Pokemon: Kalos Adventures

Walter: Psycho cut! *Gallade used the attack again, this time back at full strength, but getting hit by the attack drained him even more*

Turtwig again was struck by the attack, taking damage. 
Daniel: Turtwig! Earth Power! 
The attack made the ground shake and crack, as parts of the ground were flung into the air, creating a great force on the seeds planted on the ground and sending them up into the air and causing them to explode around Gallade

*Gallade fell down, exhausted*
Walter: You can fight Gallade *Gallade slowly got up, but fell back down again*

Daniel: Turtwig! YOU DID IT! 
Turtwig ran back towards his trainers arms
Daniel: Ace job buddy!
James: Not bad I guess, you got some techniques that could be useful I guess. 
Daniel: So....now you keep your side of the agreement! Let the guy go on a journey if that's what he wants to do.

Walter: ...you heard my conditions, he can go, provided you baby sit him
Jude: I do not need a baby sitter

Daniel: What? Baby sit? No way, he's old enough to get on without a baby sitter, but I'll guide him if that's what he wants! 
James: Whoa, you're meant to be showing me the ropes! I don't want him having an effect on that. 
Daniel: Relax James, I can still show you and Guy the ropes as well as this guy.
Minun: Mai!
Turtwig: Turtwig!
Daniel: So what do you say? Fancy joining the crew?
Daniel held his hand out to Jude

Jude: *smirks* you see my options? *he grabbed his hand and got up*
Walter: ....for what it's worth, he can probably mop the floor with your other two
Jude: If you know I am better than others why hold me back?
Walter: ....you are better than beginners, that isn't enough, now, keep an eye on him....
*Gallade looked confused*
Walter: He is strong enough
*Gallade nods*

Daniel: Then welcome aboard. I'm Dan, and this is my partner Minun, and here is my other partner Turtwig!
Minun: Mai
Turtwig: Turtwig!
James: James is the name. And that's Charmander!
Charmander: Char Char!

Jude: I'm Jude, and this is my partner, Houndour
Houndour: Dour *the Pokemon turned his head somewhat distant from the group*
Jude:....he's a softy once you get to know him

Guy: Well. Hasn't this has turned into a merry little group in a short amount of time.

Daniel: Yeah you're right, and knowing our luck, it probably isn't the whole group. Hahah
Minun: Mai mai mai
Turtwig: Tuuuurrrrtwigtwigtwig
Suddenly a group of kids ran past
Kids: Did you hear? The gym leader is having a battle! 
Kid: Yeah, apparently she's fighting another gym leader from somewhere far away. 
The kids ran to the front of the pokecenter, outside stood Viola and her Surskit
James: Viola is having a battle?
Daniel: Let's go see this gym leader then! 
The group followed the kids. 
The gang reached the front, there stood Viola, and opposite her was a familiar face. 
Viola: Surskit, Water Gun!
????: Magby, dodge it!
Daniel: Flannery! 
James: She's......She's....fit. 
Charmander: Char! 
Daniel: Classy James.
Minun: Mai
James: True though. You know her? 
Daniel: Yeah she's a Hoenn gym leader! 
James: Back from my turf? She's perfect! Think you could introduce me?
Daniel: *facepalm*
Flannery: Magby use Fire Punch! 
Viola: Water Gun! FULL POWER! 
Magby ran towards Surskit, only to be knocked back by the water gun and knocked out. 
Flannery: Not bad for your first battle Magby, you were great, return! 
Magby: Mag! 
Flannery returned Magby to its pokeball. 
Flannery: Thanks for the battle Viola, I'm so glad that my little Magby got its first battle with you! 
Viola: No problem, I always wanted to fight against a gym leader of Hoenn. 
Flannery: Thanks, but I'm not the current gym leader, I'm taking a break from that. 
Daniel ran up to Flannery. 
Daniel: Hey Flannery! Long time no see! 
Minun: Mai Mai
Flannery: Huh? Dan? And little Minun too? Well it really has been a while, how are you? 
Daniel: Great thanks, what brings you to Kalos? 
Flannery: Well I fancied seeing the world myself, Grandpa is looking after the gym whilst I'm away. 
Daniel: So you're travelling round Kalos?
Flannery: That's the plan! 
Viola: Hey Flannery, who's this?
Flannery: Oh...oh right, Viola, this is my friend Dan, I take it you haven't met? Dan that's not like you, I would of thought you would have beaten the gym by now?
Daniel: Well *scratches head* we got caught up I guess....
James clears throat. 
James: Hello there, the names James, single? Yes I am, thanks for asking, how you doin' *winks*
Flannery: Uh?.....*looks at Charmander* Oh my! That's the cutest! Its so cute! Hey little Charmander! Oh he's adorable! 
James: Well that's my Charmander! 
Flannery: *looks at Charmander's tail* What kind of trainer are you? That flame isn't exactly big, you clearly aren't very close with Charmander, nor are you looking after it very well. 
James: Eh? What? You're kidding right? 
Flannery: NO. Any trainer who doesn't care for their fire types, doesn't deserve a pokemon in my book. 
James: Oh please. Get real, how can you tell how close I am to my Charmander by the size of its flame?
Flannery: I'm a fire type specialist of course.....
James: Oh Yeah? 
Flannery: Yeah...
The 2 started intensively at each other. 
Daniel: Uh, its getting a bit heated in here. 
Flannery: Oh look at little Houndour, its so cute! And what's that? *picks up Fennekin* Its definitely a fire type! Its so adorable! So so so so cute! 
Daniel: These are also friends of mine, Guy and Jude! 
Flannery: Nice to meet you both, I can see you are both looking after your fire types very well. This makes me happy! 
Viola: Daniel, I take it you are in town to challenge my gym? Well I look forward to it, come by whenever you are ready. 
Flannery: Now that's a battle I'd like to see!

*Houndour seemed a little out of it*
Jude: Just go with it

Daniel: Then sure I'll come along! But I need to train in order to battle, also Guy here registered for the pokemon league so he'll be competing too! 
Viola: Then I look forward to it! Catch you around, thanks for the battle Flannery! 
Viola left to head back to the gym. 
Daniel: So Flannery, you're travelling around Kalos?
Flannery: That's the plan! Sure! 
Daniel: What for? 
Flannery: Honestly, I just wanted to get out the gym, I'm young, I don't want to be stuck in one place, I'd rather go see the world and travel a bit more *pulls out sunglasses* I've got so many places to see! And if it weren't for Magby here hatching from an egg the other day, I wouldn't be here, how else is Magby going to grow and gain experience by staying at the gym? He just wouldn't! So that's why I'm here! 
Daniel: Well that's great! You're always welcome to travel with us if you fancy it? 
Flannery: Really? That would be great, I traveled with you briefly back in Hoenn with Jack, Amy and Luke as I prepared to take over the gym, so it would be great to travel with you again full time! Kalos has such exciting pokemon! I cant wait. 
Daniel: Awesome! Then welcome to the gang! 
Flannery: THANKS SO MUCH!
James: Yeah...welcome....
Charmander: Char Char! 
Flannery: Come on out Torkoal and meet our new friends! 
Torkoal: TORKOAAAAL
Minun: Mai
Turtwig: Turtwig! 
Litleo: Litl! Litl! 
The gangs pokemon all interacted with each other.
Flannery: So Jude, Guy, James? You're all beginners right? Well why don't we visit the Santalune School? Thats a great place for beginners to learn the basics! 
Daniel: Sounds like a good idea! 
James: I suppose....

Jude: Alright, should be fine

The gang arrived at the trainer school, there were children of all ages, with their pokemon, each of them learning about the world of pokemon. 
The gang were greeted by a lady. 
Lady: Welcome to the trainer school, are you here to help with the children?
Flannery: Yes! We are here to help! 
Lady: Oh how wonderful, my name is Mrs Johnson, I'm the headteacher.
James: My mum is a headteacher of a trainer school
Mrs Johnson: How nice! Now I shall assign you all to a different class. 
Daniel: So what will we be doing exactly? 
Mrs Johnson: Well, if you could tell the pupils what its like to be a trainer, or maybe show them your pokemon, maybe show them some new moves, or even as simple as playing with them. Although, there is a class going on a trip today, if someone would like to join it. 
Daniel: Shotgun! 
Flannery: Oh drats!
James: Dang. 
Mrs Johnson: Very well then, follow me everyone! 
Mrs Johnson led the gang down a corridor. 
Mrs Johnson: First up we have children aged 3 and 4. So let's have you miss go in here. 
Flannery: Oh right then, sure thing! 
Flannery stepped into the class. 
Mrs Johnson continued down the corridor with the gang, the next class they approached was a kindergarden. 
Mrs Johnson: Next we'll have you *points to Guy* You'll be in the kindergarden. 
Mrs Johnson led Daniel, James and Jude along the corridor to the next class, here we have trainers who are about to start their journey, would you mind going in and talking and teaching them what its like to start a journey as a pokemon trainer *points at Jude* 
She then continued to lead Daniel and James to their classrooms. 
Mrs Johnson: Right young man, this is your class, ages 8-9! 
James entered the class, in the classroom were lots of children, and a teacher. 
Teacher: Hello, my name is Mrs Smith, who might you be?
James: My name is James. 
Mrs Smith: Welcome, class can we say hello to James.
Class: Morning James! 
Charmander: Char Char! 
Mrs Smith: Now then class, today's lesson is about bonding with your pokemon.
James:.....(Wait, I'm helping in a class, we're I'm bonding with pokemon? Just my luck) 

Mrs Johnson led Daniel to another classroom. 
Mrs Johnson: This is the class that will be going on the school trip.
Daniel: Thanks for your help. 
Daniel entered to be greeted by a male teacher. 
Teacher: Hello, my name is Mr Hughes
Daniel: Hi my names Dan! 
Mr Hughes: Nice to meet you Dan, so you're coming on the school trip today? The class should be arriving soon.
Daniel: Oh that's cool.
Minun: Mai
Turtwig: Turtwig!
Mr Hughes: So a Minun and Turtwig? I'm guessing you aren't exactly from Kalos then, perhaps Sinnoh?
Daniel: Actually I'm not, originally from Hoenn but now I live in Unova, but spent most of my time growing up in Pallet Town in Kanto. 
Mr Hughes: Oh really? So how come you own a starter pokemon from Sinnoh?
Daniel: Well I've travelled through Sinnoh as well. 
Mr Hughes: That's great, I'm  sure the children would love to hear your stories. Here they come now
The class began to fill up with pupils and their partner pokemon.

Jude sits in the classroom, not engaged, but paying attention

The teacher welcomed Jude into the class.
Teacher: Welcome to the class, my name is Miss Anstee! Class say hello.
Class: Hello!
Miss Anstee: Now Jude here is a pokemon trainer, and he's here to tell you all about what its like being a trainer which is what you will all be when you graduate here next week. So Jude, what pokemon do you have to show the class? 
A young boy named Chester plucked up
Chester: I bet he only has 1, he looks like he's only just left here himself. I reckon I could beat him in a battle. 
Miss Anstee: Chester! I will not have you speak to our guest like that. 

Elsewhere, in Mr Hughes class, the children began to fill up the class, a small young boy entered the class, with his shoe laces untied.
Daniel: Hey kiddo! Come over here for a sec!
The boy walked over to Daniel.
Daniel: Your shoe laces are untied, you can't ever go on a pokemon adventure with them untied.
Minun: Mai mai!
Turtwig: Twig! Turtwig! 
Kid: But sir, I can't tie them.
Daniel: Oh? well that's okay, I'll show you! 
Daniel bend down and began to tie the boys laces, then undid them.
Daniel: There, now you try. 
The boy attempted to tie them but couldn't. 
Daniel: Well that's alright no one gets it first time! Here!
Daniel tied them again for him.

The boy then hugged him.
Daniel: Uh....
Daniel had a sense of familiarity, something that he was fond of. He began to think of Jack. And how he and Jack first met, and how he and Minun saved him and his Teddiursa, and then how Jack followed him to Professor Oak's lab, and how he was there when he recieved Bulbasaur and his pokedex. And then how he followed him through Kanto, and was with Daniel through Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Johto again, the Orange Islands and even Unova. But then he remembered what happened in Unova, and how now, Jack was no longer here with him. 
Daniel: Thanks kid.....
Mr Hughes: Right class, its time for our field trip, let's board the bus. 
The class got on the bus and left for the trip. 
They shortly arrived at the field trip, the class wandered over to a pond, which Psyduck and Ducklett resided in. 
Mr Hughes: Okay class, so this is pokemon in their natural habitat. These pokemon are Psyduck and Ducklett, today I'm going to let you feed them, so watch here! *went into his pocket and grabbed some pokemon food, he then lent down with his hand out and pokemon began to peck at the food* Okay so now its your turn. 
The class took their turn feeding the pokemon. The boy with the laces took his turn, he looked nervous, then looked at Daniel. 
Daniel lent down beside him, and put his hand underneath.
Daniel: Its okay!
A Psyduck began to peck at his hand. 
The boy jumped a little, but Daniel supported his hand. 
Daniel: See...there you go. I once had a Psyduck myself. They are nice and calm pokemon.
A Ducklett then barged Psyduck out of the way then began to quickly peck at the boys hand.
Daniel raised the boys hand. 
Daniel: There.....
The Ducklett stopped and walked away. 
Daniel: Although not all pokemon and calm and gentle. 
Mr Hughes: That's right, you see just like all of us, they are all different. Now let's go to our next part of the trip. 
The class walked through a woods, they saw lots of different pokemon in the trees such as Pidgey, Ledyba, Wurmple, Caterpie, Kakuna, Weedle, and many more. 
Mr Hughes: Dan....
Daniel: Yes?
Mr Hughes: That boy you helped, his name is Evan, he's a good kid, but his parents recently disappeared.
Daniel: Disappeared? Where?
Minun: MAI?
Mr Hughes: That's the thing, no one knows. Evan the poor kid, he doesn't realise whats going on, he's staying at the school at the moment, thinking they went on holiday. 
Daniel: That's so sad. 
Daniel looked back at Evan. 
The gang arrived at another pond. 
They began pond dipping where they found lots of fish like pokemon such as Goldeen and Magikarp. 
Then they went over to a green land area.
Mr Hughes: Now this is where pokemon reside in their natural habitat. People who don't own pokemon must be careful that they don't go into the tall grass or else they won't be able to help themselves. Luckily we all do, so today I'm going to show you what happens when a trainer catches a pokemon. So let's go! 
Out of the grass jumped not one but 2 pokemon, a Pansage and Panpour! 
Mr Hughes: Look class, 2 pokemon, sometimes pokemon will attack in numbers. So Dan, will you help me?
Daniel: Sure! 
Mr Hughes: Okay, class watch carefully! GO Furret! 
Daniel: Litleo out you come! 
Mr Hughes: So now class what do we notice? 
Girl: Litleo is a fire type! So its good against Pansage! But not good against Panpour.
Mr Hughes: Correct! Trainers need to watch out for type advantages and disadvantages. So let's begin! Furret use Thunderbolt on Panpour! 
Furret used Thunderbolt and knocked out Panpour! 
Daniel: Use Ember Litleo! 
Litleo KO'd Pansage. 
Mr Hughes: Now we use a pokeball in order to capture a pokemon. Go Pokeball! 
The pokeball hit Panpour and captured it. 
The class cheered. 
Mr Hughes: And that is how you capture a pokemon, the trick is to weaken it first. Now this pokemon belongs in the nature park, so its my duty to release it. 
Evan: Sir! Sir that was really cool.
Daniel: Thanks Evan! 
Mr Hughes: Well class, you've all been good today, let's go to the park and play! 
The class arrived at a small playground at the nature park. 
Mr Hughes: Now is a good time for all of you to play with your pokemon. 
The class sent out their pokemon. 
Evan: Phanpy! 
A Phanpy came out of its pokeball. 
All the children and their pokemon played in the park. 
Evan: Phanpy follow me! Ahah
Evan ran down a small path, where he noticed a small cave. 
Evan: Phanpy look! What do you think is in there? I bet there are lots of pokemon, we could capture them! Let's go! 
Evan walked inside. 


Mrs Smith: So class, we must always remember that the most important thing is a bond between pokemon and trainer. Take a look at James here. 
James: Huh?
Mrs Smith: He has a Charmander, now then can anyone tell me what the bond between Charmander and James is?
Boy: Charmander is happy, but not because of James.
Mrs Smith: Well done Craig. 
Charmander: Char Char
James: What? Charmander likes me! That kid is wrong.
Mrs Smith: Now now, James, Charmander does like you yes, but it wants you to show him the same affection it shows you. 
James: Same affection? 
Mrs Smith: Yes, you see pokemon treat trainers the way they would like to be treated. 
James: So Charmander is happy, just not with me? 
Mrs Smith: Yes. Now class, what do we know about Charmander's?
Girl: That they could be in a lot of danger when their flame goes out.

Jude: ....I'll be honest, you are right, as far as I know, I only have one Pokemon that is true, but..... even then, my Pokemon and I have been through who knows what, and in reality, while I have only really had a few battles here and there, they were against some of the strongest trainers you've ever seen, some of them may be tougher than opponents you ever face *he started to walk back and forth* The Pokemon world itself is in fact big and grand *Jude sent out his Houndour* even in your back door, surprises are something you should expect
Houndour started to growl
Jude: Behave
*Houndour calmed down in an instant*

*Guy nervously sat in a classroom full of small children, looking inquisitively at the fluffy fox in his arms*

"Is so Fluffy"
"Can I pet Him?" 
"I wan im"
Guy: (What. do. I . DO???)

Miss Anstee: I hope you all listened to Jude just then as what he said is correct!
Chester: Yadda yadda yadda!  Miss who cares, can't I just battle him.
Miss Anstee: Chester, no. Its up to Jude if he wants to battle, and I will not have you speaking like that to anyone.


Meanwhile on the field trip. 
Mr Hughes: Everyone line up to get back on the bus please.
The children and their pokemon lined up.
Daniel looked around.
Daniel: Sir, I think Evan is missing. 
Mr Hughes: You're right, I wonder where he went. 
Daniel: I'll go find him! 
Daniel, Minun and Turtwig raced off. 
Daniel: Evan?! Evan! 
Daniel arrived at the cavern. 
Daniel: Would he have wondered in here??
Minun: Mai?
Turtwig: Turtwig! 
Daniel walked into the cave, the cave was lit up by lights and candles along the wall. Daniel followed a track that went along the floor, the cave must have been used for mining. Many Zubat flew over him. 
Daniel: Evan?
Daniel could hear voices.....
Daniel: Evan is that you? 
?????: HAHAHAA! 
????: Not Evan no! A far worse encounter than that! 
Daniel ran further, until he arrived at a opening, he entered a large room, there stood 2 ugly looking teenagers wearing red suits along with a Heatmor. 
Daniel: Who are you? And have you seen a kid? 
????: Who are we? You don't know who are we? 
???: We're the meanest and toughest group in town! And is this what you're looking for? 
The 2 of them moved aside, revealing Evan and his Phanpy tied up. 
Daniel: Let them go! 
?????: Introducing myself! Aaron! Leader of the Team Flare Super Squad! 
????: And I'm Ben! The sidekick of the Team Flare Super Squad! 
Aaron and Ben: And this! Is our Heatmor! 
Daniel: Evan! Don't worry I'll get you out! 
Evan was upset and was in tears, but his mouth was tied so he couldn't speak. 
Daniel: Who do you creeps think you are tying up an innocent kid. You're going to pay for that! Turtwig Razor Leaf! 
Turtwig: TURTWIG!
Turtwig cut the ropes freeing Evan and Phanpy. 
Daniel ran over to him and helped him up.
Evan: I don't like it! *cries* 
Daniel: Evan listen to me buddy, its okay, I'm here to protect you! No need to worry! Minun, lead Evan back to the class. 
Minun: Mai
Daniel: Evan, you need to be brave now, Minun will get you out of here! 
Minun: Mai Mai
Evan: You mean it? *hugs Daniel* 
Daniel: Of course, I won't let no one hurt you. No go! 
Minun led Evan and Phanpy towards the exit. 
Aaron: Sorry to break up this happy reunion, but nope. 
Ben: Neither of you are leaving. 
Daniel: Litleo Come on out! 
Litleo: RAAAA
Minun used Thunderbolt near Aaron and Ben, startling them so that they moved aside of the exit as it led Evan and Phanpy out.

Jude: If that's what you want, we won't have to worry about another Gallade at least

Minun led Evan and his Phanpy back to the class. 
Mr Hughes spotted them.
Mr Hughes: Evan? What's happened?
Evan let out a cute cry. 
Evan: Some nasty people tied me up, now sir is fighting them.
Mr Hughes: What? No....Children, on the bus right away. Drive look after them.
Minun and Mr Hughes ran towards the cave. 

Daniel: Turtwig use Razor Leaf. Litleo use Ember! 
Aaron: Slakoth use Yawn! 
Ben: Phantump use Shadow Ball!
Slakoth yawned which began to made Turtwig tired.
Daniel: Huh? Turtwig you alright?
Turtwig: Turt...
Daniel: Use a Seed Bomb! 
The bombs surrounded Slakoth and Phantump
Aaron: Like that's going to work, Slakoth barely moves and Phantump hovers. 
Daniel: Good point, but all I need is....Litleo Ember! 
Litleo: RAAAA.
Litleo let out a burst of flame which hit the bombs, causing them to explode. 
Slakoth and Phantump blasted off! 
Daniel: ALRIGHT! 
Aaron: UGH. You're beginning to annoy me! Heatmor get in there!
Heatmor jumped into action! 
Daniel: Litleo! EMBER!
Aaron: Heatmor Flamethrower!
The flamethrower shot across the cavern at Daniel and his pokemon, it wiped out the ember and headed towards them. Then from behind, a flamethrower emerged, blasting back at Heatmor. 
Mr Hughes stood with a Pansear who was firing back at them. 
Daniel: Mr Hughes? Woah! 
The flamethrowers battled it out against each other, both pokemon trying to force the other backwards.
Litleo watched.
It then fired an Ember attack which did nothing to the flames. 
It tried again, still nothing happened. 
Litleo: LIT! LIT! LITLEEEEEEEEEEEOOOOO RAAAAAAAA
Litleo let out a great big flame, which collided with the 2 flamethrowers and helped push back the one fired by Heatmor.

Evan sat on the bus, wondering if he could do anything. 
He then got up and stepped off the bus.
Driver: Hey kid you ain't suppose to leave. 
Evan continued but then tripped over his shoelace. 
He scratched his leg and let out a few tears

Evan got up, wiped away the tears, then bent over and attempted to tie his shoe laces. It didn't work, so he tried again, nothing, he tried again. 
Evan: Grr.
He tried once again.....he managed to do the loops. 
Evan: I did it? I did it! I did it! 
Phanpy: Py py py Phanpy! 
Evan: I tied my shoelace! 
He then ran towards the cavern. 

Daniel: Litleo! You learnt Flamethrower! Nice Job!
The flamethrower combined with Pansear's and pushed back into Heatmor, it was outnumbered and struck by the flames, the flames continued into Aaron and Ben, blasting them off into the skies. 
Aaron: I HATE THIS GUY!
Ben: OUCH!
Heatmor: MORRRRRR

Turtwig was sleeping.

Evan: Sir? 
Mr Hughes: Evan? You should be on the bus. 
Evan: Is this what you do sir? You help fight off the bad guys? 
Mr Hughes: Not normally, I'm with you all the time remember.
Evan: No other sir.
Daniel: Me? Haha, sometimes, but its not all about that, sometimes it fighting gym leaders and other tough trainers but then theres times when you just get to chill with your pokemon. 
Evan: That's...that's what I want to do, ever since my mummy and daddy disappeared. I wanted to get stronger. And I know I can. Look, I tied my shoelaces! I did that because of you sir! If I'm with you I can get stronger and find the people who took mummy and daddy.

The bus pulled back into the school.

Jude: Smog *As Buizel approached, Houndour let out a Purple smog that covered the area around him, Hounour jumping in it, Buizel missing him and becoming lost in the miasma

Jude: Howl *Houndour let out a very load Howl, becoming even more confident in it’s ability
Chester: There it is! *both him and Buizel looked towards the Howl*
Jude: Leer *Houndour then intently starred at Buizel, making it lower it’s guard in fear*
Chester: Aqua Jet! *as the smog cleared, Buizel charged at Houndour
Jude: Bite *Houndour stood there, and took the Aqua Jet to the face, winching a bit in pain, but, after the attack ended, he reacted by grabbing ahold of Buizel with his teeth*

Jude: Throw him now! *Houndour jumped into the air, and threw the Buizel against the ground, knocking it out* Recall it
*Chester slowly returned Buizel to his Pokeball*
