Pokemon: Aloha Alola!

Alvis: Shipping me off, geez, just like the rest you don't let me have any of the business
Gordy: It's not that, you have your island challenge
Alvis: So?
Gordy: I'll do the snooping, and you can look into that for yourself
Alvis: Are you sure you don't need back up?
Gordy:...they were trainers you said right? Well maybe we can things out about them if we split up, I can tailgate them, and maybe you can find someone who knows about the blue haired girl, Anabel on the other hand is a bit more manageable as you said, bro knew her from the battle tower, I feel we can work out information about her past looking through, but maybe that blue haired woman with the Delibird is her local informant
Alvis: And if a local she would have participated in the trainer challenge
Gordy: Bingo
Alvis: there you go, always on your toes
Gordy: That is what we have to do, so here *Gordy handed over a picture of Clarity to Alvis that he took yesterday*
Alvis: Good, sort of a shame she's the villain in this
Gordy: Why do you say that?
*Alvis had a devilish grin on his face*
Alvis: You two would look cute together
Gordy: Alright, Alright, off we go, break!
*Gordy sighed, heading off to tailing them*

The group entered the school gates, they walked on to the school yard, and then into the school itself. 
They were greeted by a receptionist. 
Receptionist: Greetings, how can we help?
Daniel: Uh, well......
Lauren: We're here to see Ilima. 
Receptionist: Very well, right this way. 
Jocey: We are? How do you know what we're here for?
Lauren: Ilima, he's a teacher at this school. If Daniel is here for the island challenges, it best that he visits Ilima.
Jocey: But how do you know that?
Lauren: I just...do *sighs* 
They followed the lady out to the back of the school, were a crowd could be heard cheering. 
Daniel: What's going on? 
Around the corner was a large battlefield, and stood on one side was a young man, with a light orange hair colour just wrapping up his battle. 
Receptionist: There he is, that is Ilima! 
A pokemon fell to the floor, KO'd. The opposing pokemon landed on the ground, completely unharmed.
Daniel: What's that pokemon? 
Daniel pulled out his pokedex:
Pokedex: Yungoos, the Loitering pokemon. With its sharp fangs, it will bite anything. It did not originally live in Alola but was imported from another region. 
Daniel: That sure does look strong.
Ilima: And that class, is how you beat a pokemon using type advantages! Every move has a certain type, which can often determine how a battle will end.
Daniel ran onto the battlefield.
Lauren: What's he doing, he's going to draw attention to us. 
Daniel: Hey, if its a battle you want to show the kids, then I'll take you on!
Ilima: Oh, well this is unexpected children, it seems we have a visitor who wishes the challenge me.
Evan: GO FOR THE WIN DAN!
Jocey: Yeah you can do it. 
Ilima: Then let us battle, children, take notes. GO Smeargle! 
Daniel: Pah! A Smeargle? This will be your first official battle against a trainer! GO Litten! 
Illima smiled.
Ilima: You may have the first move.
Daniel: Gee, thanks, Litten use Scratch! 
Litten ran towards Smeargle, who stood there, expressionless.
Litten began scratching at Smeargle.
Ilima: Dodge!
Just as Litten was about to attack, Smeargle moved aside.
Daniel: Oh yeah, use Ember! 
Smeargle stood still
Ilima: Now children, as you can see, I did not ask Smeargle to move, this is because I know Smeargle are built to be defensive pokemon, they can normally take a few hits, however if you watch my strategy....Water Gun!
Daniel: Water Gun? It knows that? 
Evan: DODGE!
Daniel: Right! Dodge Litten! 
Litten was too close to Smeargle to move out of the way in time and was struck by the water attack, causing it to faint.
Daniel: WOAH!
Ilima turned to his class. 
Ilima: Now do you see what happened?
A young girl put her hand up
Girl: You let Smeargle take the hit, so that Litten would be up close, that way you could use an attack which was super effective against your opponent. 
Ilima: Excellent observation, my opponent used an special attacking move, Smeargle has high special defensives, so when I let Ember hit, I knew it wouldn't have taken Smeargle down, but because Litten had attacked, it meant it was close in range, making it difficult to dodge any attack I threw. Which is why I went for Water Gun, a water type move which is super effective against a fire type pokemon like Litten! You see! 
The kids cheered.
Daniel picked up Litten, returning it to its pokeball.
Daniel: You did well, take a rest. 
Ilima: Class dismissed! 
The class left the battlefield, ready for their next lesson. 
Ilima turned to face the group.
Ilima: Thank you for that battle, you helped me demonstrate to my pupils the importance of type advantage in battle. 
Daniel: Its not a problem, thanks for accepting the challenge, you're an impressive battler
Ilima: As are you, now how can I help you? 
Daniel: Prof. Kukui sent us here to take part in the island challenges, but my friend Lauren here said its best to speak to you.
Ilima: Is that what she said now? Lauren, its been a while.
Daniel: HUH? 
Jocey: YOU GUYS?
Evan: Are you friends? 
Ilima: We were best friends a long time ago. Isn't that right Lauren?
Lauren went red.

*Alvis started going around town, asking people if they recognized Clare, no one seemingly budging*
Alvis: Come on, someone better
*Alvis made his way slowly to the trainer school

Ilima: Lauren, its been so long. 
Lauren: Well it wouldn't have been if you hadn't left.
Lauren walked away.
Ilima: You're still mad about that? 
Lauren went inside the school, went to sit in the cafeteria, alone. 
Daniel: Wait, a little confused here
Evan: Me too
Jocey: So you guys were friends? But then you left? And she's mad about that? 
Ilima: You must be her friends?
Daniel: Well we met yesterday, and she's joining us on our journey as her mother asked us to take her with us.
Ilima: Lauren is a sweet friend, she's a friend I have cherished all my life, but we lost contact when I had to leave on my journey, I asked her to come with me, but she refused, she hated pokemon, and so I had to decide, whether to stay with her and not follow my dreams, or leave on an adventure, without my friend and pursue my dreams. 
Daniel: Oh
Jocey: That must have been hard
Ilima: It wasn't easy, that's for sure. I had to go, everyone told me to follow my dreams and that's what I did, I guess its okay now, she's heading off on her adventure, a little late I suppose, but better late than never.
Jocey: Yeah, I've just left on my journey too, a little late also.
Evan: But at least you like pokemon and have one of your own.
Ilima: You mean she's on a journey, with no pokemon? And she still hates them?
Daniel: Yes, she still dislikes pokemon. 
Evan: I don't get it, why doesn't she like them, they're cute, right Togedemaru

A young Lauren and a little toddler were playing in the park by the seaside. 
Lauren was pushing the little boy on the swings, both were enjoying themselves. 
A young Ilima came to the park and began playing with them. 
They began playing tag. Lauren tagged the little boy.
Lauren: You're it! Come tag me!
Lauren ran out of the park and across the road, the little toddler began chasing her
Lauren: You can't catch me! 
Suddenly a herd of people riding on Tauros came charging down the road, just as the little toddler was crossing. 
Ilima: LOOK OUT!
Lauren: AHA AHA *notices the Tauros and the toddler on the road* NO! STOP!
Lauren began running towards the road, the Tauros did not see the toddler and kept charging!

Ilima: That little boy died that day.
Jocey: That's so sad.
Ilima: She took it so badly, the little boy was her neighbour, but his parents moved away not long after the incident, filled with grief. Lauren.....well....she didn't know what to do. And so as we grew up, she hated pokemon because they killed her neighbour...
Daniel: And if she hadn't of run out of the park......
Ilima: Exactly......so to deal with the guilt, she decided to never bother with pokemon again, and she grew up hating them, and believing that they were dangerous. I spent so many years trying to get her to play with pokemon again, but it was no use. And so when we turned 10, it was our time to set off on adventure. She begged me not to go, but what was there to stick around for? So I went on my adventure, and she remained at home....soon her sister grew up and left home on her journey too, and Lauren stayed......it must have been very lonely for her. 
Daniel: I bet. 
Ilima: Which is why when I saw her with you, I was filled with happiness, I thought she had forgiven herself, and started her journey, but alas. 
Jocey: She must be going through so many emotions. 
Daniel: Maybe we should find her.
Evan: Right
Minun: Mai
Turtwig: Twig
Ilima: I just wish she could go back to the way she was, before the accident, she was a lively friend, very VERY competitive, and she just loved to take charge.....but now she's a shadow of her former self. 


The group entered the cafeteria and sat down with Lauren. 
Lauren: Oh my.....he told you didn't he.
Jocey sat down, grabbing Lauren's hand.
Jocey: Yes, and its okay. 
Daniel and Evan sat down facing Lauren and Jocey
Daniel: Accidents......they happen. 
Lauren: Yes, but a child lost their life.
Daniel: I know, but you can't live your life, hating yourself, and hating pokemon, for the sake of accident. 
Jocey: He's right
Lauren: But I shouldn't have run out of that road. 
Jocey: .....
Evan: ......
Daniel: You know, I've had friends who's lives have been in danger because of me and my reckless ways. I've had friends tortured, and gone through absolute hell....but you can't live your life around that. I bet that child would not have wanted you too.
Lauren: ......
Daniel: You have to forgive yourself, and once you do that, you can forgive the pokemon too. 
Ilima: Listen to Dan, he's right. 
Lauren: Ilima....I'm sorry, for putting you in that difficult position all those years ago. 
Ilima: You had a lot going on, its fine, I turned out fine remember. 
Lauren smiled. 
Ilima: We can visit the graveyard if you'd like.
Lauren nodded. 
Daniel: Great idea.
Lauren: Minun, Turtwig.....
Minun and Turtwig looked up.
Lauren:. . . . . . t-thank you. For the other day. 
Minun and Turtwig smiled, then nodded. 
Daniel: Little steps. 
Jocey: Yeah, little steps! 
Lauren smiled at her friends.

*Alvis continued his way through the school asking everyone he saw about the girl in the photo, to little avail, but beginning to create a little bit of a scene*

Ilima noticed Alvis.
Ilima: Excuse me, are you looking for someone?
Daniel and the others looked up, looking at Alvis.

Alvis: Well, sort of, I am looking to see if anyone knows about this girl here *He held up a picture of Clarity* She and her friend sorta started a forest fire and me and my brother are trying to figure out why

Jocey: Who would do such a thing, all those poor pokemon. 
Ilima: How could she endanger the lives of others. 
Evan: Hey thats......
Daniel covered Evan's mouth. 
Daniel: a girl....yes, Evan, a girl. 
Evan pushed Dan's hand away, he then nodded.

Alvis: In their defense, there was a super hero fighting them..... so I sorta figure the fire part was an accident, but they just rushed off after him, I am sorry for interrupting your talk, clearly no one knows her, so we'll have a hard time finding out what is really going on here, alright I better get back, thank you *Alvis nodded to the group before turning around to leave*

Daniel: Sorry we couldn't be of help.
Ilima: Moving on, once we visit the grave, would you like to visit the island trial Dan? I'm assuming that's what you came here for?
Daniel: You know where the island trial is?
Ilima: Of course! I shall take you there.

Alvis:....I'll be back later for a trial Ilima *Alvis rushed off, holding the picture of Clarity in hand*

As school finished for the day, Ilima and Lauren led the group to the grave yard.

They arrived at Hau'oli Cemetery. 
Ilima and Lauren both looked at the grave, of their young friend, part of them felt sad that they never got to see him grow up because of a horrific accident, however it was time for Lauren to let go. 
Daniel, Evan and Jocey looked on, as their new friend let go of her issues. 
Lauren: Tommy, I'm so so sorry for what happened. I miss you, and I'll always always remember you. You will never be forgotten.
Lauren knelt down on the floor, looking over the grave. 
Turtwig began to glow green. 
Suddenly, the flowers and grass around the grave, the flowers grew, making the grave stand out, as the prettiest grave in the cemetery. 
Turtwig stopped glowing, as the flowers stopped too. 
Daniel: Overgrow? 
Turtwig: Twig!
Lauren:. . . . thank you Turtwig, thank you everyone. 
The sun shined brightly, the brightness began to blind the gang. 
Evan: I can't see! 
Daniel: Its so so bright.
As the brightness faded, a pokemon had appeared in front of the gravestone. 
Daniel: That pokemon? 
Jocey: It looks just like Vully! 
Daniel: Is it a Vulpix? 
Evan: Why is it white?
Ilima: That is because its an Alolan Vulpix, you may find that some pokemon don't look as they normally would, well, not what you would expect. They've adapted to the environment here.
Daniel: Interesting! Very interesting! 
The Vulpix looked up at Lauren. 
Ilima: Call me crazy.....but somehow, I think this Vulpix, its come from Tommy somehow, as if he's telling you its okay to let go. 
Lauren: Really? 
Daniel: That sounds like something that I can really believe. 
Lauren: But....its a pokemon. 
Ilima handed Lauren a pokemon. 
Ilima: This is your chance, to change your ways. 
Lauren looked at the Vulpix, then looked at the pokeball. 
Lauren stared for a moment, before eventually clicking the button, as Vulpix went inside. 
Daniel: Looks like you caught your first pokemon. 
Lauren: Since your Vulpix is called Vully, I think I'm going to call mine....Pixie! NO....WAIT. Ixie! 
Daniel: A nickname? 
Evan: Okay then. 
Togedemaru: Toge! 
Lauren still continued to stare at the pokeball. 
Ilima: So Daniel, the island trial. 
Daniel: Yes. 
Ilima: Head to Route 2 for Verdant Cavern, I'll see you there in the next couple days for you to begin your first trial. Use these next few days to prepare....Good luck!

Alvis: Sorry bro, I didn't find anyone who knew her
Gordy: It's fine all that means is she isn't a local either, alright, tomorrow we'll interrogate them, maybe call big bro and tell him to meet us, we may need the back up
Alvis: Sounds like a good idea to me

Lauren stood staring at her Vulpix in her and Jocey's room in the pokecenter. 
Lauren: You're a pokemon.......this is a new start for me....
Jocey and Vully entered the room!
Jocey: Dan has said about going exploring, he wants to train against some new pokemon, you guys coming? 
Lauren: Yeah sure, it would be good for us too. *looks at Ixie* 
Jocey: Us? That's it! You two are going to be a dream team! 

Jocey and Lauren ran out of the pokecenter, followed by Vully and Ixie! 
Jocey and Lauren: We're here!
Daniel: Oh good, you made it! 
Evan: Let's go!
Minun: Mai
Turtwig: Twig!
Togedemaru: TOGE!
The group made their way to through a route, they went through the woods and appeared in an opening.
Daniel: This looks like a good place, right!
Evan: Yeah! 
Daniel: You two ready?
Daniel looked at Jocey and Lauren, posing the question.
Jocey: WHO?
Lauren: Us? 
Daniel: Yeah, we'll tick lots of boxes today, we'll hopefully meet some new pokemon, plus you two can have your first official battle.
Jocey: B-battle!
Lauren: You want us to use the pokemon? 
Daniel: Sure!
Evan: It's good experience right!
Daniel: Right you are Ev, see Jocey, if you face off against Lauren who has no experience, its fair, that way you can see its okay for Vully to take hits, whereas Lauren, this is a good point for you to start bonding with your pokemon, and the best way for that is through battling!
Evan: EXPERIENCE!
Daniel: So, I'll be referee! 
Jocey: Are you sure about this?
Lauren: Battles are going to form a bond between me and Ixie? Yeah right! 
Daniel: Just try it!

*Gordy and Alvis made there way to the office, where an old man with a cane sat at the front desk waiting for them*
Old Man: Welcome to Encore Enterprises, how may I help you today
Gordy: Cut the cover story, we know you are up to more here
Old Man: What are you talking about?
Gordy: We saw Anabel and that Blue haired girl burn down the forest the other day
*Anabel, Looker and Clarity joined the group in the clearing*
Anabel: You are the boy from earlier
Clarity:... and you are?
Gordy: Gordy, of the Pokemon Rescue Squad
Anabel:.... So that Caterpie thing was of your family design
Gordy: You mean the thing you blew up?
Anabel: You mean the thing carrying thousands of Stolen Pokemon to be transferred to Arceus knows where?
Gordy: You didn't have to burn it down
Clarity: Ya, let an armored tank walk freely to transfer stolen Pokemon across the region, great idea
Alvis: But that's not what they are designed for
Anabel: Well, that's what it's being used for
Gordy: You still left a fire to burn
Anabel: To try and capture a relatively well known and well established Pokemon thief
Alvis: Thief, he looked like a super hero
Looker: Miss Anabel, maybe
Anabel: ...Your right, if they are the PRS we should let them know
Alvis: Know what
Anabel: ....Your tech has been taken by a group going by the name Phobos battalion
Gordy: W...what?
Looker: The group has somehow attained your blueprints, and are using their own version of your ships to help steal and transport Pokemon
Alvis: But our machines can't steal
Gordy:....that's where this old man comes in isn't it?
Old Man: Phobos was a friend of mine in my research days we developed a transport system to move large quantities of the same species
Gordy: The Trozei device
*the four of them looked over at each other in shock*
Alvis: Overheard in your first scuffle, the green guy said it
Looker: Ah yes PA 01 - Buzz *Looker led the group to the back where they saw the man in green on a bulletin board
Alvis: PA?
Clarity: Phobos Agent
Gordy: ....So you are hunting them down
Alvis:....that is quite the board you have there
Looker: Real Name Jay Broader, been in the region most of his life, his mother was visiting the region when she was struck down by an unknown assailant
Alvis: That's horrible....
Clarity: Taken in by Phobos and raised to be an excellent spy, he is a master of disguise
Gordy: So he could be anyone in the city
Clarity: Exactly
Gordy: So how do you intend to find him if he is a master of disguise
Anabel: He is marooned here, he will most likely try desperately to find a way off the island, as we have searched every corner of Melemele island and have found no signs of the Phobos Battalion's base
Looker: And all the ports are on heavy security duty until he is found
Gordy: So, you are going to wait him out?
Alvis: That would get them no where
Clarity: Nope
Anabel: We will search for them until they slip up
Looker: But we could use more hands for such a mission, would you two be interested?
Alvis: I am in
*Gordy rolled his eyes*
Gordy: if he is in, I guess I have to be too, but we need all the info you can get

Daniel: The battle between Jocey and Lauren shall now commence! 
Jocey: GO! Vully! 
Lauren: Okay, so this is all new. Um *throws pokeball* 
Evan: It helps to call your pokemon! 
Lauren: UH! GO, Ixie! 
The 2 Vulpix appeared in the field! 
Daniel: Lauren since you obtained your pokemon last, you get the first move! 
Lauren: But what do I do?
Daniel: Choose a move? 
Lauren: Like? 
Daniel: Ember? 
Lauren: Ixie use Ember! 
Ixie stood doing nothing. 
Daniel: Its.....not doing anything. Ixie? Do something?
Ixie let out a blast of ice. 
Daniel: An ice move? 
Lauren: Isn't Ember fire? Why are you telling me to use fire attacks if Ixie is using ice moves.
Jocey: OH NO!!!! 
The ice slammed into Vully
Jocey: VULLY! NO!
Jocey was about to on to the field.
Vully stood confidently.
Vully: VULL!
Jocey: Vully? 
Vully then let out an Ember attack itself! 
The fire type move hit Ixie, causing it to faint after the one hit.
Evan: That was quick. 
Daniel: Yeah....too quick don't you think? Ixie is unable to battle, Jocey and Vully are the winners! 
Jocey: We won? We won! 
Vully ran back to Jocey, excited! 
Lauren: *turning red* I LOST? 
Evan: Uh-oh! 
Lauren: I DON'T LOSE. THAT'S NOT FAIR! You cheated
Jocey: Cheated? How did I cheat?
Lauren: Obviously you and Dan were working alongside each other.
Daniel: Me? What did I do?
Lauren: You told me to call out a move that Ixie doesn't even know
Daniel: How was I suppose to know? Vulpix that I'm aware of know fire type moves. I've never seen a Vulpix use an ice type move. 
Lauren: But you're the wanna be pokemon master, you should know this. 
Daniel: Well this is a new region. 
Minun and Turtwig watched.
Lauren: Not so much of an expert after all.
Jocey: He knew more than you.
Lauren: I JUST started. You obviously had a type advantage, if you didn't have a type advantage, I would have won? 
Jocey: Really, the girl who moments ago, hated pokemon?
Lauren: You know why I hated pokemon. At least I can get around this place, you're the one who got stuck trying to find her way for two weeks. 
Daniel: Okay girls, calm down. 
Lauren and Jocey both turned to face Dan.
Evan: Big mistake 
Lauren: This is your fault. 
Jocey: We didn't even want to battle anyway. 
Lauren: Exactly, but you forced us into it. 
Daniel: Well, its a learning curve, you know for next time right? 
Lauren: Hpmm.
Jocey: Hpmm. 
Daniel: This is a bit frosty. 
Minun: MAI
Turtwig: Twig! 
Daniel: Alola....this is going to be one 'fun' adventure *rolls eyes*
Lauren and Jocey both stormed off in different directions. 
Evan: I think I preferred it when there were more boys in the group.
Daniel: Me too buddy, me too......

*the group of them split up, looking around Melemele island, in pairs of two, Alvis and Gordy heading to the North Enterance, Clarity and Anabel near the east while Looker and Professor P, the older gentleman started scouring around the pier*

Evan: Great now we've got to go after both of them.
Daniel: Nah, we'll wait it out, they're girls after all, eventually they'll calm down and come back. 
Minun: Mai
Evan: Girls can be weird don't you think? 
Turtwig: Twig! 
Daniel: Besides, Litten can do with some more training. 


Jocey wandered through the greens, followed by Vully. 
Jocey: I don't get lost. No. I know exactly where to go, I'll show them....*looks around* Wait, where am I? AWWWWWWWW. Daaaaaaaaaaaan?

Lauren was heading in the opposite direction.
Lauren: Teaming up like that to make me lose was low. 
Ixie: Vul? PIX PIX
Lauren: Oh, you're still here too? 
Ixie: Pix pix
Lauren stood and looked down at Ixie. 
Lauren: Wait, did I just talk to you? 
Ixie: Pix
Lauren: There I go again...uh, is this normal? 
Ixie: Vul pix pix vul 
Lauren: So you understand me? This is, really weird, I've never communicated with a pokemon before. 
Ixie smiled
Lauren: Maybe you aren't so bad after all. 
Ixie jumped up and down.
Lauren: Ixie, I've got an idea, why don't we show those Dan, Jocey and Evan just how good of a team we could be. I HATE losing, so I don't want to lose again, okay?
Ixie nodded. 
Lauren: Good, now then, its probably good to start with finding out what type you are exactly and also look at the moves you can use. I need a pokedex to do that, but that means I have to ask one of them. Ugh! 
Lauren looked back in the direction she walked from.

Alvis and Gordy looked around, making their way to the motel*

Daniel: Litten, Ember, Minun, dodge and use Thunderbolt, Turtwig get in there, use Crunch! 
Evan: Do you hear something?
Daniel: No why?
Evan: I thought I heard music...
Daniel: Music?

Daniel: Now its getting louder.....NO...Oh please.
Evan: Its that creepy guy again isn't it?

A Ludicolo came jumping along the route. 
Daniel: Its him.
A second Ludicolo appeared.
Evan: Oh what's he doing here.
Minun: Mai
Turtwig: Twig
Litten and Togedemaru both looked confused.
A third Ludicolo appeared.
The 3 Ludicolo danced along to the music. 
It suddenly began to rain. 
Daniel: Ah great, this is just what we needed. 
Suddenly, 2 little yellow birds came down from the trees, dancing. 
Daniel: Woah, new pokemon?
Evan: Do you think they like the music? 
Daniel: They'd be the first. 
Pokedex: Oricorio, the dancing pokemon. It creates an electric charge by rubbing its feathers together. It dances over its enemies and delivers shocking electrical punches.
Daniel: Sounds like an electric type! 
Mirror B finally appeared.
Mirror B: That's its sweetie, you dance, show mumma what you got! 
Daniel: You again!
Mirror B: Oh lookie here, we got a handsome young man from the past, oh now wheres your handsome friend. You two can't be the blues brothers if your not together. 
Daniel: Blue Brothers? 
Mirror B: Suppose, if he's out of the way, you can be all mine. 
Evan: Uh.
Daniel: Thanks, but I'm not something you can own. Litten, use Ember! 
Mirror B: Uh uh uh, no no no, no fire types here please, I'm already to hot to handle! 
Litten let out the ember attack, which was then quickly put out by the rain. 
Mirror B: Now, Teeter Dance! 
The 3 Ludicolo began dancing each grabbing hold of Minun, Turtwig and Litten and using them as dancing partners. 
Daniel: Minun? Turtwig? Litten? 
The 3 pokemon became confused, and began dancing the music. 
Daniel: Guys! 
Mirror B: Now then, you sweeties are coming with me! 
Mirror B did a small dance, before flicking a button on a device. Suddenly, a net flew over Daniel, Evan, Minun, Turtwig, Litten and Togedemaru. 
Within minutes, a van pulled up, inside driving was Lovrina. 
Lovrina: AH Mirror! You got me that boyfriend I wanted.
Mirror B: Hands off hunny, he's mine. 
Lovrina: Ah, you can't have the other one though. 
Mirror B: It looks like they broke up.
Daniel: Broke up? What is this? 
Mirror B: Ah sweetie, we'll fill your heartbreak.
Daniel: I'd prefer it if you stopped 'shipping' me off all the time. 
Mirror B gagged Daniel and Evan before putting them in the back a of the van. 
Mirror B: We got some new pokemon, and a lovely new man. Plus the kid, we can dispose of him easily though. 
Lovrina: Ah, this was so good. 


Elsewhere, Lauren began heading back to the where she had wandered off. She arrived, yet no one was seen.
Lauren: Do you think? They left me....
Ixie: Vul? 
Lauren: Maybe I pushed them away too quickly. Darn it. Looks like its us then.....me and just a Pokemon. 
Ixie: IX? PIX VULPIX
Ixie began sniffing the ground for a scent. 
Ixie: IX IX!
Lauren: What is it? 



Jocey was wandering along the path.
Jocey: Maybe they're right, maybe I do get lost easily. 
Vully: Vulpix Vul
Jocey: Vully, why does this always happen to us? 
Up ahead, she saw a small yellow pokemon jump out of a bush. 
Jocey: Woah, what's that pokemon? 
Pokedex: Pichu, the tiny Mouse pokemon. The electric sacs on Pichu's cheeks are small. If it tries to store more electricity than they can hold, Pichu will shock itself. 
Jocey: A Pichu? That's so cute.
The Pichu was happily jumping up and down at the sight of the trainer. 
Jocey: Do you think its happy to meet us?
Vully: Vul? 
Suddenly the screech of a car could be heard. 
Jocey: What's that?
From the distance she saw head lights.
Jocey: LOOK OUT!
Jocey dived into the Pichu, knocking it out of the way, the van bursted out of the bushes, just missing them, and then carried on down the route. 
Jocey: Phew, that was close. Are you okay? 
Pichu: PICHU PICHU PICHU!
The Pichu was excited, it jumped onto Jocey, before showing her affection. 
Jocey: Oh its okay, you're safe now.
Just as the two got acquainted, Lauren and Ixie appeared.
Lauren: Jocey? Are you alright? 
Lauren ran over to Jocey, who was still lying on the floor.
Jocey: Uh? Oh yeah, I'm fine....you know me, I'm clumsy! 
Lauren: Yeah I suppose, but I'm glad you're okay. Where's Dan? 
Jocey: Isn't he back in that direction? 
Lauren: No, him and Evan weren't in the same place that we left you. 
Ixie sniffed the air, in the same direction the van headed in. 
Lauren: Is he up there?
Jocey: He didn't pass me, I would have seen him, nothing has passed me......except the van that just knocked us over.
Lauren: A van?
Jocey: Yeah, a van just drove up here, recklessly. As if it were in a hurry.
Lauren: That sounds a little odd don't you think?
Jocey: You know, now I think about it.....yeah. 
Lauren: Ixie, do you think he's in that direction? 
Ixie nodded.
Lauren: Let's go!
Lauren and Ixie ran off after the van.
Jocey: Look at that Vully, they're bonding! Ahhh *sees Pichu standing, staring at her* I've got to go now, be safe.
Jocey and Vully followed Lauren.
The Pichu stared as they ran off.

*Clarity and Anabel left the city, heading towards the motel and the music*

Lauren and Jocey chased after the van as it headed back into the city. Jocey was lagging behind, huffing and puffing.
Jocey: AWWWWW I hate running. DAAAAAAAAAAN! Where are you?
Lauren: Hurry quick its getting away. 
The van began to disappear in the distance. 
Jocey: Its too late.
Lauren: We can't catch up to a van. Who were we trying to kid. 
Lauren looked disappointed. 
Ixie looked at its trainer. 
Ixie: VUL? PIXXXX! *shoots out ice from its mouth*
The ice began to cover the road. Ixie then jumped onto it, sliding quickly along. 
Lauren: The ice? You could use it...of course. Quick Joss, let's go! 
Lauren jumped onto the ice, sliding along, followed by Vully. 
Jocey: Oh great. Just what I need it, I'll never keep my balance on their. Oh well, here goes. 
Jocey jumped onto the ice, tripping, and sliding along on her bottom. 

As they slid, Ixie continued to cover the ground in front, they got faster, and the van reappeared in their sights.
Lauren: This was a great idea! Amazing. 
Jocey: AHHHHHH
As the girls got closer, the van was just up in the distance, Ixie shot a more powerful attack, this time hitting the back wheels of the van, causing it to skid, and crash into a tree. 
Mirror B and Lovrina jumped out of the van. 
Lovrina: AGH. My hair! You nearly made me put my hair out of places.
Mirror B: Sister, uh, what about my hair? My afro was nearly burnt off. 
Lovrina: Those jealous girls, they're jealous we took their boyfriend. 
Jocey: Boyfriend? Ah no way. If that's what you wanted you can keep him. But at least give us Evan, he's a little kid. 
Mirror B: You'll pay for breaking our van. GO Oricorio! 
The little yellow pom-pom bird jumped out of a pokeball.
Lovrina: Fomantis! Teach these girls a lesson! 
Lauren: Is this a battle?
Lovrina: YES. NOW FIGHT ME! Fomantis, use Razor Leaf! 
Mirror B: Revelation Dance!
 Fomantis fired leaves out of its body
Lauren: Okay, Ixie, ATTACK! 
Ixie used an ice attack, freezing the leaves, it then headbutted them back at Fomantis. 
Oricorio began dancing, suddenly it rubbed its feathers together, which then shot out electricity, firing at Vully.
Jocey: VULLY LOOK OUT! 
Out of what seemed nowhere, Pichu flipped, landing in front of Vully, taking the electrical attack. 
Jocey: That Pichu from earlier?
Mirror B: AGAIN! 
Oricorio attacked again. 
Pichu surrounded itself in electricity before charging at Oricorio, knocking it straight out. 
Mirror B: Oh no! My precious baby! 
Ixie used its ice attack, it KO'd Fomantis. 
Lovrina: NO NO NO *stomps feet* 
Vully then launched a fire attack out of its mouth, whilst Ixie let out an ice attack
The 2 attacks launched into Mirror B and Lovrina, who ended up getting blasted out into the skies. 
Jocey: WHOA! Did you just win a battle? 
Lauren: Uh, I think we did! WOW! 
Vully and Ixie jumped around together. 
Lauren: WE DID IT!
Lauren and Jocey hugged, jumping up and down, before picking up their respective Vulpix.
Jocey: YOU DID GREAT!
Lauren: You did it! I'm so proud.....wait...uh....actually this doesn't feel that weird anymore *hugs Ixie* 
Jocey: And you were great too....*turns to see the Pichu had vanished* That's weird. 
Lauren opened the backdoor to the van, allowing Daniel, Evan, Minun, Turtwig, Litten and Togedemaru got out. 
Daniel: Whoa, you saved us? 
Evan: Thank you, it was cramped in there.
Lauren: We did, we worked as a team and we saved you. 
Jocey: And Lauren and Ixie were amazing
Lauren: Aw, you and Vully were awesome! 
Daniel: Wait did you battle? 
Jocey: We beat those 2 who stole you?
Evan: AW, we missed your first victory. 
Lauren: Don't worry there will be plenty more of those. 
Jocey: Well, maybe, who were those crooks?
Daniel: Mirror B and Lovrina, they're a duo of weirdos.
Lauren: Do they work for Team Skull? 
Daniel: Team Skull? Nah, they're just crooks, independent crooks. 
Evan: But they are weird. They both fancy Dan, and also fancied our old travelling companion.
Daniel: Yeah, they 'shipped' us together, or wanted to be with us, I don't really understand them. But I guess we owe you a thank you.
Evan: Yeah thanks. 
All of the groups pokemon began jumping up and down.

*Upon having failed the group regrouped later in the day*
Gordy: No luck with us
Anabel: Us either....
Looker: Then no one got anywhere....
Gordy: You mentioned that you have the island on Lockdown, maybe then me and Alvis go check the island as part of his journey, and see if we find anything
Alvis: Sounds good to me
Anabel: We would prefer your expertise back here at base
Gordy: And I'd rather not let my little bro run into a dangerous criminal all by himself
Alvis: I can handle myself
Gordy: Hey I am your brother, it's my job to worry
Alvis: Fine...
Anabel: ...Alright, but here *Anabel handed Gordy and Alvis communicators* if you hear anything
Alvis: You can count on us
Clarity: And remember, it could be anyone
*the pair nodded, heading to the site of the first trial*

Cutiefly: CUTIE! *a large hoard of Pokemon could be heard crying out as they were captured by a pair of poachers, a bare-chested man wearing a pair of green straps reaching across his chest from his pants to his shoulders along with a pair of grey spiked gloves and boots and black pants, the man standing there with a flaming orange Mohawk accompanied by an Aggron as his partner Pokemon, and along with him was a woman with long black hair reaching past her shoulders, a black jacket with opal colored shoulderpads, reaching to her knees buttoned to the far left, along with a pair of black and white socks reaching past her knees, with a very familiar appearance to her, along with her stood a Houndoom, growling at the captured Cutiefly, who stood in a huge cage full to the brim with the creatures standing by a giant drill vehicle*
Grock: 100, just what that Phobos man wanted
*Alvis heard the noise*
Alvis:Th...that sounded like a Pokemon in need
Gordy: Alvis, wait up *Gordy and Alvis made there way to the sound, reaching the back where the man was, loading on the last one*
Grock: Hey Rarity, it looks like we got a group of trainers on our turf
Rarity: Then let them know, this is our catch, not theres, we caught them fair and square
Alvis: Fair and square my foot, I recognize that vehicle anywhere, that's our number three rescue vehicle, where did you get it?
Grock: We aren't at liberty to discuss our employer with you
Rarity: You idiot, now he knows it's our employer
Alvis:....the same one with the bug man! *Alvis grabbed his Pokeball* You two are going down! *Rowlet was sent out against the trainers*

Daniel, Evan, Jocey and Lauren were heading down the route. Jocey having explained to Daniel about the Pichu she encountered.
Daniel: It covered its body in electricity? Then charged? Sounds like Volt Tackle 
Minun: Mai
Turtwig: Twig! 
Daniel: Speaking of moves, why don't we see what moves your Vulpix's can use. 
Lauren: How though?
Daniel: Thats the beauty of the pokedex. 
Daniel used his pokedex to identify the moves. 
Pokedex: Non-Alolan Vulpix, known moves; Flame Burst, Extrasensory, Fire Spin and Feint Attack.  Alolan Vulpix, known moves; Aurora Beam, Extrasensory, Feint Attack and Ice Shard. 
Daniel: Some impressive moves.
Lauren: So, when we use our Vulpix, we ask them to use those moves?
Daniel: Yeah, its something you get used to, especially as we go through our travels. 
Evan: Yeah, then you can decide which move you think will be best. 
Suddenly, the group heard a screech of a pokemon.
