Pokemon: Adventures in Hoenn

Walter: ....I wish that the world was such that Jude never remembered the Rogues!
Jirachi's eye on it's stomach slowly began to open, clearly in pain
Kaia: Ice Beam!
Clare: you too! *Delibird and Weavile quickly launched their attacks at Jirachi*
Jirachi's eye opened wide before being surronded in a flash of light blue light for a second, the ice type attacks hitting and encasing the Pokemon in ice, seemingly stopping the wish*
Walter: W....what... you.... you FROZE HIM!
Kaia:.....and frozen Pokemon can't move, meaning the wish was not completed
Clare: We will give him a Rawst Berry after all this is over
Walter: No no no no! *Walter rushed to the ice covered Jirachi, hitting the block over and over again trying to free it so it would grant his wish*

Daniel: That was his wish? A world without grunts....not a bad idea to me. 
Amy: I'd second that. 
Evan: Less bad guys! Makes the world a better place.

Jude: *glared at them* You fools realize what he was doing!
*A man stepped out of the shadows*
???: Walter..... disrupting a legendary Pokemon like that is a crime, especially forceful control over such a beast
Walter: y....you
Looker: I am afraid just like the Rogues you sent me here, you know what's coming, you are under arrest
Walter:....I .... I was so close
Looker:....You know why what he did was wrong right? *Looker looked at Daniel and Co.*
Clare:..Of course, forcing Jirachi to do it was cruel..... it's not his problem to fix, causing harm and pain to such a creature borders on crazy, no matter what the cause

Daniel: Of course, we hate seeing cruel things done on pokemon. Hey hold up, don't we know you.
Amy: Looker isn't it? You helped us take down Team Solar Flare in Sinnoh right? I recognise that.....*blushes* uh, trench coat anywhere

*Looker holds his chin, looking at them, a faint smile on his face*
Looker: Ah yes, Daniel I was called to deal with a terrorist group *handcuffs were put on Walter as Looker looked up at Jude and Kaia*
Jude:.....you know we aren't going willingly right?
Clare:...t...they did help us with Jirachi could you turn a blind eye to them this once
Looker: They are criminals, I am here to track them down and arrest them, and that's what I will do, the law doesn't show sympathy I am afraid

Daniel: Clare, you can't be serious? Do we have to remind you about the history of these criminals? Once they're locked away, its one less thing to worry about.

Clare:....And I will remind you, they came running, why did they come running here?
Jude: Because I knew Walter was no good and up to something
Clare:....The first thing they did when they heard trouble was coming rushing to help, you are right, they are criminals, and deserve to be punished, but for one moment, can't you see that they weren't the bad guys here
Looker: But tomorrow they will be, and we have to stop that day from coming

Daniel: They came running because one of their grunts was in trouble, commendable yes, but they are still criminals, I'm with Looker, he's right, tomorrow will be another day for them and will be up to no good. 
Minun: Mai mai *folds arms*
Turtwig: Twig

Jude:.....you are an idiot *Jude turned to leave*
Looker: Croguank, Poison Jab
Kaia: Taunt and Blizzard! *Weavile drew the attention and covered the air in a icy cold blast* we could have left at any time *When the snow died down, the pair was long gone*

Daniel: Drats they got away *clenches fist* 
Alun: Looks like crime lives to fight another day.
Amy: Which means we're going to see those crooks again.
Evan: I wish trouble would leave us alone to travel.

Looker:...Don't show sympathy to criminals girl
Clare: I won't let them get away again, just.... for Jirachi's well being we owed them one
Looker: That isn't your call to make
Clare:.....I don't think I can leave it in the hands of the international police either, as..... you are cuffing one of your own
Looker:..I will catch them that is my duty, the international police will punish all wrong doers *Looker left with Walter*
Clare:*slowly turned to the group* .....thank you for coming to rescue me"

Daniel: Thanks Looker! 
Amy: Good to have you back Clare
Alun: Safe and sound 

Lowri and Kurt came running into the room
Lowri: Clare, you're okay?
Kurt: Looks like you guys did the job
Evan: Looks like our gang are back together.

*Clare nods*
Clare: I'm fine, and after a bit so will Jirachi *she started to feed it a Rawst berry, the Pokemon defrosting before it's eyes closed, it going back to sleep quite quickly*

Daniel: Poor thing, at least its safe now. 
Alun: And it can rest in peace now, without being awoken.
Evan: It looks so cute

*Clare held the Pokemon, cradling it in her arms, slowly brushing her hand against it as it drifted to sleep, her lightly humming a calming tune as it reached it's slumber*
Clare:...and now it can finally rest *she placed it down on the far side of the room* Alright..... let's get out of here and let the little guy sleep

Daniel: Good idea, let's get out of here! 
The gang exited the room, and headed back to Mauvile City.

*as the group left, Clare heard a rustling in the bushes, turning to see it but finding nothing there*
*Clare followed the group, at first sticking really close to Dan, a little shaken after the kidnapping*

Daniel, Alun and the gang arrived at the gym in Mauvile. 
Wattson: Welcome gang, I'm glad you could make it, so you're ready for the challenge? 
Daniel and Alun nodded
Wattson: Then let me introduce you to a friend of mine, please meet Walter
An older man with white hair and a large purple cape approached the stage. 
Walter: So you wish to win the Ferrum tournament? Then you must beat us here today, from your second battle onwards, you will be battling alongside each other. Do you feel up to the challenge?
Alun: Ready
Daniel: Of course
Wattson: Now then, let's not waste anymore time. You are allowed 1 support pokemon each. 
Daniel: Right
Alun: Got it. 
Wattson: Manetric GO
Daniel: Venusaur! 
Alun: Typhlosion!
Walter: Gengar 

Amy, Evan, Lowri, Kurt and Clare took their place in the stands. 
Amy: I sure hope they can do it
Evan: No doubt! They'll win no matter what.
Lowri: This is exciting, I haven't seen Daniel battle in the longest of time. And to be battling against someone like Alun.
Kurt: They'll make a good match up. But this Wattson and Walter seem wise. 


Wattson: Make the first move
Daniel: Venasaur use your vines! 
Vines wrapped round Typhlosion, it lifted him up and flung him at Manetric 
Alun: Use Blast Burn 
Flames shot out of Typhlosion, burning both opponents at such a close range. 
Wattson: Discharge! 
Alun: Dodge! 
From behind Typhlosion, two arms reached out, holding Typhlosion, stopping it from dodging, just as the electricity hit Typhlosion, Gengar faded away. 
Typhlosion: PHLOSION!
Daniel: That Gengar, its going to be a problem isn't it. 
Alun: Yes, we need to take it down immediately. 
Daniel: Gotcha, Venusaur use Power Whip! 
The vine whipped at Gengar, but it went right through. 
Daniel: Ghosts.....they're hard work. 
Alun: Typhlosion Aerial Ace
Typhlosion shot up, and launched itself at Gengar
Manetric then used Wild Charge, knocking Typhlosion back. 
Daniel: Venusaur use Sludge
Venusaur shot out thick acid, striking Manetric. 
Wattson: That Bulbasaur has a few moves up its sleeve since it evolved, however it wasn't strong enough to take down Manetric back then, and it certainly won't be now. 
Daniel: Yeah well Venusaur has a fighting spirit and wants vengence! Power Whip!
The vines came crashing at Manetric
Walter: Gengar, teleport! 
Gengar teleported, grabbing Manetric and then disappearing, this time, behind Typhlosion.
Manetric and Gengar teamed up. Manetric using Wild Charge, whilst Gengar used Destiny Bond. 
Alun: NO!
Amy: So Typhlosion goes down if Gengar does. That's foul play. 
Alun: Dan......we've got to do it. 
Daniel: What?
Alun: Typhlosion is going down either way. Let's get some attacks in, then you do it. 
Daniel: Are you sure?
Alun: It's got to be down if we want to win this. 
Daniel: Right!
Alun pressed down on his assist. 
Out of its pokeball came Dedenne, using Nuzzle on Gengar. 
Daniel: HELP US OUT!
Daniel pressed down on his assist.
Cyndaquil: QUIL!
Cyndaquil used Extrasensory, grabbing Gengar tight in a beam and throwing it around, causing damage.
Typhlosion then used Wild Charge, crashing into it and knocking Gengar on to the ground below.
Daniel: Thanks Cyndaquil!
Cyndaquil: QUIL!
Alun: NOW!
Daniel: Venusaur, EARTHQUAKE!
The ground shook violently, Manetric, Gengar and Typhlosion were caught up in the attack.
Gengar collapsed, unable to take anymore. 
Walter: Impossible!
Purple energy shot out of Gengar, and latched onto Typhlosion, causing it to collapse to the ground. 
Referee: Gengar and Typhlosion are unable to battle. 
Alun put his hand on Dan's shoulder.
Alun: It's in your corner now. Win it
Daniel nodded. 
Wattson: Looks like it time to take things up a notch. *pushes down on his watch*
Wattson's watch opened up, revealing his mega stone. 
Manetric began to shine, it began to mega evolve. 
Evan: WOAH!
Daniel: Venusaur. It's time! 
Daniel's mega bracelet began to react, as Venusaur began to shine, it started mega evolving.

*Clare watched in ae*
Clare: You can do it Dan! You too Venasaur!

Evan: Mega Venusaur!
Kurt: It looks so strong
Lowri: I hope it can handle its transformation
Amy: They're close, they'll master it!
Alun: Dan, you've got this, you and Venusaur have a strong bond! WIN IT FOR US BOTH!
Daniel: RIGHT! Venusaur, use Earthquake!
Wattson: GET OFF THE GROUND, Manetric use Discharge!
Manetric shot its electricity into the ground, shooting Manetric straight up towards the roof.

Evan: It's flying off the ground! DAN! DO SOMETHING!
Daniel: Venusaur, use Power Whip! 
The vines shot out into the air, slashing through the electricity, and then slamming into Manetric. 
Manetric came crashing towards the ground, hitting it with a large thud. 
One of the vines came crashing down on top, it then wrapped around Manetric. 
Daniel: VENUSAUR! EARTHQUAKE! 
Wattson: NO!
The ground shook, Manetric getting hurt badly. 
Manetric was hurt once more, from the poison. 
Daniel: HEADBUTT!
Venusaur charged at Manetric who laid on the ground, weak, it then smacked it with its head, slamming it at the wall. 
Manetric then changed back into its normal form. It then crashed to the ground, KO'd. 
Evan: HE DID IT!
Amy: ALRIGHT DAN!
Lowri: That was such an exciting battle!
Kurt: He's still got it!
Alun patted Daniel on the back.
Alun: I knew you two had this, you took us to victory. 
Daniel: Thanks, we couldn't have done it without you and Typhlosion helping us out. 
Alun: Well.....we're a team after all. 
Wattson and Walter walked over to Alun and Dan.
Walter: Congratulations both, *hands them both the Blue belt* 
Wattson: You have 2 more belts to get and I'm su.....
Screams came from outside. 
Walter: What was that? 
The gang quickly ran outside. 
In the streets, people were screaming and running, as multiple shadow balls flew around. 
Daniel: What's happening?
Minun: Mai?
Turtwig: Twig? 
Cyndaquil: Quil
Evan: Is the city under attack?
Alun: Those seem like powerful shadow balls too.
Amy: But what's causing it. 
A blast came from one of the apartments, and through the blast emerged a man, surrounded in dark purple aura, floating  in the air. 
Daniel: Who's that? 
Wattson: He must be the one behind all of this. 
Kurt: *reaches his capture styler* If he's causing this, then we've got to stop it. 
With that, a black humanoid pokemon came from the same building. Firing many shadow balls. 
Daniel: That pokemon...it looks like another...
Manetric fired a thunderbolt out to hit the pokemon, only to be blasted back by a shadow ball. 
The man slowly floated to the ground, along with the mysterious pokemon. 
The man could be seen clearly. 
It was the man from a while back who tried to steal from the gang in Petelburg forest. 
Daniel: That man? 
Evan froze with realisation. 
The pokemon landed beside the man, it was now clear to what the pokemon was.
Daniel: Woah, Mewtwo? 
The gang remembered meeting Mewtwo back at the Pokemon Village in Kalos. 
Alun: It looks like its a different colour to the one we met before. 
The Mewtwo had an orange glowing crystal stuck into its skin. 
Evan suddenly let out a cry.
Evan: DADDY!
Daniel: Wait, what? 
Alun: Of course, that's Rob.
Daniel, Amy, Lowri and Kurt: Rob? 
Alun: Evan's father who disappeared. 
Daniel: Wait, so he's a criminal. 
Amy: Oh dear.
Evan: My dad is not a criminal.
Evan ran over to his dad, reaching out for a hug.
Rob held out his arms, before commanding Mewtwo. 
Mewtwo lifted Evan up using Psychic, before throwing Evan backwards.
Daniel: EVAN! 
Venusaur used its vines, catching Evan. 
Alun: Its as if he doesn't recognise his own son. 
Daniel: But why? 
Rob: Destroy this city. 
Mewtwo launched up into the sky. 
Daniel: COME ON OUT!
Pyroar, Greninja, and Shelgon joined Minun, Turtwig, Cyndaquil and Venusaur. 
Alun: HELP!
Azumaril, Hitmontop and Dedenne came out to help Typhlosion
Amy: LEDIAN HELP US!
Ledian joined Phanpy.
Kurt: Gengar, Charizard, Feraligatr!
Lowri: Jigglypuff, Rapidash, Lapras!
The gang began to launched attacks at Mewtwo. 
Mewtwo flew round rapidly, dodging the attacks. 
Evan once again ran up to his father, crying.

Clare: Delibird! GO! *Delibird was sent out* Don't let that thing hurt Evan! *Delibird landed on the ground, in front of Evan, trying to protect Evan as he travelled Delibird giving Dan the thumbs up to give the fight his all*

Mewtwo used protect, blocking all of the attacks. 
It then swooped down sending multiple Shadow Balls out. 
Daniel: Block them! Use your attacks!
Each of the pokemon sent out an attack, destroying the Shadow Balls. 
Daniel: Guys, it doesn't look like we can do much to hurt it, so we'll have to stop it from damaging the city. 
Alun, Amy, Kurt, Lowri, Walter, Wattson: RIGHT!

Evan continued running towards his father, latching onto him. 
Evan: DAD?! You're scaring me. PLEASE
Rob swung his arm, knocking Evan to the floor.
Rob: Get away from me you mere child.
Evan was in tears. 
Rob lifted up his arm, clenching his fist, ready to punch Evan.
Daniel: Minun, Thunderbolt, Turtwig, Double Edge! 
Rob was electrocuted, Turtwig then slammed into him, knocking him backwards.
Daniel picked Evan up, putting him on his back. 
Minun: Mai!
Turtwig: Twig! 
Rob got back up, trying to punch whilst Mewtwo tried destroying the city, the gang's pokemon giving their greatest efforts to stop it. 
Turtwig used Seed Bomb on the ground in front of Rob, creating explosions, giving Daniel the opportunity to get away with Evan. 
Rob: ARGH. I shall fulfil my duty elsewhere. MEWTWO! Let's go! 
Mewtwo disappeared, it then reappeared by Rob, before disappearing again with Rob. 

Wattson: Thank you all for your efforts. You've all helped protect this city.
Walter: Its good you were all here too, this city had taken enough damage recently from the tsunami, we couldn't risk it getting destroyed once more. 
Alun, Amy and Clare ran up to Daniel and Evan.
Alun: You're not hurt are you?
Amy: Are you both okay?
Daniel: I'm fine, Evan let's have a look at your face. 
Daniel put Evan down, examining his face where he was bruised. 
Daniel: That was one hard hit. 
Lowri came over, holding a wet towel and putting it on Evan's face.
Evan was speechless. 
Daniel: I don't understand what's going on.
Kurt: Why doesn't he recognise his own son?
Lowri: It was like he didn't even have a child. 
Amy: And what's worse, how has he got hold of such a powerful pokemon like Mewtwo?
Alun: And why does it not look like the Mewtwo we encountered before. 
The gang went back to the pokecenter for the night. They put Evan to bed, before meeting the common room, to discuss what had happened. 
Daniel: The poor kid has been through much, he's finally been reunited with his father, and he doesn't even know him
Alun: And he's completely different to who he used to be. I met his father a few times, he was never cruel. He was a really nice guy. 
Amy: It just doesn't make sense.
Alun: It makes me wonder, where his mother is and his little brother. 
Daniel: Well at least he's got us. 
Kurt: Its not quite the same as your own family.
Daniel: I know that. 
Lowri: He's such a sweet kid as well. 
Amy: You're right though Dan, whatever happens, he's got us, especially you. He really looks up to you. 
Daniel: Well if his dad is here in Hoenn, then surely the rest of his family are too. 
Alun: I hope you're right Dan, I just hope they haven't ended up like his father.

Clare: You will find them Dan, I know you wil

Daniel: I hope so.....



The next morning, the gang were up, ready to head out, however, it was time for the gang to say their goodbyes to some friends. 
Kurt was all packed up, as was Lowri. 
Daniel: So Kurt, you're heading back to the sanctuary? 
Kurt: Sure am!
Cyndaquil: QUIL QUIL!
Daniel: Cyndaquil thanks for all of your help! It was so good to see you again. 
Cyndaquil jumped into Daniel, ready for a hug.
Lowri: Actually, me and Kurt have been talking, and I've decided, I'd like to go with him. I spent all these years thinking he was gone, but he's not. So I'd love to see what he's been up to. 
Daniel: Aha, I can't say I'm surprised!
Amy: Me neither
Alun: I think we all saw that coming. 
Daniel: It was a bit predictable. 
Lowri: Whatever. 
Kurt: Well then, you guys keep in touch. 
Daniel: Of course, you look after Cyndaquil! 
Kurt: Will do!
Cyndaquil approached Evan. 
Cyndaquil: Quil quil! Cynda Cyndaquil! 
Evan looked down. 
Cyndaquil jumped on his shoulder, rubbing itself against his face. 
Cyndaquil: Cynda!
Evan began to smile, before laughing after being tickled. 
Cyndaquil: QUIL!
Daniel: Can always rely on Cyndaquil to cheer you up!
Cyndaquil: Cynda cynda cyndaquil! 
Daniel: So Ev, I hope you're ready to support me and Al, we'll be needing your support. 
Evan: Yeah! I can't wait!
Daniel: That's more like *puts hand on Evan's shoulder*

Lowri: It was great to see you again Dan, it had been way too long, and it was so good to meet you all.
Kurt, Lowri and Cyndaquil got in the car. 
Daniel: Goodbye guys! See you real soon!
Evan: Safe journey!

Amy: See you again! 
The car drove off into the distance. 

Daniel: So where were we heading next.
Alun: Lavaridge Town it says is the next place to go *looking at the Pokken handbook* 
Amy: Ah Lavaridge town! I love that place
Daniel: Lavaridge town? That's where Flannery lives
Evan: We'll see Flannery again?
Alun: See her? Looks like she's our next opponent, now she's gym leader again.
Evan: That's so cool, I can't wait to see her gym! 
Daniel: Well then, what are we waiting for!
Minun: Mai
Turtwig: Twig!

*Clare smiled, taking out a Pokeball*
Clare: I hope you don't mind, but I have a little detour I have to do on our way there with this little Spheal we have here, hope you are ok with that
