"See? Not that bad...." Owen said to Alex "Oh, so who's up next?"

Alex wasn't sure if he was ready, turning to Luke and tapping him on the shoulder "Say uhhh...C-Could you go before me?" he asked Luke

Luke: If your sure.
You psyche yourself up for your turn though.

Meinfoo: Foo!(Let's go!)

"Good luck." Kitten said.

"He's not that tough!" Owen assured

Luke: D-dude, you can't just go saying that stuff out loud while he's in the room!
Meinfoo: Foo? (He's jinxed us hasn't he?)

"Kick his butt!" Kitten shouts.

Hector prepared for the battle "....alright.... this will be a two on two...." he said calmly, glaring at Owen for a second "watch your tongue kid, and you too new guy...." he said "....I may not be the toughest gym leader in battling.... but.... remember.... I have a hive full of Beedrill"

Luke: *gulp* O-okay to the battle then!!
*Meinfoo quickly hopped out of Luke's hood onto the battlefield*
*Luke gave Owen a glare*
(If I die, I'm haunting you.)

Kitten watchs.

"You can do it Luke." Alex encouraged him

Luke: Okay Meinfoo, Let's do this!
Hector: Beedrill. To battle.
Announcer: And...BEGIN!
Hector: Beedrill Poison Sting!
Luke: Meinfoo, Evasive Maneuver!
*As the poison stings shot at Meinfoo he back-flipped across the field*
Luke: Now counter with Swift!
*Mid-backflip Meinfoo appear-ified a multitude of stars and threw them at Beedrill*
Hector: Beedrill, Twin-Needle!
*Beedrill dove at Meindoo, Needles gleaming*
Luke: Minefoo, Brick Break!
*Meinfoo hopped up into the air in attempt to smash Beedrill, But as soon as he was in the air, Beedrill had shoved him vertical-wise into the honey ceiling, where Meinfoo was forced to become stuck*
Luke: Meinfoo no!
*Meinfoo struggled in the sticky honey*
Hector: Twin Needle!
*Beedrill jabbed Meinfoo with it's needles*
Luke: Meinfoo! try to break free!!
*Between the jabs, Meinfoo struggled, he managed to get an arm out, and with it a blot of honey which stuck itself on to Beedrill's wings*
Hector: Oh no, Beedrill!
*Beedrill plummeted to the ground, unable to fly*
Hector: Beedrill, return!
*Just before Beedrill hit the ground, Hector returned it to it's pokeball*
Announcer: Round 1 goes to, Luke and Meinfoo!
Meinfoo:...Foooo...(...Um, Lil help please...)
Luke: Great Job Meinfoo, return!
*Meinfoo was rescued from the honey and returned to his pokeball for a rest*

Jet: See? Not that threatening! Owen said

"Good job!" kitten claped.

"Wow! That was great, Luke!" Alex congratulated him on the first victory of the battle

Hector: Alright Vespiqueen, Let's go.
Luke: Okay, now do your best.
Go Pansear!
*Pansear appeared out of it's pokeball, bored and uninterested in the current events*
Hector: Vespiqueen start with Attack Order.
*A Multitude of tiny Combee grubs surround Pansear and slam it into the ground*
Luke: Whoa, Pansear, You okay?
*Pansear got up with difficulty*
Luke: Okay Pansear, Incinerate!
*Pansear belched out a few small flames*
Hector: Vespiqueen, Block.
*Vespiqueen shielded he eyes and took the flames head on*
Hector: Now Power Gem.
*The gem atop Vespiqueen's forheard began to glow, releasing a ball of energy, which Vespiqueen then hurled at Pansear*
Luke: Pansear, Dodge!
*Pansear swayed back and forth as the gem sped at him*
Luke: H-hey, come on!
*Just as the Power Gem was about to hit him, Pansear rolled forward, avoiding it by near inches*
Luke: W-whoa, O-okay then, Incinerate again!
*Pansear burped up another Incenerate and hit Vespiqueen full-on*
Luke: Ha-ha, Alright!
Hector: Vespiqueen Attack Order.
*Out of the flames flew the teeny tiny Combee, heading straight for Pansear*
Luke: Pansear, Incinerate one more time!!
*As the Combee dove at Pansear it inhaled deeply, suddenly he let out an intense flame that tore straight through the Combee's and pounded into Vespiqueen, WHen the flames finally stopped Vespiqueen was out*
Luke: You...YOU DID IT!
*Pansear had fallen asleep*
Luke:...-sigh-
Hector: Well you have proven yourself, Here's your badge.
Luke: YES The Hive Badge is MINE!

Hector coughed "Honeycomb" he said in the middle of it, refering to the badge "....I'll be back in a bit for the next battle" he said

'Good job for you.' kittin yawned.

"That was amazing Luke!" Alex congratulated him, clapping a bit. His Shinx even seemed to give hiw own congratulations with happy yips.

Luke: Phew okay, your turn now!

"Guess that's right, we are almost done here" Owen said

"Good luck."

Luke: C'mon then!
We believe in you!

Alex walked up with his Shinx to the challengers side, fearing how difficult this would be "I-I want to challenge you, Hector...My names Alex and I'm here for the Hive Badge..." He told Hector

"Is that so. Well let us begin. Beedrill you're up!" Hector called out as he threw the twin needle bee Pokemon.

Alex knew he'd have a type advantage so he decided he'd send out Shinx for the battle. "Uhh Shinx start out with your Spark!" Alex told the small lion cub based Pokemon.

"Beedrill dodge and follow up with Poison Sting." Hector ordered his Beedrill

Shinx coated himself in blue electricity and jumped up to tackle Beedrill, though it moved out of the way. Beedrill began firing purple needles at the Shinx, causing him to run.

"Shinx run! Keep running until you get the chance to use Spark again!" Alex ordered his Shinx.

"Keep on firing, Beedrill!" Hector called out

Shinx kept frantically running as he avoided the Poison Sting, eventually getting ahead enough to turn back and lunge at Beedrill using Spark. Beedrill flew out of the way once more to avoid Shinx's attack.

"Now use your Twin Needle!" Hector told his Beedrill who swooped down at the falling Shinx.

Shinx was struck by the large needle arm before he could land, sending him crashing into the ground and Alex crying out for Shinx. Beedrill was flying in for another attack though suddenly a large drop of honey fell from the ground. Beedrill fell to the ground, causing Hector to shout out for Beedrill to get back into the air.

"Shinx c'mon you can do it! Nows your chance to attack!" Alex said

Shinx's fur sparked with blue electricity and now that Shinx had the perfect chance to attack. Shinx send out bolts of blue electricity, using Discharge now on Beedrill. That one attack was all it needed to knock out the bee-like Pokemon.

"Beedrill is unable to battle. This round goes to Alex and Shixn!" The referee declared, pointing to Alex's side.

Alex was overjoyed that he and Shixn finally won a round "Shinx you did it! That was so cool!" he excitedly said

Shinx looked back and ran up to Alex with an adorable smile on his face "Shinx!" (We can do it!) he said, filled with more confidence now.
