The girl with the long brown hair folded her arms.

???: Hilda,though she already knows that.

???: Hey, what's with that bird?

*A blond haired girl and her grass snake begin to examine Skarmory*
???: Ah, to the Pokedex! *She then pulled out her Pokedex*
Pokedex: Skarmory, the Armor Bird Pokémon. Because Skarmory nests in briers and is constantly scratched by thorns, its wings become razor sharp.
???: oh, so you aren't from around here
Sid: No, me and Skarmory here are from Johto
???: Ah, that explains it
Sid: As already said, I'm Sid
???: Oh! I'm sorry *she was blushing* terribly rude of me, I'm Bianca, and this here is my partner, Snivy
Snivy: Snivy! *The Pokemon took a bow*
Bianca: I'm just about to start my journey, and I'm going to be the best um.... ah.... um....
Sid: Not sure what you are going to do?
Bianca: I guess not...
Sid: Don't worry, you'll figure out eventually

Gaynor: Lucas and Sid, nice to see you followed Dan, Jack and Dawn! Now then, Daniel, we're off home now okay!

The 3 mothers left to go back home.
Daniel: Hey guys, I've already got some Unova pokemon! Take a look! Come on out!
Daniel threw 2 pokeballs!
A small dog like pokemon and a chipmunk like pokemon appeared.
Juniper: Aha, Lillipup and Patrat!
Lillipup tackled Daniel to the ground and began to lick him.

Dawn: Something tells me this is going to happen often.
Patrat joined the group of pokemon.
Patrat: Trat!
Daniel: Uh......
Jack: So Hilbert, Cheren! You two plan on being trainers?
Hilbert: Plan? Naw! We are! My goal is to be the best, of the best! No one will stand in my way!
Daniel: Oh yeah! Minun, Turtwig, we can teach him a thing or two right?
Minun: Mai!

Hilbert: What like you did before?
Daniel: Oh......well.........

Abbie: Uh, anyway! Tomorrow the 5 of us set out to reach our goals, we're travelling together.
Daniel: So your all travelling together?
Abbie: You bet we are! Each of us, we'll become the best, no doubt about it!
Daniel: Please Abbie, I remember when you were younger, you had no idea how to battle.
Abbie: Well I proved you wrong earlier when I beat you and Dawn.

Daniel: (If they are heading out tomorrow, maybe I should head out later on, get a head start)

Meryl: Your traveling? I'm doing just the same, I actually got my Gym Badge in Striaton City yesterday! With the help of my lil bud of course. *petted Drilbur* Were heading to Nacrene next.

Hilda: Yesterday? Oh right your younger, I got mine loads earlier.

Hilbert: So, you plan on heading out today Daniel?
Daniel: Yeah we do right guys?
Minun: Mai!
Turtwig: Turt!
Jack: Sure do!
Dawn: I guess....
Piplup: Pip!
Juniper: Well then before you go, here take these! *Hands Pokedexes to Sid and Lucas, along with 5 pokeballs to each member of the gang*
Daniel: You've already got your badge? So you know the way to the nearest gym? I got an idea! Why don't you travel in our group Meryl? You know the way, you could lead us there!

Meryl: Your group? No prob! Route 1 is right north of here, I just need to check with a few things at home first. Be back in a jiff! *Meryl ran off towards her house with Drilbur beside her*

Sid: Well that was a short visit....
Skarmory: Skar!
Sid: Return pal *Skarmory is returned to it's Pokeball*

Daniel: Whilst Meryl does that, we should let our parents know
Dawn and Jack: RIGHT!
The trio ran back to their house.
Daniel: THANKS PROFESSOR, SEE YOU LATER YOU GUYS, Sid, Lucas meets us outside the lab in a bit!

Gaynor: Your leaving?
Sarah: Right now?
Johanna: Well then, why don't the 3 of you get changed!
Daniel: Changed?
Johanna: You each have new clothes for your new journey! Why don't you go try them on!
Daniel: B-B-But I want to leave now....

Minun, Turtwig, Piplup, and Teddiursa waited in the living room.
Jack appeared on top of the stair case!
Jack: I'm ready!
Jack was sporting some new clothes. He wore red puffa jacket, and a green t-shirt. He had stripped trousers which were Black and White.
Daniel appeared, sporting a blue jacket, and jeans. He also wore a hat that from a birds eye view looked like a Pokeball.
Daniel: Mum. It's like you don't even know me.
Gaynor: Why?
Daniel: You know how much I hate hats! *takes the hat off*
Gaynor: FINE.
Last was Dawn, she wasn't wearing her normal hat, and she wore clothes similar to Hilda's.
Johanna: Where's your hat Dawn?
Dawn: Well I figured, seeing as I'm not taking Pachurisu, my hair won't be a mess anymore, its time to show it off! *winks*
Daniel: Right then! Let's go!
Each of them grabbed their backpacks.
Minun and Turtwig jumped onto Daniel's shoulders.
Dawn picked up Piplup and held him in her arms.
Jack put Teddiursa on his back.
Gaynor: Got your pokemon?
Daniel and Dawn reached for their pokeballs.
Daniel: Lillipup and Patrat....check!
Dawn: Togekiss.....check!
Daniel: We're ready!
Johanna: Don't forget this Dawn!
Johanna handed Dawn a ribbon.
Dawn: My Daybreak Ribbon. I almost forgot! My final Sinnoh ribbon. My good luck charm. The ribbon that made me get over my fear *looks at Minun* Now I'm ready.
Sarah: Here take this too! *hands Daniel a wad of cash*
Daniel: Thank you!
Sarah: Should be enough to last you 3 the whole region.
Daniel: Thanks Sarah! Right, Now its time!

Gaynor: They grow up so fast. Daniel has been through 4 leagues, he hasn't won any, yet his dream and ambitions burn on!

Johanna: And Dawn has grown into quite the young lady, she started her journey with so much confidence, and quite full of herself, only to have that knocked out, she understands how to become a top coordinator, its only a matter of time now.

Lyn: Of course honey, just remember, Unova is a different place, they may not be used to it, be sure to look out for them.

Meryl left the house with two tears running down her face, she quickly wiped off when she got to the lab.

Dawn: There she is!
Daniel: Hey Meryl! What took you so long! You're supposed to be leading the way!

Dawn: Yeah! I wonder if there is a contest hall there!
A loud cry surrounded the route.
Daniel: What was that?
Minun: Mai!
Turtwig: Turt!
Jack: It sounded like a pokemon cry!
Daniel: Let's go check it out!

Sid: You ever hear it before Meryl? *Sid followed*

The gang arrived by a river side. As they arrived, they could see a herd of Deerling running away.
Daniel: I wonder where they are off to in a hurry!
Jack: Yeah seems strange.
Suddenly, another cried let out!
Dawn: It sounds like its coming from down there!
Dawn approached the ledge by the river, too she a small Deerling, lying down, it was seriously injured.
Dawn: That Deerling is hurt! We have to help it!
Piplup approached the edge, offering support, but slipped into the water.
Dawn: Togekiss! I CHOOSE YOU!
Togekiss came out of its pokeball.
Dawn: Togekiss, could you lift Deerling up here please!
Togekiss swooped down to Deerling, and put it on its back, it then flew back up to Dawn.
Dawn: Thank you Togekiss, good job. Return!
Daniel: Now what?
Jack lent a hand.
Jack: Looks like its injured in a battle or something, we need berries!
Dawn: Oran Berries!
Daniel: We'll go look for them right guys?
Minun: Mai!
Turtwig: Turt!
Daniel: Meryl, Sid, Lucas, come on let's go find some Oran Berries.

Bonsly: Sly!(Allrighty!)
Lucas: All right!
Zorua, Think you can sniff some out?
Zorua: Rua!(I'll do my best!)

Meryl: Oran Berries might be tough to find, berries don't grow too much, usually in farms around here. But who knows!
Drilbur: *began searching the wilderness for berries*

Somewhere nearby, small white eel pokemon was floating around the area in rage.

Sid: Alright, let's try and get an aerial view, Skarmory go! *Sid sent out his partner*
Skarmory: Skar!
Sid: We need to find some Oran berries, you want to look around for them? *Skarmory nodded and began scaning the area*

The 4 trainers scattered the area in search of Oran Berries!
Dawn: Don't worry Deerling, you'll be fine!
Jack pulled out his book that he recieved from Ashley, he began flicking through it, trying to find out what to do.
Jack: Ah, this type of wound, we'll need those Oran Berries, and then a potion!
He began looking through his bag for potions.

Daniel ran into a forest area.
Daniel: COME ON OUT!
Patrat and Lillipup joined Minun and Turtwig!
Daniel: Okay guys! We're looking for Oran Berries think you ca......
Daniel was tackled to the floor by Lillipup who began licking him.

Zorua: Zozo...(Nothing...)
Lucas: Maybe...we're looking in the wrong kinda place...
Bonsly Sly..(I'd be nice if we could just Dream some up...)

Drilbur was sniffing the air with the scent of berries, while the eel pokemon had noticed Daniel.

Meryl: What could hurt pokemon in a place like here?

Minun's ear twitched.
Daniel: Ahaha! Lillipup, come on! We've got a job to do!
Daniel got up.
Daniel: Is something up Minun?

The eel charged out.

???: Mo!!!!!

Daniel: Woah! Who's that pokemon! *pokedex*
Pokedex: Tynamo, the EleFish Pokémon. While one alone doesn't have much power, a chain of many Tynamo can be as powerful as lightning. These Pokémon move in schools. They have an electricity-generating organ, so they discharge electricity if in danger.
Daniel: So its an electric type! Alright, Minun! Let's fight it!
Minun jumped into battle!
Minun: Mai!
