Pokemon: Adventures in Hoenn

Yen: I am sorry for everything Jude did to you, all of you
Sid: You know you can't blame yourself for it right?
Yen: It is clearly something I would do if given the opportunity, so I am sorry. I am going to have to go somewhere where I can start over, have a new life, and all that....
Sid: I am heading to work on the little project I have to honor Brett's memory, that place seems isolated and far enough out of the way to let you have that
Yen: Fair point
Sid: Plus you'll have at least a few friendly faces to help with the whole "starting a new life
Yen: Alright, alright, I'll come with you
Sid: Good call

Daniel: Its nice to see you've turned things around Sid. Hopefully one day we'll meet again....and we'll battle! 
Daniel held his hand out to Sid to shake. 
Joel: Yeah, we're going to head off too.
Alex: We've decided.....we want a holiday after all this chaos. 
Daniel: Seems like everyone is going their own way.

The groups had time to say their goodbyes, Joel and Alex departed first, followed by Dawn and Piplup who went to catch their plane to Kalos. Thomas went to head to Mosdeep city which took some serious damage. 
Sara: Evan....its time we leave too. We've got to head off, Grampa has set up a nice new home for us back in Kalos.
Evan: . . . .

*Clare reached out, handing Evan a small little gift box*
Clare: Evan.... no matter what I want you to know, that this little dufus here *Clare pushed Daniel's shoulder forward* would do almost anything for you, and that you meant alot to us

Alun: Ev, you've been great, and its been amazing seeing you grow up and mature on your travels, you'll make a great trainer one day. 
Amy: Awww everything worked out well for you. 
Daniel: Well then little guy *holds out his arms to hug Evan* 
Evan went into the hug, hugging Dan back, with tears appearing in his eyes.

Evan started crying
Daniel: Hey don't cry, you'll make me cry too.
Tears started appearing in Dan's eyes
Minun's ears lowered, tears appeared in his eyes
Turtwig lowered its head, with tears. 
Daniel: Right....you're mum's waiting....you better get going....


******FLASHBACK****
the children began to fill up the class, a small young boy entered the class, with his shoe laces untied.
Daniel: Hey kiddo! Come over here for a sec!
The boy walked over to Daniel.
Daniel: Your shoe laces are untied, you can't ever go on a pokemon adventure with them untied.
Minun: Mai mai!
Turtwig: Twig! Turtwig! 
Kid: But sir, I can't tie them.
Daniel: Oh? well that's okay, I'll show you! 
Daniel bend down and began to tie the boys laces, then undid them.
Daniel: There, now you try. 
The boy attempted to tie them but couldn't. 
Daniel: Well that's alright no one gets it first time! Here!
Daniel tied them again for him. 


Turtwig cut the ropes freeing Evan and Phanpy. 
Daniel ran over to him and helped him up.
Evan: I don't like it! *cries* 
Daniel: Evan listen to me buddy, its okay, I'm here to protect you! No need to worry! Minun, lead Evan back to the class. 
Minun: Mai
Daniel: Evan, you need to be brave now, Minun will get you out of here! 
Minun: Mai Mai
Evan: You mean it? *hugs Daniel* 
Daniel: Of course, I won't let no one hurt you. No go! 
Minun led Evan and Phanpy towards the exit. 
Aaron: Sorry to break up this happy reunion, but nope. 
Ben: Neither of you are leaving. 
Daniel: Litleo Come on out! 
Litleo: RAAAA
Minun used Thunderbolt near Aaron and Ben, startling them so that they moved aside of the exit as it led Evan and Phanpy out.



Minun led Evan and his Phanpy back to the class. 
Mr Hughes spotted them.
Mr Hughes: Evan? What's happened?
Evan let out a cute cry. 
Evan: Some nasty people tied me up, now sir is fighting them.
Mr Hughes: What? No....Children, on the bus right away. Drive look after them.
Minun and Mr Hughes ran towards the cave. 



Evan got up, wiped away the tears, then bent over and attempted to tie his shoe laces. It didn't work, so he tried again, nothing, he tried again. 
Evan: Grr.
He tried once again.....he managed to do the loops. 
Evan: I did it? I did it! I did it! 
Phanpy: Py py py Phanpy! 
Evan: I tied my shoelace! 



Evan: Is this what you do sir? You help fight off the bad guys? 
Mr Hughes: Not normally, I'm with you all the time remember.
Evan: No other sir.
Daniel: Me? Haha, sometimes, but its not all about that, sometimes it fighting gym leaders and other tough trainers but then theres times when you just get to chill with your pokemon. 
Evan: That's...that's what I want to do, ever since my mummy and daddy disappeared. I wanted to get stronger. And I know I can. Look, I tied my shoelaces! I did that because of you sir! If I'm with you I can get stronger and find the people who took mummy and daddy. 
Mr Hughes: Evan, how did you...

Evan: Everyone's been trying to hide from me the truth, but I know they've been kidnapped. That's why I want to help them. Sir please can I go with you. On your adventure?
Daniel: Huh? Well....
Mr Hughes: Evan you can't you have to stay at the trainer school.
Evan: OH! But if I go with sir I can learn. Please sir *tears formed in his eyes* Please, I tied my shoelaces, you said that I couldn't go on an adventure with them untied, but now they are please.
Daniel: Evan.....I'd be more than happy to have you with me, if that's okay with Mr Hughes?
Mr Hughes: I suppose if that's what you want to do Evan, you can.
Evan: Really *wipes away tears*
Daniel: Yes.....Sure of course you can! 
Evan ran over to Daniel and hugged him! 
Daniel: Aha! Evan I'm more than happy to have you join the gang.
Evan: Thank you Thank you Thank you! *tears of joy filled his eyes*

Evan ran off out of the pokecenter.
Sara: Evan!!!
Daniel: Let me speak to him!

Daniel found Evan sitting on a park bench. 
Daniel: Evan....why did you run off? 
Evan: Its not fair. I don't want to go.
Daniel: But you can be with your mum and little brother finally, grampa too.
Evan: I know, they're back. That's good....but I want to travel more. With you. 
Daniel: Me?
Evan: Everything I've learnt. *sends out Mightyena* 
Mightyena appeared next to Minun and Turtwig.
Evan: Everything I learnt from you. I don't want to stop learning. If I go back with my mum, I go back to school. But I'm better on the road. 
Daniel: But its what your mum thinks is best for you.
Evan: But what about what I think is best? 
Minun: Mai
Evan: I'm a child, so no one thinks that I can think. But I can... and I had the best times of my life on the road.

Daniel: Yeah, but its also dangerous. Evan, I thought I lost you. I thought you had been killed when Mewtwo had you. Honestly I was lost when I found out. I didn't know what I would do. I can't think of a world where you're not in it, you're so young and have so much ahead of you, with so much potential. Its safer if you stay with your family.
Evan: I nearly died there too, my house fire remember, is anywhere really that safe. 
Daniel: Well....you've got a point.
Evan: I don't want to go home. I want to travel. I want to see all of the pokemon out there. I want adventures. Did I do something wrong for you to not want me to travel with you anymore?
Daniel: Of course you didn't. I'd love for you to travel with me. But I don't make that decision. 
Evan: You mean it? You want me to travel with you still? 
Daniel: Sure I do! 
Evan: Then let's go.
Daniel: Where?
Evan: I'm telling my mum. I want you to make her listen to me. 
Daniel: Bu-
Evan ran back to the pokecenter, excited. 


Sara awaited their arrival.
Sara: Oh good you've come back.
Evan: Mum, I want you to listen to me.
Sara: We haven't got time for that dear, we've got to go and catch our flight.
Evan: Mummy please! Listen.
Sara: Say goodbye Ev.....we've got to go.
Daniel: Sara, listen to him please.
Sara had a realisation, as though she knew what was going to happen, but couldn't face to hear it. 
Evan: I don't want to go home. I want to travel. I'm stronger on the road, with Dan. I want to see the world, see all the pokemon in the world and become a great trainer. When I travel with Dan, I can do that
Sara: I know honey....I know.....
Evan: So please can I go with him
Sara: But I just got you back.....
Evan: Mum, you'll still see me, and we'll call you everyday to see where we are. 
Sara: *sighs* Oh gosh....

Clare:....If Daniel reaming me out wasn't proof enough, trust me, your son is in good hands with him, you can have faith in him

Sara: I-I know Evan.......I can see how much you've grown and how proud I am of you. You know I want the best for you. 
Alun: Go on Sara....give him the answer *smirks*
Sara: Oh of course you can go with Dan!
Daniel: Really?
Evan: REALLY?
Sara: Yes....but you stay in touch everyday.
Evan: i will mum...I will!
Evan jumped for joy. 
Minun and Turtwig did too.
Evan: Okay okay...so since I'll be leaving you. I want you to take Mightyena home with you. 
Daniel: Really?
Evan: If any crooks come looking for you, I know that Mightyena can protect you. Mightyena, will you do that for me?
Mightyena nodded, before hugging Evan. 
Evan: Mightyena....return! 
Mightyena went back into a pokeball. 
Evan: Here Mum...Tayl....look after Mightyena for me.
Sara: Of course we will.....right come here then 
Sara hugged Evan, feeling teary.
Sara: I'm so so proud of you. Right.......time to catch the flight. Dan, please keep looking after him
Daniel: You can count on it!
Sara bidded farewell

Clare: I... I mean I know it's not as impressive now that you aren't going, but you still have a little gift there Evan, do you maybe want to see what I got you? Though.... it was sorta meant as a good bye to the group thing so maybe it may not be as nice as it was before, but that's for the best

Evan opened the gift.
Evan: Cool, thank you. 
Daniel: That's a nice photo
Amy: Aww its cute
Alun smiled.
Alun: Shall we hit the road? 
Daniel: Yeah, the ship for Kanto leaves in 2 days time so we should make our way there. 
Evan: Does that mean I'm going to Kanto?
Daniel: Yeah I guess it does!
Evan: Yahoo!

Clare: Glad you like it *Clare smiled, shifting her back pack, clearly holding three more gifts in the bag* To the port we go.... *she sighed, opening her backpack and handing out the three gifts* For when we go our separate ways so I am not ruining a moment again *she handed one to Amy one to Alun and one to Daniel* Don`t open them until you are on your way

The gang set out on the road. 




The next morning, the gang were going along a route. 
They came across a trainer school.
Daniel: Look a school! 
Alun: Its an academy
Amy: An academy? 
Alun: Yeah they're a series of schools. They're all over the world. 
Daniel: Interesting. . . I wonder what they're like
Evan: Are we going in?
Amy: Looks like it....
The group entered the school. 
They were greeted by many students and teachers. 
One woman with brown hair working at the school stopped them. 
Woman: Oh...hi, are you visiting the school?
Daniel: Yeah we're passing by trainers.
Woman: How lovely. Well my name is Joanne. I'm actually the schools secretary. I can show you around. 
Daniel: That would be great. 
Joanne: Then I'll take you to sign in. It's just passed the reception desk....*points* 
Daniel and the gang headed to the reception desk.
Joanne stood watching them go.
Joanne: (Wow...that man, he's a little short....but I wonder if noticed me..) 
Joanne followed the gang. 
The gang signed in. 
Joanne then took the gang to the assembly hall.
Assembly was due to take place. The gang sat down to watch the assembly. 
Mrs Flanagan, the schools deputy principal took the assembly. Mrs Flanagan was a very young woman, with pink hair all up in a bun.
Mrs Flanagan: As you all know, the school is without a principal at the moment. That does not mean we expect behaviour to slip.
Alun: Joanne, what happened to the principal? 
Joanne: He recently quit. 
Alun: How come?
Joanne: No one knows. 
Alun: How strange. 
Joanne: One minute he was here, the next he was gone. Mrs Flanagan here joined the school shortly after, she's acting as the principal but she's actually become the schools deputy principal. 
Daniel: So she's new?
Joanne: Yeah.....no one knew her before.

Clare: T...that is strange *Delibird followed them, clearly a bit concerned*

Mrs Flanagan wrapped up the assembly. She then headed back to the office. 
Joanne continued to give a tour of the school. 
Daniel: Everything looks so fancy and expensive here.
Joanne: That's because we're a branch, we're looking at expanding, to the Alola Region.
Amy: Alola?
Alun: That's the same region the Aether Foundation started at. 
Daniel: Alola? 
Joanne: Yeah, but we've yet to find a suitable principal for the job.
Daniel: Alun here used to be a teacher.
Alun: Huh..well yeah, before I went travelling.
Evan: He was my teacher
Joanne: You're a teacher?
Alun: Yeah...well not at the moment, but I'm qualified. 
Joanne: (He works with kids too....ahhh) *blushes* 


In Mrs Flanagan's office.
Mrs Flanagan sat down, she then picked up the phone call. 
Mrs Flanagan: Everyone is going to class, coast is clear. Heehee!

Clare: Well it sounds promising if there is anything to it, It does give you footprints all around the globe

Daniel and the gang followed Joanne down a corridor, suddenly, they heard ruffling noises. 
Daniel: What's that?
Joanne: Its probably one of the kids out of class again.
Music could be heard.
Joanne: It sounds like its coming from pokemon storage room.
Amy: Pokemon storage room? 
Joanne: Its where we keep our pokemon for the school. The trainers use them in battles. 
Amy: Oh right!

Daniel: That music.....please don't let it be...
Amy: What is it?
Evan: AH! NO ITS HIM...The weird man. 
Minun and Turtwig fell to floor, facepalming. 
Daniel: Let's go
The group ran down the corridor, and into the room. 
In the room, the selves where pokeballs should be were empty. In the room, a tall man with an afro was dancing around. 
Daniel: Mirror B!
Mirror B spun around on the spot, facing the group.
Mirror B: Ooooooo! Well if it isn't the sweet hearts. 
Mirror B danced up to Daniel and Alun, stroking their faces. 
Daniel: UGH.
Alun: UGH!
Both froze. 
Daniel: What are you doing here *creeped out*
Alun: Put those pokeballs back.
Mirror B: Ooo oo oo, no can do sweetcheeks I can't be doing that now hun. 
Joanne: Those pokemon are the property of this school. Give them back, before I call the schools principal.
Mirror B: Principal? Oh honey, there is no principal in this school. 
Joanne: How do you know that?
Mirror B: Because the principal has been kidnapped....by moi! 
Daniel: You did what? 
Evan: You crook! 
Joanne: Fine then, the deputy will help us. 
Mirror B: Oh you're so misguided. That won't be happening either.
Daniel: What? You've kidnapped Mrs. Flanagan? 
Mirror B: Handsome, no of course, I don't need to do that, when Mrs. Flanagan is my partner in crime. 
Evan: EH?
Mirror B: Lovrina! Sweetie! Reveal yourself.
Mrs Flanagan came down the corridor behind the gang.
Daniel: This can't be true? 
Joanne: Mrs Flanagan, you work with this weirdo?
Mrs Flanagan revealed herself, Lovrina appeared
Daniel: IT IS!
Lovrina: My identity has been revealed. But that won't stop us getting away. Delcatty GO!
Joanne: Oh no. I don't think so, I'll protect this school, its students and the pokemon! GO Gardevoir! 
Mirror B: Let's dance, Sudowoodo! 
Alun: Alright, this ends here, GO Marowak! 
Daniel: GO AL!

Clare: Show those no good punks what you are made of!

Lovrina: Delcatty use Attract on Marowak! 
Joanne: Wigglytuff, get in the way!
Wigglytuff jumped in front of Marowak! 
Joanne: Wigglytuff use Thunder! 
Delcatty was electrocuted 
Mirror B: Sudowoodo, Hammer Arm! 
Sudowoodo ran up, ready to attack Wigglytuff
Alun: Marowak use Bone Club! 
Marowak used Bone Club, knocking Sudowoodo back. 
Lovrina: Use Double Edge
Delcatty came running towards Wigglytuff
Alun: Use Flamethrower! 
Marowak used Flamethrower on Delcatty. 
Wigglytuff jumped up and used Disarming Voice on Sudowoodo 
Sudowoodo was knocked back into Mirror B knocking the pokeball bag out of his hands and onto the floor. 
Mirror B: Oh no fair! You've messed up my hairdo. 
Lovrina: Who cares about your hair, we're losing here.
Mirror B: Well let's get out of hair sweetie. 
Mirror B got up, running out of the school
Lovrina: Ah I wish I could have stayed for longer but I guess I've got to go. See ya! *blows kiss then runs after Mirror B*
Evan: That was great
Joanne: You're pretty strong Al
Alun: Hey, you can definitely hold your own in battle. 
Knock Knock!
Evan: That came from the door...
Evan ran over to the door at the end of the room, opening it, inside was a man wearing a suit, and holding an egg. 
Evan: OH!
Evan untied the man, taking the egg off the man who then began rubbing his wrists. 
Daniel: Are you okay.
Principal: I've been locked in here for several days....how do you think I'm feeling.
Daniel: Uh..
Joanne: I hope you're okay, we should get you some food, I'll get the canteen staff to whip you up something.
Principal: Thank you. Those weirdos tried taking the pokemon, but I caught them, so then I tried stopping them, but I noticed they had the school's egg project in their hands. I couldn't let the kids down, they're curious what will hatch from it. I tried stopping them, so they locked me away with the egg.
Joanne: That sounds terrible. 
Principal: It was a horrible ordeal. 
Evan: It doesn't sound nice...*egg glows* WOAH!
The egg began to hatch. 
Hatching from the egg was a round spikey pokemon. Its colours consisted of grey, white, yellow and brown, it had a spikey tail as well. 
Daniel: Woah, what's that pokemon?
Alun: I'm not sure, I haven't seen it before.
The pokemon opened its eyes, looking up at Evan. 
????: Toge!

Clare: It's adorable *She bent down to get a better look at the thing*

Amy: Its a cutie!
Evan: Ahhh *hands the pokemon back to the principal*
The pokemon began to cry
Principal: Oh, how strange, *hands the pokemon back to Evan*
The pokemon stopped crying and smiled at Evan.
Principal: Well...looks like the school project is out of the window.
Daniel: That pokemon seems to like you Ev. 
Evan: But why?
Alun: Its the theory of attachment. Imprinting. The first thing it saw was you Ev, its formed an instant bond with you. 
Daniel: Oh of course, now its sees you as its care giver. 
Evan: Me? 
Daniel: Sure! 
Principal: I guess it would be cruel of me to keep the pokemon here, when its got this bond with you. The pokemon is yours as long as you can find out what the species is. 
Evan: Cool! Thank you!
????: Toge! 

Later that day, the gang got ready to leave.
Joanne: Alun, before you go, may I have a word.
Alun: Sure. 
Joanne: I have a proposition for you
Alun: You do?
Joanne: You're a qualified teacher, we're looking for a qualified teacher to set up our new trainer academy in Alola. And I really think you'd be great for the role. 
Alun: You do?
Joanne: Sure you are! Please think about it. The school isn't finished being built yet, but there's lots of paper work to do before then, plus recruitment of its staff. But I could be your secretary! 
Alun: You would?
Joanne: It'd be my pleasure. Please have a think about it.
Alun: Sure I will
Joanne: Here...please take my number then.
Joanne handed her number over to Alun so that he could call her if he wanted to accept the offer.
Joanne: I look forward to hearing from you. 
Alun: Thanks....nice to meet you too. See ya!

The gang headed off, on their final journey to the docks, with a potential new path for Alun in mind.

*Clare's boat had two men in suits and sunglasses waiting for her, them looking at her*
Clare:...I....I guess this is where I say good bye, it was alot of fun travelling with you all, and Daniel, thanks for letting me in *she turned to her boat* ...Take care, and hope to see you soon *she waved, getting on her boat slowly, hesitantly*

Daniel: See you Clare!
Amy: It was nice knowing you
Alun: All the best! 
Evan: Have a safe trip!

Clare: Enjoy the gifts! *she waved off, the boat taking off before she could see their reactions to them*

The group opened their presents.

Daniel had a badge case that would flip for him, having multiple slots for his multiple region accomplishments, including sections for his frontier winnings, and little mementos for the Pokken League, along with a little letter, that said on the cover "for your eyes only"

Amy was given a small little case with 4 little IDs on it, much like her disguise she used to travel around Hoenn, they were all of people that weren't really her, but looked like her enough that she could pass off as them with a proper disguise, which her box also contained. The 4 costumes though weren't random, each one was a bit more elaborate than her normal ones, each with general aiding skills associated with it, her being able to pass herself off as a Volunteer to help out the people of Hoenn without it becoming a show about how famous she was

Alun on the other hand had a small pocket watch, while nothing overly done or crazy, on the inside had the words "world's greatest teacher" and on it was the signature of a few of the students he had had over the year, though they were clearly put on digitally, the hand writting was clearly there, with a spot for Daniel left to sign it as well
