(Super) Tokai - Land of Tomorrow

Current Characters and Teams



Welcome, to the land of Tokai, it has been 20 years since the previous group of heroes journey began, and the passage of time has changed the world of Pokémon as we know it. However, this is not the story of the heroes of yesterday, no, it is the heroes of tomorrow, challenging the gym leaders, villains and rivals of tomorrow. Welcome, to a brand new land, a region like nothing you’ve seen before, we join our heroes as they begin their journey in Youngsprout town, as they go to meet Prof. Maple, the first stop on their way to greatness

Rules:
- This RP takes place in the future, and since these are NEW heroes, you cannot use characters you’ve used in other RPs as your main character, or as part of the group
- This is a reboot of the previous Tokai, which has been inactive for a prolonged period
- Your trainer is JUST starting out and they are going to Prof. Maple to get their first Pokemon, so, currently possess no Pokémon
- No God modding, if at any time you control another person’s character without permission, you will be punished in some way for it
- To prevent your character from lagging us back, or from just disappearing from the records, if you fail to make a post within a 4 week period, you give control of your character to me, as I will write them off in a manner that is appropriate to them, and leads the possibilities for them to return
- Your character must be willing to lose, seeing as the league is the most difficult part when it comes to this, you MUST be willing for your character to fall to any other players main characters or rivals
- Catching of legendaries are prohibited for the main characters and rivals, as whoever has one throws the balance off
- In the main cast there can be no Repeats, unless there is a story behind the repeats, there are #649 Pokemon, this shouldn’t be a difficult task
- Main characters from Tunik cannot be used as characters in this RP
- Side Characters from Tunik cannot be used as main characters in this RP
- Characters from Unova Journeys, New Generations, Gym Leader Academy (Any incarnation), The Unova Saga or the Resurrection of Hoenn or any related RPs cannot be used as a main character in this RP, they can only be used as side characters. As these characters are older, it makes no sense for them to be the main characters
- An application does not equal acceptance
- There is up to a possible 7 main characters
- That doesn't mean 7 is the guarenteed number
- I reserve the right to reject an application.... sorta goes with the limiting, I will give a few possibilities, either accepted, rejected or needs improvement (needs improvement means I didn't accept the character, but I like the basic idea, I feel there is a bit improvement that can be done before the character is accepted

She is quite unorganized and is often quite clumsy, but don`t let that fool you, she is Tokai`s brightest,

Bio: A young trainer just starting his journey, his goal is to surpass his sister, and hopefully some day become a Pokémon master, until then, he and his partner are going to just explore Tokai, learn about the world in front of them and hopefully meet new friends, Pokémon and people alike on the way. He is the son of the chief of police and an ex-museum curator,

Bio: Caspian had been built for water from birth, equipped with various survival skills that he discovered by observing the native pokemon. With his multiple golden tridents at hand, he is prepared for any endeavor that he comes face to face with. Unfortunately, he and his Lapras will need these skills.

Bio: Has started out a few months ahead of her brother, but decided to hang around town in order to get to compete with her brother. Her goal is to become the champion of the region, and based on her brash nature, competitive spirit, and her own level of thinking she`s superior, she might have a chance

Bio: The youngest detective of the Police force, being a junior detective, and son of a police officer. Already a mystery solving machine, his goals include being the next head of police and to prove himself as a capable trainer to do that, so in order to do that, he decided to take part in the league, and has developed a rivalry with the chief of polices daughter

Bio: A rich boy, always seeming to rely on others when possible, but do not let this fool you, he is not afraid to get his hands dirty. A very tactical trainer when it comes to it, he knows how to battle, and well at that. Overall, while he prefers others do the work, he will throw a hand when necessary. He has a strong distaste for two things, one those who claim his life is easy, and two for his father, a CEO feared by his underlings

Age: 12
Bio: A modern day witch, this trainer constantly talks about the mystic world, people’s “auras” and many other mystical items. She seems to have an affinity to both the shapes of circles and stars, she likes to utilize her magic to test and practice on her rivals. She can always be seen with her broom and pointed hat. She is quite eccentric and outgoing and will challenge anyone who questions the validity of her magic

Bio: Originally a student of GLA, he has moved to Tokai upon graduating and became Dotat Cresent`s gym leader, he is a very cold and distant man, keeping his emotions under wrapped and generally shows great distaste for the concept of romance in particular, although he refuses to say why

Pokemon: Fearow, Farfetch’d, Togekiss

Type Flying
Age: late 20-early 30
Bio: A complete airhead, being oblivious to the world around her, she currently works at the casino as well as the gym. She has had family being gym leaders, and overall does have her roots in Tokai. Despite her air headedness, she does have moments of enlightened, and when it`s something of great importance, she will absorb all information about it

Name: Nicholas
Pokemon: Mawile, Magneton, Skarmory, and Metang
Role: Gym Leader (5)
Type: Steel
Age: 15
Bio: Orphaned at age 4, he moved into Fullchrome Isle's orphanage. He spent most of his free time catching and training his Pokemon. Eventually though, he became consumed with the orphanage and eventually was known as the "older brother" of the orphanage. Recently though, he has also been put in charge of the gym, and currently seems to have little to no spare time

Pokemon: Glaceon, Jynx, Vanilluxe, Dewgong, Delibird, Froslass

Age: 30ish
Bio: Originally a student of the Gym Leader Academy, but, after some terrible behavior and being humiliated by a student named Wilma, she was expelled from the school. She began to train to become a gym leader on her own accord, but never achieve it, however, she did achieve the role of Elite Four. She now has a deep hatred for the girl who humiliated her, and tries to insult her rival every chance she gets

Bio: A woman shrouded in mystery, a woman who seems to be the leader of the trio of villians, over all.

Bio: The muscle of the group, but don’t let his size confuse you, he is also the groups Pokemon biology expert.

Bio: Out of the three masked trainers, the one who seems to have the greatest sense of honor, though is still dedicated to the groups cause….. whatever that might be.

(Note, these three have stories, more just as masked their identities are secretive)



“And….. wait….” The professor said looking at her desk “….here…. we have it, 20 years ago… the bird appeared in Johto…. And has appeared many times, the sightings in the Whirl Islands have been on the rise, and then there was that incident in the Orange Islands…” the Professor said, looking at all the pictures… of the locations “yet….. again, another one of the “Mirage” Pokemon seem to escape the gaze of any photographers…” Professor Maple said “All… on file is the artist’s drawing of it…” she took all the photos and put in an overstuffed folder, pulling out another “then there is this one…. One of the few ever captured on film… Brandon usually didn’t allow anyone to get a film from his Pokemon battles, but someone managed to sneak in a camera….” She said looking at the picture of Regirock “and…. That Birch researcher managed to find the ruins of that Pokemon…. Out at the desert luckily” she said pulling out a back of photos from the their package and added them to the overstuffed Regirock file she had

The lab door opened

“Oh, you must be the new tra….” She started when she saw the faces of the guests, three adults, each wearing a mask



“Hand over your research on Legendary Pokemon” The woman in the middle demanded

“I….I don’t know what you are talking about” she denied, trying to play dumb

“Then your research into “Mirage Pokemon” as you call them" the muscle of the group elaborated

“N….no, I refuse to give you my life’s work!” she protested

“Play nice…..” the girl of the masked trainers reasoned, sending out her Persian “And things won’t get ugly here”

The Professor didn’t say a word, just sending out her Hitmonchan

“So you want to play huh? Slash it good” Rupee ordered, her Persian charging at Hitmonchan

“Ice Punch!” The Professor countered, Hitmonchan hitting Persian’s claw, getting slashed from the attack, while the Persian’s claw was encased in ice

“Hey…. It’s opened….” Owen said, looking at the open lab door, heading inside

Age: 13
Bio: Luke is the son of Lucas, he was born in Sinnoh and was given Meinfoo as a Starter, He is hot-headed and quick thinking, like his father he has psychic abilitys, His are alot milder though, he can understand pokemon and even produce a small amount of element of his palm, it's nothing impressive, his quiff has been twined into a drill that reacts with his emotcions, he wants to be a master trainer.

Age: 13
Bio: Keira is the Daughter of Lucas's Rival Klaus she was born in Sinnoh, where she found a Gothita at a young age, who became her starter, she is level headed and straightforward, she uses her Psychic Powers often and questions any phenomenal activity that's is not related to it, like her starter she's a Goth sense of style.

Age: 17
Bio: Farm Boy Heath often thought about travelling from the farm with his prized Miltank, but it was only recently he decided to go out into the world, he claims his "Precious Thing" was stolen from him and he intended to find the culprit, what exactly his "Precious Thing" or who did it is Unknown, He get's quickly bored with slow paced things and prefers to rush on in and confident about his ability's.

Role: Rival
Age: 15
Bio: A strange Boy from parts unknown, He has questionable tastes and he says his name Chrome but is he telling the truth? His Starter Pokemon is Onix but the pokemon uses to fight with is a Hitmonchan, Under his cool-guy facade He's actually quite childish, prone to jealousy, and exhibits possessive tendencies.

Name: Milly 'Kitten' Season
Pokemon: Meowth
Roll: Main Character
Family: Mother- Lat Taiga Father
Age: 12
Bio: a fun loving and seer girl. shee has cat ears and tail, along with her personality have earn her the nickname kitten. She loves cat and ghost type pokemon, and she wishes to become a magician. She knows some tricks, but isn't dealt good at other stuff. She does contest battles as a way to learn flashy moves for her magic show.

Bio: A fly boy at heart. He gave Milly her nickname as an insult, but was enraged that she loved it and kept it. He hates Milly becase he thinks she is overly nice and over cheerful. He loves the sky and the pokemon who fly. He does coordination battle from the air.

Age: 11
Bio: Alex is the fairly timid and somewhat cowardly son of Justin and Spring. Despite his low self confidence he wishes to be a Pokemon trainer as talented as his parents, though he'll have to get over issues such as his low self confidence and timid nature. Despite his shortcomings, he's a fairly kind, caring, and protective kid. He loves Pokemon and wishes to train his own, often playing with his parents Pokemon who still get around great 20 years after their journeys. He attended a local school for Pokemon training while growing up and though he struggled through it, he managed to pass. His father suggested he traveled to the Tokai region after he graduated.

Name: Marisa
Pokémon: Buizel, Marshtomp, Kingdra

Bio:
Marisa is the gym leader of Seabreeze Island, also working as a marine biologist. Growing up she developed a strong passion for water types, adoring the Oshawotts that often played on the beach. She soon dedicated her life to studying water types. She mostly isolated herself from others to spend more time with Pokemon and enjoying the beauty of the island. Marisa was declared the Seabreeze Island Gym Leader after the previous one retired, the council being impressed with her skills. She has a deep appreciation of the beauty of the ocean which is why she built her gym underwater so they could not only enjoy the coral reefs around it, but the Water types could watch.

Starter/Pokémon: Houndoom, Honchkrow, Weavile, Sableye, Bisharp, Zoroark

Age: 36
Bio:
Terrance is a Dark type specialist from the Tokai region. He started with a Zorua when he was 10 years old and traveled the world, training as well as preforming music. When he was 15 he went on to form a heavy metal band known as the Night Dazers, named after his signature Pokemon's signature move. His band however never really gained much attention until it was rebooted when Terrance was 24. By the time he reached 25 he was named an official member of the Tokai Elite Four. Though his dark and intimidating appearance suggests he's very brutal, he's secretly a very caring man with a gentle personality though he tries to hide his true colors.

Owen peered inside the , when suddenly Hitmonchan was launched at the door, knocked out the door, leaving the lab visable to all, as the masked Woman of the trio and her Persian made her way up to the Professor "Research, now!" the woman said

Kitten gets off the boat and cheers. "Were here Alex" She hugs her cosine. "I can't wait to start! Face off in epic battles and fight evil villains like Repation!"

Though quite nervous, Alex took a few deep breaths as he got ready to leave the boat. The 11 year old's parents had finally allowed him to go on a journey with his cousin "Kitten" as she liked to be called, though he was far less eager and confident than his father was when he started in Sinnoh. By now he had been used to the hugs, though Kitten's comment only intensified how nervous he was "I-I uhh...I hope we don't..." he muttered as he got off the boat, sighing a bit. "I don't wanna be in the same situation my parents were...."

"Your right, Relation is overused! We need a new set of villains!" Her tail swings happily.

Alex froze in place a bit "I just want a nice journey with no evil. It gives me nightmares thinking someone is after us...." he said as he began to walk to the lab, shivering a bit. "I don't wanna go through what mom and dad did..."

She walk next to him. "Alright fine. But we will still have rivals." She told him.

A body stretched back on a Lapras' back were nearing shore, who then let out a big yawn. "Oh!" The young man, sent back the Lapras in it's pokeball and began to do the backstroke up to shore. When reaching the shore, he shook the water out of his head and gazed upon the town in front of him. "Dandy."

Alex was starting to think he should've traveled through Johto instead since his cousin just made him more nervous "Well uhhh...Let's just go find the lab..." he muttered

Kitten shrugged. "Alright." She walks up behind Owen, her ears twiching. She places her finger to her lips motioning to Alex to be quit.

Luke: So your sure it's this way?
Meinfoo: Mein, Meinfoo.(Look I have the map and it says the lab is this way.)
Luke: But WHERE?
Meinfoo: Foo.(It shooud be on the other side of that hill*
*As Luke climbed to the top of the hill he saw the lab*
Luke: Ah-ha, There it is!
Meinfoo: Mein!(Told you!)
*Notcing the door wide open, Luke thought something was wrong*
Luke: it's not really that hot today, Why would someone leave their door open?
Meinfoo: Meinfoo?(Maybe something instresting is happening?)
Luke: Let's go see! *Luke dashed down the hiil, Meinfoo bobbing up and down in his hood*

Now at the lab, Alex was a little worried when Kitten told him to be quiet. Was something wrong? And who was this other guy? "W-What's going on?" he timidly said, very quietly

The young man, who's name was Caspian, began to search the town for places of interest. "Well... they got that lab... and.... yeah, that's about it. Might as well check out the lab." he began to walk in that direction.

"H....Hitmon...." the Pokemon slowly regained conscienceness and rose to it's feet, heading back into the building
"You stupid pawn, stay down!" the female of the group said, "Hyper Beam!" she said, as the blast of enery was launched blasting Hitmonchan out of the building again

Kitten runs into the lab. "Hay you! Stop that!"

When Alex saw what was going on, he froze in place. A bit frightened by the three attackers and not knowing what to do in this situation. This is exactally what he didn't want to run into

Caspian heard a large commotion going on in the lab ahead of me. "Sounds like more chaos then the usual mad scientist would cause."

"Oh, little girl you really want to get in my way?" the woman said as the brown haired one put a hand on her shoulder.
"remember, minimal damage" he said, grabbing a Pokeball, sending out a Skarmory "Stand down.... we don't want to hurt you, Skarmory, drag her away" the bird used it's beak and pulled her out of the doorway
"Speak for yourself, our end goal won't change with a life or two, you are just being too careful Yen, and remember, I am in charge, because unlike you...." she said holding the papers "I know how to get a job done" She said, as the three masked criminals got into the open

"Put me down put me down put me down! if I had a pokemon i so beat you up!" She threw her arms around and struggled.

Alex watched in fear as the Skarmory deagged Kitten away. He couldn't let them hurt her or anything. "H-Hey! L-Leaver her alone..." he said in a meek tone

Caspian saw the girl getting dragged away by the Skarmory. "That is not right... Lapras! Help her!" he sent out his Lapras, who only replied in a large sigh, out of breath from swimming for miles. "Right... You can go rest." he sent back the Lapras, and headed towards the Kitten and the Skarmory.

*As Luke was running down the hill*
Luke: Whoawhoawhoa, What's happening??
Meinfoo: MEIN!(NOTHING GOOD!)
*Luke Skidded to a halt near the lab*
