack: Alder? That name, where have I heard it?

Sid: Doesn't matter, we have to deal with them before we can go, so let's just worry about that

Alder: I was trying to attract the pokemon with some pokefood, that way they would be distracted, so I could rescue the worker. But *scratches head* I guess that one failed.
Daniel: Well then, you bumped into the right kind of people. What we need is a distraction.
Jack: Right, if we can distract the pokemon with a battle, then the others could help rescue the worker.
Dawn: Sounds like a plan.
Jack: Me, Meryl and Sid shall distract. Daniel, Dawn and Alder will then have the chance to save the worker.
Daniel: Then let's do it. But first, where are these pokemon?
Alder: Up ahead, they won't leave the area so we'll have to get them out somehow.
Dawn: Well, why don't we put on a performance?
Alder: What do you mean?
Dawn: Well, if these pokemon have been abandoned we could always make them think one of our pokemon has been released along with an "injured" friend and needs help, no doubt they'll help an injured pokemon.
Alder: Well, I must say, you are brilliant.
Right then lets do this!

Teddiursa ran into the area up ahead.
Daniel, Dawn and Alder hid in the bushes.
Teddiursa walked up to the abandoned pokemon featuring a Cottonee, Patrat, Purrlion, and Munna.
Teddiursa: Ursa....Ursa ursa ursa teddiursa ursa ursa ursa ursa teddi ursa!! (Help! Help! My trainer released me and my friend, we are used to the wild, we hatched from eggs, we don't know how to cope)
An Axew stepped forward revealing a tied up man.
Axew: Axe? Axew? Axew Axew Axew! (An injured pokemon? Of course we'll help, Patrat, Purrlion, Munna, go check it out)
Teddiursa: Ur....Ursa? (Uh, it could use everyone's help)
Axew: (Sorry, its some of us, or none of us, we have to stay here and guard this foolish human)
Teddiursa: (Uh........fine thank you)
Teddiursa led the trio of pokemon to Jack, Sid and Meryl.
Daniel: There they go!
Alder: Let's go then!
Daniel, Dawn and Alder hopped out of the bush and ran to help the worker.
Axew: (Intruder alert!)
Cottonee: (Was that a trick Axew?)
Axew: (I hope not, Prepare for an ambush! HA!)
Axew used Dragon Claw on Daniel's face.
Daniel: OUCH!
Alder: Drats, they didn't get all of them!
Dawn: Daniel!
Turtwig: Turt

Jack, Minun, Sid, and Meryl were fighting off the trio of pokemon, whilst Piplup played injured.

Daniel: What are those pokemon? *pokedex*
Pokedex: Axew, the Tusk Pokémon. Axew marks its territory by making scratch marks on trees with its tusks, which regrow if they fall out. Cottonee, the Cotton Puff Pokémon. Cottonee shoots cotton to distract its opponent when attacked, and travels around wherever the blowing wind carries it.
Dawn: An Axew and Cottonee! They look so cute!
Daniel: Turtwig! Razor Leaf!
Dawn: Go Mienfoo! Use Aura Sphere
Alder went to untie the worker.
Turtwig used Razor Leaf!
Axew sliced through with the leaves.
Daniel: Woah! That's tough!
Out of Dawn's backpack came Trubbish.
Trubbish: Trubbish? *jumps up and down, then winks and smiles*
Daniel and Dawn: NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Turtwig: TURT!??!?!
Daniel, Dawn, and Turtwig ducked!
Trubbish used Selfdestruct, KO'ing Axew and Cottonee!
Alder and the worker were also hurt.
Alder: *coughs* Ouch.
Daniel and Dawn: GO POKEBALL!!!!!!!
The 2 pokeballs hit Axew and Cottonee.
Both pokeballs shook...........then.......CLICK!
Daniel: YES!
Dawn: WE DID IT!
Axew's pokeball was transferred to the PC
Alder: You 2 are quite the team.
Dawn: Return Trubbish......you were.....useful as always. Thanks Alder.
The gang made their way back to the others.
Daniel: The only problem with us having Axew and Cottonee is what happens to the other pokemon?
The Worker spoke.
Worker: I will gladly take these pokemon on, they can help me run this bridge.
The trio of pokemon smiled and jumped into their new trainers arms.
Daniel: Guess it works out well for everyone.
The worker pulled the lever, making the draw bridge lower for the gang to cross.

Alder: Well then, I guess this is where we say goodbye until the next time! You know, Dan, Dawn, when I was you're age, I had a friend who was as close to me as you 2 are, without her, I would never have made it to becoming Champion of Unova! Well then, see you!
The gang's mouths lowered, they looked at each other in shock.
Daniel: No Way!
Dawn: Aha!
Jack: I knew it! I recognised your name from somewhere!
They looked back, but he had vanished.
Daniel: Oh, well, let's continue!
The gang made their way to Driftveil, after an hour on the bridge, they made their way to their destination.

Sid: Glad to be done with Nimbasa,

Daniel: Nimbasa will have a special memory for me, we met Kelgee and got to see Ashley and Mika again. But now I want to introduce Axew to everyone!
Dawn: And I'll introduce Cottonee!

Daniel: Okay guys! Let's go check out the gym and see what's in store.

Daniel and Meryl arrived outside the gym.

They entered the gym and infront of them was darkness, a small light came on, revealing a shelf with hard hats with flashlights.
Daniel, Meryl, Minun, Turtwig and Drillbur picked up the hard hats and flashlights, they switched them on revealing a hole with a ladder.
Daniel: This seems like a cave......I'm guess its rock types. I've seen enough, Meryl coming?

Meryl: Yep! That's a loooong way down... Though Drilbur seems to like it.

Drilbur: Bur!

Daniel and Meryl arrived at the pokecenter.
Daniel had his pokemon infront of him.
Daniel: A rock type gym? Minun won't be much use there, plus I want to give my newer pokemon a chance.
Minun: Mai *looked sad, but looked towards the other pokemons and smiled, then cheered them on*
Daniel: Turtwig would be great use here, but like Minun, he's battle a lot in the past, so I'd like to give the others a chance.
Turtwig: Turt *nods*
Daniel: Tepig, You've participated in the Nuvema and Castelia gyms, plus Fire isn't very effective against Rock.
Tepig: Tepig.
Daniel: Which leaves Oshawott, Scraggy and Rufflet. Guess I'll go with you guys.

Scraggy: Scraggy!
Rufflet: Ruff Ruff. Cheep.
Daniel: Great, then, let's get training, I'll assign you all a training partner. Minun and Scraggy, Turtwig and Oshawott and Tepig and Rufflet.

Dawn and Piplup wondered through the market place.
Dawn: Look at all the things they have here Piplup!

Suddenly she heard people shouting and running passed her.
People: Pokemon from Kanto, Johto and Hoenn??!? NO WAY! I can't believe it! Quick! Let's check them out.
Dawn: Piplup? Did you hear that? Pokemon from Kanto, Johto and Hoenn? I wonder what they are!
They followed the group of people.
???: Charizard Blast Burn!
????: Sceptile don't let it hit! Use your tail to get into the air!
Sceptile: SCEPT!
Sceptile's tail slammed into the ground, throwing it up into the air.
????: Heracross! Dodge!
Dawn: A battle? Awesome. A Heracross and Sceptile. Ash owned both of those, I remember watching them in the Sinnoh league, don't you Piplup? They fought Tobias' Darkrai
Piplup: Pip Piplup!
Dawn: I wonder who they are.
Blast Burn took Heracross down, and the flames burnt into the skies, taking out Sceptile.
????: Charizard nice work! You did good.
Charizard: ZAAAAAAAARD!
Jack walked over to Dawn.
Jack: What's happening Dawn?
Dawn: We just watched a battle between pokemon from Kanto, Johto, and Hoenn.
Jack looked to see Charizard, Heracross and Sceptile.
Jack: They look familiar.
Dawn: Really?
Jack looked at the trainers.
Jack: YEP. They.......are.....familiar alright.
Dawn: You know them? HOW?
Jack: Uh......they come from Pallet Town, oh boy, Dan's going to be pleased.
The crowds dispersed.
The 3 trainers spotted Dawn and Jack.

The trio walked over to them.
Jack: Jamie, Matthew and Thomas. Charizard, Sceptile and Heracross.
Jamie: What are you doing here? In Unova.......you're not travelling are you?
Matthew: You're definitely not old enough to be a trainer?
Jack: Nah, I'm not old enough yet, I'm travelling with Daniel.

Jamie: And we heard all about it when we returned to Pallet after our journeys in Hoenn.
Dawn: Oh right
Matthew: But then, at the end of the day, he lost.
Dawn: But he got to the finals.
Jamie: True.
Matthew: So, where is he?
Dawn: At the pokecenter.
Jack: We'll go take you to him now.
Daniel was training in the pokecenter.
He could see Dawn and Jack returning with 3 other people, who upon closer expection, he recognised.

Daniel and Minun both started shaking and rocking back and forth.

Thomas ran ahead of the others, and ran past Daniel, running into Meryl.

Matthew: The league, same reason you're here, well kinda, BACKSTABBER. Moving out of Pallet to Unova.
Daniel: But its was my mum's decision.
Jamie: Still got Minun and see. And it looks like a bunch of baby pokemon too. Turtwig, Tepig, Oshawott, Scraggy and Rufflet. Such babies.
Dan's pokemon were angered.
Daniel: I'M NOT A BABY!

Sid: Dan, who are these three? *Sid had an annoyed tone in his voice*
