Pokemon: Another Journey

Chris: I sure was excited when I first started my journey with Charizard. It was a Charmander back then and I remember my first day on my journey really well.

Alesha: Ahh, I've always wanted to go to Kanto, and now I get to explore the whole place~
Lucas: Yeah, Let's explore and find Zoroark!
Alesha: We're entering the Indigo leauge too of course!
Lucas: Yeah, Waitwhoawhat we are?
Alesha: Of course, But finding Zoroark will be our main priority of course~
Lucas: W-well alright then!

Martha: So all 3 of you are entering in the league? Should I enter too? Although, I don't particularly like Pokemon battling, especially seeing my own battle.

The group made their way through Route 1.
Martha: This place wonderful isn't?
Chikorita: Chikor!
Martha: So Kanto! The region with over 100 species! A personal favourite of mine has been a Scyther! Its so cute!

Chris: I remember walking along this route, on my way to the Johto region and catching my first Pokemon, a Pidgey.

Alesha: A Pidgey? Is that like a Pidove?
And What does a Scyther look like?
Lucas: I think a Scyther is a Tall Bug Pokemon With Sycthes for arms?
Bonsly: Bon!(Pretty Sure that's it!)
Alesha: And...You Find that cute Martha?

Martha: Sure do! The way the Sycthes shine, its cute little eyes! ITS ADORABLE! And I shall obtain one! NO MATTER WHAT! *flames appeared in Martha's eyes*
The gang continued along route 1 until they reached the end, in which they arrived.
Signpost: Viridian City
Martha: We made it!
There was a large crowd in the city, as well as speakerphones.
Speakerphones: And the new gym leader has just opened the doors to the gym only seconds ago. The reopening of the gym is what us citizens have waited for, for many years.
Martha: Reopening of the gym?

Chris: I've heard about the Viridian Gym, it's been needing a new gym leader for years and now it sounds like they have one. Let's go check it out.
*Chris runs towards the gym*

Martha: Hey don't go without us!
The group ran into the crowd.
Announcer: And now, the new gym leader shall open the gym!
A girl, sporting a white pokemon hat, with a pokeball on it and a blue t-!\"$£$\", with a short red skirt took the pair of scissors and cut the ribbon.
Gym Leader: THE GYM SHALL NOW ACCEPT CHALLENGERS! THE GYM IS NOW OPEN!
Announcer: May the new gym leader Leaf reign in the gym for many years to come.
Martha: I wonder what pokemon she has.
Leaf: So! Who wants to be my first challenger?

"I will!" called August, a tall boy with short black hair and a black jacket. He walked over to Leaf, asking for a challenge. "My name's August."

Leaf: August huh! Well let's battle then! Everyone come on in to view the first battle!
The crowds entered the gym to watch the battle.
Martha: Its like being at a tournement, there's so many people!
Referee: The challenger August is allowed to make substitutions, this shall be a 2 on 2 gym battle! BEGIN!
Leaf: First up for me! Its Clefairy!

"Alright, lets go Nidorino!" August released Nidorino onto the field. "Lets start things off with a horn attack!" Nidorino began charging at the clefairy with his horn lowered

Leaf: Psychic!
Clefairy: CLEFAIRY CLEFAIRY CLEFAIRY! *twiddles fingers*
Clefairy's fingers outlined blue, then suddenly a blue outline appeared around Nidorino lifting it up off the ground and then throwing it into the wall.
Leaf: Heehee
The crowd cheered for Leaf.

Chris: Wow a Clefairy that knows psychic. This could be a problem for Nidorino since it's weakend to psychic type moves.

"Grr..." growled August. Nidorino picked itself up off the floor, ready to keep battling. "Alright, Double Kick!" Nidorino jumped at the Clefairy and quickly kicked it twice in the face.

Clefairy: CLE! CLE! CLEFAIRY!
Clefairy was hit, it lost massive amounts of damage.
Leaf: Moonlight! Heeheee
Clefairy healed itself.
Martha: No fair!
Leaf: No use Meteor Mash!!!
Clefairy's hand glowed white and a sillouette of a golden meteor appears around its hand and it punched the Nidorino. When the attack made contact, star particles came out of the white light on Clefairy's hand.

"No! Nidorino, can you get up?" asked August, worried for his pokemon's safety. "If you can't go anymore, its okay." Nidorino struggled to get to its feet, out of sheer determination he stood back up, ready to go. "Okay, lets do this! Double Kick repeatedly!" Using the last of its energy, Nidorino repeatedly kicked Clefairy in the face.

Clefairy couldn't take anymore, it was KO'd.
Leaf: AH! Return Clefairy, seems your tough, I don't plan on normally doing this, but I can see your strong, so its time to pull out all the stocks. Venasaur! I need you!
The doors behind the areana opened up and Venasaur marched slowly out.
Leaf: August, prepare for my strongest pokemon of all. My very first pokemon, Venasaur!

"Nidorino, return.Well then why not have mine out too." said August with a smirk. "Go Ivysaur!" he tossed out his starter pokemon. "Let's see how this pans out..." he thought.

Leaf: Venasaur use Power Whip!
A huge vine slammed at Ivysaur.

"Ivysaur, dodge to the left and use stun spore!" Ivysaur evaded the vine and released a paralyzing dust over the battlefield.

Venasaur was slowed down.
Leaf: Use Earthquake

Ivysaur couldn't dodge it. It was hit by the earthquake, doing a lot of damage. "Man. That's a tough Vensaur!" though August. "Ivysaur, counter with double-edge!" Ivysaur charged at the slowed Venasaur, crashing into it head first.

Venasaur: VENA!
Leaf: Trip it up!
Venasaur's vines swept the charging Ivysaur off its feet.

Ivysaur landed flat on its back, knocked out. It couldn't take anymore. "No! Ivy!" yelled August, bringing it back to its pokeball. "This isn't good... Go Nidorino!" He tossed the weakened pokemon back out to the field, it seemed a little better than before with the rest it had gotten. "Nidorino, Horn Attack as quick as you can!" Nidorino charged into Venasaur, horn lowered, like it had done against Clefairy.

Leaf: This is over, use Earthquake again!
Venasaur was paralysed, it couldn't move.
Venasaur was then struck by Nidorino's attack. It took damage, but it was able to continue.
