Lucas:Well since you two are Daniel's friends, I'll let ya join in on this celebratory food challenge.
Alesha: You get free food.

Daniel, Minun and Turtwig already tucked in.
Daniel: MAN!!! THIS IS GOOD!
Kelgee: Uh, I don't think I can eat all of it.
Dawn: Come on Kelgee!
Jack: I'm full already

Meryl: Uh...guys...are ya sure you should be eatin' that much?
Drilbur: *put a barf bag in front of his face*

The gang ate till late into the night. Ready for the next day. Jack decided to go over the rules with them 1 more time.
Jack: Remember, its 4 pokemon each. Only allowed 4 pokemon for the entire tournament.
Daniel: 4? Hpmm. Minun and Turtwig!
Minun: MAI!
Turtwig: TURT!
Daniel: Thought you'd like to give it a shot.


The next morning the gang made their way to the Battle Club Tournament to sign up.
Daniel: My 4 pokemon are signed up then!

Dawn: Mine too!

Jack: And I've got a seat in the stands. I'll be all alone for once.
Teddiursa and Cubchoo came out.
Jack: Looks like you guys will keep me company.
Kelgee: I hope to go all the way!
3 boys ran up to the group.
It was Jamie, Matthew, and Thomas.
Jamie: Well! Look who's entering
Daniel: Oh look! Its you guys.
Matthew: Ready to lose?
Dawn: We won't be losing thanks!

Piplup began pecking Thomas.

Don George: WE'RE GOING TO START THE DON BATTLE TOURNAMENT AND WE'VE GOT A RANGE OF CONTESTANTS TODAY! SPIRITS ARE HIGH SO LET'S RAISE THEM HIGHER!

Don George: Time for the match ups! And the match ups for the first round are!!!
On screen appeared Daniel and Jamie, Meryl and Thomas, Sid and Matthew, Dawn and a boy named Gerald, Lucas and a boy named Max, Aleesha and a girl named Sophie, Kelgee and a boy, Brett and a man, Hilda and a woman and Rebecca and a lass.
Daniel: Jamie! Looks like we're fighting!
Jamie: Well then prepare to be defeated.
Kelgee: Let's do our best
Dawn: Sounds good to me! I can't wait to win.

First Match - Daniel Vs Jamie!
Referee: BEGIN!
Daniel: Go Golett!
Jamie: Scolipede your up!
Dawn: Scolipede?
Jack: Hey, didn't Jamie say he'd trade Scolipede because it lost to Turtwig?
Matthew: Yeah, but we started to realize that trading off weak pokemon isn't that great, and bonding with a pokemon helps us grow stronger.
Dawn: You listened to Daniel?
Thomas: Yes.
Daniel: Golett use DynamicPunch!
Golett flew forwards punching Scolipede!
Jamie: Scolipede don't let it hurt you that much! Use Steamroller!
Scolipede curled up into a ball and then wheeled into Golett, smashing it into the skies and slamming itself into the floor.
Daniel: Golett!
Jamie: Again!
Scolipede continued to roll, slamming into Golett, knocking it upwards.
Daniel: GOLETT! NO!
Don George: This looks like a defeat for Daniel, if Golett doesn't get it chance to attack, it'll be no match for Scolipede.
Golett slammed into the ground again.

Golett opened its eyes.
It stood up.
Jamie: ONE MORE TIME!
Golett began to glow!
Daniel: AWESOME!
Dawn: AH! Its evolving!
Golett began to change shape as it grew larger.
Golett evolved into Golurk!
Daniel: WOAH! *pokedex*
Pokedex: Golurk, the Automaton Pokémon. It flies across the sky at Mach speeds. Removing the seal on its chest makes its internal energy go out of control.
Daniel: Golurk! Stop it!
Golurk put its hands out in front of it.
Scolipede rolled into Golurk's hands.
Daniel: NOW TOSS IT!
Golurk threw Scolipede into the air behind it, making it crash on to the ground.
Daniel: Finish it! Use Earthquake!
The ground shook and began to rise, it was all too much for Scolipede, as it fainted.
Jamie: WHAT? No way! That's his 2nd pokemon I've helped evolve.
Don George: Well what do you know, Daniel and Golett...I mean Golurk wrapped up the battle! Jamie's eliminated!
The crowd cheered
Don George: Next up! Meryl Vs Thomas!

Meryl: Alright! Go Drilbur! *Drilbur hopped into the battlefield*
Thomas: Really? I'm surprised it wanted to battle with the weight it has!
Drilbur: Bur! (I'm not fat!)
Thomas: Sheesh, let's get it over with then! Heracross! *sent out the dark blue beetle pokemon*
Meryl: Wow, what is THAT pokemon? *took out her pokedex*
Pokedex: Subject either unknown or unfamiliar to this database. Please refer to a international model.
Thomas: You don't know what a Heracross is? Oh right, your one of those Unova gals. They don't even know what a Magikarp is!
Meryl: Let's just get this started, ya hear?
Thomas: Alright then, lady. Heracross, Brick Break! *Heracross landed a chop into Drilbur*
Meryl: Let's get back with Slash! *Drilbur hopped back into the fight by slashing into Heracross*
Thomas: Heh! It'll never survive this! Close Combat! *Heracross made a variety of kicks and punches*
Meryl: But now Heracross is softer! Rock Slide! *Drilbur tumbled a bunch of rocks on top of Heracross*
Thomas: Take Down! *Heracross slammed on top of Drilbur, but also dealing it`s own damage*
Meryl: Drilbur, Earthquake! *the ground beneath Heracross trembled*
Thomas: Just wait until it gets hit with....Megahorn! *Heracross charged at Drilbur with Megahorn, but missed, it`s horn stuck into the ground* Wait, what!
Meryl: Alright! Let`s end this with a slash! *Drilbur slashed into Heracross, dealing the final damage, fainting*
Don George: Alright! Meryl and her Drilbur got this one handled! Thomas is eliminated.
Thomas: Darn it!

Matthew: Ah, so Mr. Personality is mine huh?
Sid: Just shut up and battle *Grabbed his Pokeball* Joltik, go! *Sid said sending out the little bug*
Matthew: Sawk, let’s start a roll right here! *Sawk and Joltik were both sent out*
Sid: Electro Web! *Joltik began by sending the electrical web at Sawk*
Matthew: Come on…. Dodge! *Sawk jumped out of the way*
Sid: Stupid dodge
Matthew: Let’s show them how it’s done, Karate Chop!
Sid: Dodge! *Joltik jumped back and avoided the attack*
Matthew: Double Kick! * Sawk launched kick after Kick at the little Pokemon*
Sid: Just keep on dodging!
Matthew: Nice Try, rock Smash! *Sawk hit the arena floor, rocks flying in all directions, some hitting Joltik*
Sid: Recover and use Electro Web! *Joltik was launched back, but while flying through the air regained it’s composure and launched the attack at Sawk*
Matthew: Avoid! *Sawk jumped to the side avoiding the attack*
Sid: Again!
Matthew: Dodge! *Again, the attack was easily dodge*
Sid: Quit running you little brat and face me like a man
Matthew:…. You know, you like to use that word a lot… *Sawk used Rock Smash as once again the attack sending rocks that again hit Joltik*
Joltik: T…tik *the Pokemon slowly got to it’s feet from the damage*
Matthew: Geez this is way too easy, Sawk let’s go in close and end this, Karate Chop! *Sawk jumped at the little Pokemon and launched a karate chop*
Sid: Jump out of the way! *Joltik jumped out of the way of the attack*
Matthew: Double Kick! *Sawk swept once again trying to hit Joltik*
Sid: Now! *Joltik jumped over the first kick, but on the second kick, Joltik landed onto the Pokemon and dug into it’s leg*
Sawk: SAWK!
Sid: Electro Ball! *Joltik launched the attack over and over again, the electricity flowing through Sawk*
Matthew: Pick it off! *Sawk tried to pull the Pokemon but was unable to*
Sid: Again! *Another current of electricity went through the Pokemon’s system, causing more damage again*
Matthew: Frick…. We don’t have much time, Karate Chop! *Sawk held it’s hand and got ready to swing*
Sid: Get off and push off! *Joltik got it’s claws out and pushed off, getting away from Sawk when it swung it’s chop, causing it to hit itself* Now end this Electro Web! *Once again, the electric web was launched, this time at close range, finishing off the Pokemon*
Ref: And Sawk is Unable to battle, Sid and Joltik are the winners!

Dawn: Hey! I'm next up!

Gerald: As am I!

A boy stepped into battle, wearing an expensive suit.

Dawn: Rich Kid......Alright! GO Whismicott!

Gerald: My pokemon shall be Simipour!

Dawn: Whismicott use Magical Leaf!

Whismicott floated into the air, firing out Leaves.

Gerald: Stop it!

Simipour used Scold, knocking back each of the leaves and burning them to a crisp.

Gerald: Now Whismicott!

Whismicott was sprayed with the hot water.

Dawn: Whismicott!

Whismicott: WHIS!!!!

Gerald: AND AGAIN!

Dawn: Whismicott use Whirlwind!

Whismicott used Whirlwind, the boiling water was sucked into the winds, and began spraying out in all directions.

Gerald: Foolish girly. Now both pokemon will be hurt.

Dawn: Think again! UP, UP AND UP!

Whismicott floated upwards, out of the way of the attack, leaving Simipour on the ground below trying to dodge the many sprays of water.

Dawn: Now your above the Whirlwind, use Magical Leaf into it!

The leaves were swept into the whirlwinds, and were then flung out along with the sprays of boiling water.

Simipour tried dodging, but there was so much to dodge, it couldn't.

Gerald: Smart girly.

Dawn: Now it ends! Solarbeam!

Whismicott began absorbing sunlight.

The tornado was so big, it was impossible to see where Whismicott was.

Dawn: FINISH IT!

The Solarbeam ripped through the tornado, and slammed into Simipour, KO'ing it.

Don George: Dawn and Whismicott move onto the next round, eliminating Gerald. Next up, Lucas Vs Max!

Lucas: Okay, Okay, Okay let's GO!
*A rather nerdy guy walk to the battlefeild*
Max: Strife Shall now begin.
Lucas: Ready to go!
*Lucas threw his pokeball and in a burst of Pupitar was on the Battlefeild*
Max: Intresting Choice.
Surksit, let's play a game.
*In a Similar Fashion, Surskit was now on the battlefeild*

*It started to Rain*
Lucas: Use Nightslash!
*Pupitar jumped around before being surrounded by a purple energy and slashing at Surskit*
Max; Surskit, Abscond!
*Surskit masterfully dodged the attack*
Lucas: Don't give up, Keep using NightSlash!
Max: Agility!
*While the nightslash appeared to hit, Surskit dissapeared, Pupitar only attack the after-image!*
Lucas: Wow that thing is fast!
Max: Of course it's not as clever as your Zroua's little trick~
Lucas: Tch, You saw through that?
Max: Seeing the way that Pupitar moved filled me in.
Lucas: Seriously?
*Flashback of Max sitting behind Lucas as he was talking about his plan, off-post*
Max: YES.
Lucas: Whelp, Guess there's no hiding it.
*Pupitar dissapeared leaving Zorua in place*
Lucas: Zorua, Pursuit after that Surskit!
*Surskit skates, Zroua Chases*
Max: NOW, Bubblebeam!
*Surskit quickly turned around and fired a mass of bubbles, directly into Zroua's face*
Lucas: Zorua, Counter with Fury Swipes!
*Zorua popped the bubbles rapidly*
Max: Surskit, Scald!
*Surskit jetted extreme hot water at Zorua's face, it burned*
Lucas: Zorua, Get back at it with Night Daze!
*A pink and crimson forcefield of energy appears around Zorua's body and expands outwards at Surskit...and it was out? The Rain Stopped*
Lucas: That...was it? One Hit?
Max: I Must admit, while I'm well prepared, My pokemon arn't strong...
Lucas: Argh!!!*Lucas fell like a rock in a pond*

Don George: Lucas moves onto the next round.

Daniel: ALRIGHT

Minun: Mai

Aleesha was called up next.

Sophie awaited

Sophie: Me and my Sawasbuck will take you down gal.

*Alesha clicked her neck*
Alesha: I'm not going down so easy!
Ready Mincinno!?
*Minccino was wearing a white scarf, it blew in the breeze before Minccino took a battle pose*
Minccino: Cino!(Ready!)

Sophie: Now way you'll beat us with a small pokemon like that!
Sawsbuck: *Looks high and Mighty*

Alesha: We'll see about that, Minccino, Double Slap!
*Minccino ran on it's little legs and quickly slapped Sawsbuck rapidly*
Sophie: Ha, Sawsbuck, Horn Leech.
*Sawsbuck's horn glew and it swatted Minccino away like a fly*
Alesha: Ah, Minccino!
*Minccino made a sucssesful landing*
Alesha: Okay Great, Minccino Swift!
*Minccino swung it's tail rapidly as stars flew out and hit Sawsbuck*
Sophie: Ha, that attack is week!
Sawsbuck, Continue using Horn leech!
*Sawsbucks horns glew a sparkly green, it then charged at Minccino*
Alesha: Minccino Dodge!
*Minccino slided between Sawsbucks legs, effectivly dodging the horn leech*
Alesha: Swift Again!
*As Sawsbuck skided to a halt a flurry of stars struck it's body*
Alesha: Not so easy is it!~
*Alesha's fang gleamed in the light*
Sophie: Alright, That's it, Kid's Gloves are coming off now!
JUMP-KICK!
*Sawsbucks ran fast and jumped high*
Alesha: Ah..
Sophie: We have you beat!
Alesha: Ahahahahaha~
*Alesha did a posh woman's laugh*
DIG Minccino!~
Sophie: What no!
*Minccino Dug underground, with Sawsbuck headed straight for a wall, In slow-mo, Minccino escaped the ground passing Sawsbuck as it just crashed into the wall*
CRASH
Minccino: Ccino...(Ick, I'm all dirty...)
*Minccino cleaned himself in a flash, before seeing Sawsbuck behind, clearly KO'D, Minccino cleaned him up too, cause he's nice like that.*
Sophie: YOU...YOU...YOU!!!
Alesha: Soooooooorry~~
*Sophie returned Sawsbuck and stormed out of the place*
Alesha: That's a WIN for us!
*Alesha did the V-pose as her fang gleamed*

Kelgee, Rebecca, Hilda and Brett knocked out their opponents.
Don George: The 2nd round, and in this round the match ups are as follows!
Daniel was matched up against a rough neck called Joel, Dawn was matched up against a lass called Sophia, Sid was up against Rebecca, Meryl was up against Louisa, Lucas was up against Hilda, Aleesha was up against a lady named Samantha, Kelgee was up against a man named Jonathan, and Brett was up against a child named Tommy.

Daniel Vs Joel
Daniel: Alright, Minun you're up!
Minun: Mai Mai!
Joel: Interesting, I've never seen a pokemon like that before, however its small and puny which is why me and my Simisear will destroy it!
Simisear: SIMI! SEEEEEEARRRR
Daniel: No way are we afraid of that!
Don George: BEGIN!
Daniel: Minun start up with a Thunderbolt.
Minun: MAI!!!!! MAI!!!!
Sparks flew out of Minun's cheeks and at Simisear.
Joel: You've taken stronger attacks!
Simisear took the attack.
Joel: Excellent, now its an a electric type, the best type of move to use here is a ground type attack, DIG!
Simisear dug underground.

Daniel: Haha, me and Minun have been all over the world on adventures, in many battles, you don't think we'd have a strategy to stop those type of attacks don't you? Magnet Rise!
Sparks surrounded Minun, as it rose into the air.
Simisear came out from the ground, in hope of hitting Minun, but it couldn't reach.
Daniel: Now Thunderbolt!
The electricity struck down on Simisear
Joel: This kids got skill.
Daniel: WRAP IT UP! IRON TAIL!
Minun came slamming down onto Simisear's head, KO'ing it.
Don George: And so, Daniel and Minun eliminate Joel and Simisear!
Daniel: WE DID IT!
Daniel and Minun began to do a victory dance.

Dawn Vs Sophia
Dawn: So now its my turn! Let's go Mienfoo!
Sophia: I choose my Simipour!
Dawn: Simipour! Alright, let's not hold back.
Don George: BEGIN!
Sophia: Simipour SCALD!
Dawn: Mienfoo, lets dodge it and use Hi-Jump Kick!
Mienfoo took into the air, moving out of the way of the attack.
Sophia: Not getting out of it that easy!
Simisear lifted it head up, firing the attack into the air, slamming into Mienfoo and burning it, knocking it to the floor.
Dawn: AH! Mienfoo!
Mienfoo got up, taking damage from the burn.
Dawn: Great work, now that we are on a limit amount of time before you faint, let's wrap things up quickly! Aura Sphere!
Mienfoo fired its blue ball at Simipour!
Sophia: Counter with Hydro Pump!
The powerful water attack destroyed the Aura Sphere.
Dawn: Yikes! Looks like its got us beat, we can't hit from a far, and can't get close enough to attack.
Sophia: Hydro Pump!

The Hydro Pump grew closer!
Dawn: Now start running!
Mienfoo ran forward.
Dawn: BRICK BREAK!
Just as Mienfoo was about to get hit, it used Brick Break, managing to send Hydro Pump into different directions, creating an opening.
Dawn: Bombard it! Aura Sphere!
Simipour was hit by Aura Sphere!
Dawn: AND NOW!
Mienfoo began to focus, as stones rose from the ground, they dagger-ed into Simipour, Ko'ing it.
Dawn: Yipee!
Don George: And that's Dawn moving onwards, up next Sid Vs Rebecca!

Rebecca: Let's go! Patrat!

Sid: Servine.... go! *Sid sent out his Snake Pokemon*

Don George: BEGIN!
Rebecca: Patrat, Hypnosis!

Sid: Look away! *Servine tried, but was caught, in the sight*
Servine: Se... *the Pokemon drifted to sleep*
Sid: Come on, wake up!

Rebecca: Good, now's the time to strike! Hyper Fang!
Patrat latched onto Servine!

Servine opened it's eyes in pain, waking up
Sid: Quick!, Leaf Tornado *Servine spun around, summoning a storm on the latched on Pokemon*

Patrat was thrown into the air, as leaves were slicing at it.
Rebecca: NO! Patrat use Thunderbolt!
Sparks flew out of the tornado, countering out the leaves.
Patrat landed firmly on the ground.
Dawn: Woah, Rebecca is using her contest skills to help her.
Rebecca: And now! Hypnosis!

Sid: Vine Whip, two of them, now! *Servine sent out two vines, one charging to Patrat, and the other one used to cover it's own eyes once it saw vine whip was heading in the right direction*

Rebecca: Underground! Dig!
Patrat quickly went under the ground as the Vine came towards it, it then popped out under Servine.
